Walking into this store can be very overwhelming because there are so many employees and so many customers, it's pure chaos. After checking in, you're greeted by one of their employees who will try to sell you everything under the sun, regardless of just wanting to pick up an online order. I placed my online order so that I wouldn't have to go through the whole process of upgrading my son's phone in store and to save time because I am extremely busy. Unfortunately, that's not the case in this situation.. I understand that their employees may work off of commission because they really really try to get you to buy every product AT&T has to offer. After three hours in the store, I went home, extremely frustrated and had to cancel services that I did not even know the employee signed me up for. read more

Usually the same girl would help me when I go in and she's super helpful but today wasn't the day! I was left unattended for 2 hours in the store while I'm sure he was the store lead/manager/supervisor was just watching the soccer game instead of making sure his people were helping customers. I did not receive the help I wanted, instead I had to do it myself until I realize what was I still doing there waiting for these useless AT&T employees to help me. This place basically treating me like a criminal asking for ID. I went in there with a problem. Mayra was trying to show me that my problem didn't exist. The plug to charge was not working and it happened to work there. I told her it is sitting one way and it'll charge and then it won't. But they. I felt like she had this curt attitude like i was making this up. I felt like she was in a hurry to get me out of there. Here's my new really bad review from AT&T,, when your on a cruise on any cruise AT&T will charge you $20 per day, so you will get charged and they will not take it off... my hubby didn't forgot to put his phone in airplane mode and they charged us.... I guess I spoke to soon. I found out that the staff really isn't very knowledgeable about the the their contracts. I was told by Alex then reassured by the manager Chris that my bank account would not be debited for 14 days kind of like a little cooling off period to see if you actually like the service and give time for them to send out the equipment for our streaming internet service as well as Direct TV which and a router for the TV's on our house boat. We had such a hard time using WiFi at home on our phones, my husband could watch football this past Sunday because the station kept being interrupted I'm guess to many people were watching they games because it worked fine after all the games went off. I just cancelled everything. I'm so glad I never actually took my Xfinity equipment back or cancelled my service which I had planned to do on Monday. I complained about Xfinity but you get what you pay for, we never had any interruptions with our WiFi or Cable, the prices just keep rising. I still use AT&T as my wireless provider and have been for over 35 years so we are loyalty customers when it comes to our cell phone but that's all the business I can give you AT&T. read more

Alex one of the store managers and his sidekick (didn't get her name) are extremely rude and disconnected on properly checking customers in standard work. I had a phone return I purchased online and when talking to customer care they advised me for my convenience I could go to their corporate location and complete my return/exchange. My appointment was for 1:00pm arrived at 12:45pm and was checked in by Alex, asked me what I was there for today, I replied a "return" and then he said we will be with you as soon as we can. Never was I given the disclosure they couldn't or probably didn't want to process an online upgrade order return. Had me waiting until 1:20 only to tell me I couldn't be helped and should call customer care for a shipping label. read more

I have never witnessed a more inexperienced manager when it comes to customer service. He was immature, even to the point where I was told "I am not giving my name go ahead and call coorporate." No one like him should be in that position and I feel bad for the employees under him. Shame on him for wanting a sale so bad that we were told that our old phone couldnt be turned back on to use while the phone we wanted could be shipped. From reading other reviews, it's obvious that AT&T does not care whatsoever. I have also reached out to retail manager Christopher, whose information I received from corporate. If I could give no stars, I would! Went in for a phone upgrade seeing as my phone had gone kaput the night prior and was told that since the physical appearance of my phone was in perfect condition, all I had to do was find a way to restore the phone and delete all of my personal information inside in order to receive a trade-in value of $350. This was discussed prior to me choosing the new phone and highly influenced my decision to splurge for a device with more storage. Within about 15 minutes of restoring the old device, we proceeded with the trade-in and were then told we would only be getting back $17 because the screen wouldn't turn on. This was completely to my surprise because not only was the employee aware of our issue but the manager on scene was also made aware of the condition of my phone (screen was flashing upon arrival but completely black by the time the device was handed over to them). The manager (Megan), also aware of the condition of my phone from the time we walked in, stated that all she needed to do was see the phone flash in order to enter into her system that the screen was "in working condition "... all while Edwin stood beside verifying it had done so previously (not even 15 minutes ago) but she stated that we weren't doing the trade in while the phone was flashing so she needed to see it right then in order to proceed with the trade-in which would result in me getting my $350 off. In the end, the trade-in was null and we were lied to. Upset over the splurge I had made, depending on the $350 trade-in I was guaranteed from the very beginning, I asked about getting an exchange for a more inexpensive phone and Megan stated that we would have to pay a $55 restock fee... now out $350 but also $55? We decided against this because at this point in the visit, I was ready to leave to avoid further frustration. To add to the lies and runaround we received while at ATT, the account holder (my mother) received a notification of change in phone plans for our family line. She called ATT for clarification and they started that while I was there purchasing my phone, I had authorized a downgrade in our account which resulted in the loss of a plan we were grandfathered into (which is no longer available) after being with ATT for OVER 20 YEARS. The only interaction made that day was the purchase of a new phone outright. A new or different plan was never discussed let alone authorized. Nothing was signed and I definitely didn't authorize anything verbally. Needless to say, we are absolutely disappointed in ATT service and are actively working on looking for a new provider so that we can part from ATT. Everyone in my family is beside themselves because of this entire debacle and we are making everyone we know aware of how ATT does business. Shady and unreliable. read more

I listened to a proposal to change my phone service therefore saving money, looked at a new Iphone and had questions answered regarding my iPad. This is my first negative review but the store manager deserves one. I checked in and told the person checking us in that we are here for a trade in. I was told it will take 40 minutes but to check in 20 minutes. We waited for over an hour and was being helped by Giselle when the manager approached our table and asked what we needed helped with. My husband was explaining why and she said this phone is worthless that they do not have time to do what we are asking for since they are closing already so it is better to do a cross exchange. At that point I told my husband that we should just leave since they don't have time. We were walking out when the manager tried explaining herself and I told her as we were walking out that she should have done that when we were seated. She told us not to come back to the store as we were leaving. We've been an AT&T customer for more than 20 Years and waited patiently for over an hour just to be treated this way. I was wanting to just come in for a charger but they told me to go to the kiosk and only 1 out of the 2 kiosk is able to charge me for an accessory. The other one was only taking payments. After I got to the payment screen I was swiping my promotional card that AT&T sent me when I turned in my phone and it was to be used by August. After swiping it so many times I had someone help me and they were just telling me to use a different card cause it's not working. I didn't want to use my own card cause there's 30 bucks left on the card and I needed a charger. I asked if she could just ring me up really quickly cause I have an appointment at 1 and afterwards I'm going home which is an hour away and I need the charger. She told me I had to be queued to buy a charger. Like are you kidding me I'm not buying a new phone which I understand that takes awhile, but it's a 20 dollar charger one item. Either get more people to help or fix the kiosk. I felt like they didn't even care. read more

Been an at&t member for 10+ years. Went in to trade my iPhone 13 mini for an iPhone 16. Was told one thing which was that if I bought my iPhone 16 right there and then, I would receive a $1000 trade in value. Bought the phone with that employee, came back, and was told something different by a different employee. Was told to come back a third time to speak to the original employee and when I did, the manager was telling me something completely different that I was told the first time. At first, they said it was because I didn't get the iPhone 16 Pro and then they said it was because I had a scratch and then they said to trade in my phone and to call loyalty afterwards. During this whole mishap, I was asking the original employee why they said what they said, and they replied that the manager was just "saying things because she didn't want to do the work". The fourth time I came back, the employee that was helping me was chewing her gum very loudly and trying to explain something to me that didn't make sense to me. When I told her I was confused, she said the exact same words and when I told her it still didn't make sense she said "it's because my manager told me that you wanted something else." I told her "why do you sound mad?" And she didn't reply. Lots of "she said, he said" with the managers and employees here. I've been here about six times and still working on resolving this. Customer service not the greatest and business does not provide a restroom for customers

A few months ago I came to this store because I needed to open 100+ bussiness data lines at the end they were only able to to open 15 lines for me. Lucy the manager and Lan an AT&T employee of the same location explained to me that I needed a tax ID or a parter in order to open more lines at the end they were only able to open 13 extra lines thanks to a parter that I found. that is the end of the good part Here's the bad part Lucy promise me that Lan and/or other employees of the store would be always be there to assist me via text message or by phone whenever I needed help with my lines which mainly included constant sim card changes, Lucy the manager would never answered my calls or texts after the first meeting and eveytime I contacted Lan she was always either away from work or busy with a customers taking forever for simple tasks such as a sim card change for one of my lines, after only 3 months of service they are now refusing to help me with my lines and they recommended me to call AT&T customer service for my line needs which also stinks but that's another story overall I am pretty disappointed because AT&T but specially the employees at this store did not meet up my expectations now I will have to cancel all my lines due to this horrible expirience with Lucy and her partners Definitely I do not recommend AT&T but specially this store because they lied to you in order to get your business read more

I have never seen such a disorganized store. After standing in line for over 45 minutes, I personally complained to the poor security guard. He had no idea what the process for being helped was except to have you stand in line. Someone FINALLY came out. Yes, she FINALLY took our name with ten others who basically rushed forward like ants toward some food. Well, we get called only to find out that we could not be helped. I would like to suggest a triage employee to take names, see if we can possibly be helped, give a number, whatever works for you. Leaving patrons including very senior people in the cold is rather inconsiderate and reflects very badly on the quality of the managerial staff. My finally suggestion, dont go here ever! read more

the wait time here is ridiculous. i came back in february to start a new plan and get myself a new phone, back when the pandemic was still really raging on. i was told i was the only one allowed in the store and my husband and daughter had to wait outside, but another family had brought in their three kids who wouldn't keep their masks on and kept touching all the display items. how was my eight month old baby who was strapped in a baby carrier, along with my husband (who's name was the main one on the plan) more of a risk than this huge family with out of control kids? i got service from xavier the three times i had to go back (because he was the one who set up my original plan and understood the circumstances around it). he's the only reason this isn't a one star review. even though i had to wait three hours to get my stuff sorted out, he catered to me AND three other customers. all this while there were six other employees (some of which were managers) just standing around the center of the store joking and messing around for at least an hour. one of them was supposed to be helping an old man seated near me and almost completely forgotten him, while xavier ended up taking over and helping the guy out. any other time i've been there, i've been met with condescending service or just ignored for an hour. ask for xavier if he's there! read more

I went this store last week and trying to switch visible wireless to atnt and some how this guy can't port my number so I left that store and I went to cricket wireless and cricket people find out that atnt still processing my number which I didn't want any more and I called atnt store and tell them to cancel my port process and even after week I came to New York and trying to move cricket again but still atnt guy processing my number so i called atnt customer service and they canceled my porting .this(he) is so stupid because I left that store because they can't port my number so that is not my fault and I don't know why he is still processing my number? read more

Since I got out of the stone age and got cable and internet for my house. I chose to go with AT&T. I come here only to pay my bill. When you first show up an AT&T employee is standing on front of the door. You tell them what's, what and give them your name. Then you wait for your named to be called. The wait times varries, if you come when it's busy, then expect a longer wait and the opposite if it's slow. I used to be impatient, but that's not how I roll anymore. As long as my business gets finished, that's all that matters to me. Sometimes I forgot my bill so I wait for an associate to look up my account for me. Twice since I've been coming here the past two months, my service has been excellent. AT&T employee Myra has helped my brother and I, for payment for our bill. Ok...I know AT&T has their issues.. sometimes their coverage sucks. But this review is for the AT&T store. I am a fan of this store.. this is where I do my AT&T business. I have had to deal with them a few times in the last couple of months...because of problems with cell phones. It is a large store...most of the time it is pretty busy. The store is functional though. Upon entering, you will be greeted by a person at the door with a clip board. You can tell him/her a bit about why you are there and they will add your name to the list. When it is your turn they will call your name. In the mean time you can browse and drool...over all of the latest and greatest phones. One gripe...no seats. You might have to wait ten to fifteen minutes...standing. There is ALL of this room. AT&T folks, please add some basic benches so we may sit if we choose. Maybe the idea is that they want to keep you milling around looking at the displays of phones and accessories so they sell more. I was helped today by a VERY pleasant associate by the name of Meghan. She was more than patient and took her time with me even though she was making no commission on my exchange. If you have need to go to the ATT store, ask for Meghan. read more

First time being here and walking in like an idiot with my mom and my sister behind us. A nice African American man name Claude was extremely helpful. Never had such a nice service. He explained everything step by step by writing and drawing out my mom's contract. He waited patiently even though we messed up couple of times. Yet, he was smiling and happily accepting my questions even though he repeated it countless of times. However, I felt bad for wasting his time because for some reason, my mom's personal account wasn't working...we pretty much wasted almost 40 mins with him...I dont know who was working on the other line typing up my mom's account but once I got home and called them, her account was just fine. We will be back to get it fix and hopefully we get his service again! read more

I was on the road for work, and my car charger for my phone stopped working, so I visited this store. The gentleman at the front door pointed to where the chargers were, then said someone could ring me up right away. I picked out which one I wanted, and then there was a different employee at the door. He checked for my name on the list and saw I wasn't on there. I told him the other employee told me that someone could ring me up quickly, and I was told again that someone would be along soon. A few minutes passed, and I asked if someone could help -- as I noticed a couple of employees doing work around the store but not helping anyone. He told me I had to wait. He suggested that I come back later. I explained that my phone was dead, and I was traveling for work, so I needed to buy it now. I asked him if he could process the transaction for me, and he said he couldn't and maybe I should go somewhere else to buy a charger. I asked him where I could buy one, and he told me "Best Buy." So, yes, someone refused a sale and directed me to go to Best Buy about 100 yards away -- which I did. Unbelievable. read more

So I came in yesterday to activate my new phone and have my contacts, pictures, videos, etc. transferred over. Although I came in early (to beat the crowd), others had the same idea in mind and were there earlier than me. The manager informed us he was short handed (that day) and there will be a little waiting, not a problem for me. When my turn came, Jay was the rep who initially assisted me and did a good job helping me out. The transfer was taking so long so he suggested I go to lunch or something and comeback while he tends to the others in waiting. When I came back Ana took over, she sat me down and showed me the new things my new phone can do. And since she's is considered the Samsung guru (in that location) it all worked out because I took advantage of the AT&T exchange program and upgraded to the Galaxy S22 plus. This review has more to do with the overall product I just came over from t-mobile and boy do I regret it now I have to deal with 1 bar at home for the next couple of years and also internet that is always loading on top of that a c.s rep that tells me "we just met so I have nothing to do with u waiting on the phone for an hour. I took my mother in for upgrade and Yori was my rep. She was amazing! She was so patient with my parents and I. Not only did my mother get the phone she wanted. Yori found out that someone had accessed my account illegally and added and unauthorized user on my account. It was so scary, but thanks to Yori. She was able to get everything situated for me. I dropped my phone in water today and raced over here to get another phone. I unfortunately do not remember the sales lady's name but she was awesome. She made me feel at ease and calmed me down (I was more than a little upset about my poor wet phone) and explained how the insurance worked. She patiently answered all my questions and helped me pick out a Lifeproof case for my replacement phone. I'm very happy with the service here and with AT&T in general. read more
