Although I was very dismayed in its sister location up the road in Timonium, this mall counterpart has knowledgeable staff who will quickly assist you in a variety of tasks, unusual requests, or the hum-drum shopping & bill-paying basics. When stopping in regarding bill payment in absence of password, a staffer directed me towards an alternate way to verify my legitimacy and complete the transaction. Another time, when asking about switching over the account-holder's name due to a death in the family, an employee confirmed with peers and quickly directed me to AT&T's 800 number since such requests cannot be handled in-store. I stayed near the store in case there was some discrepancy (paperwork requirement) but nope, all good, and the phone rep had us all set to go in 10 minutes, flat. Most importantly, several visits have shown that staff here are understanding and attempt to solve any issue, pronto. This, though, has been a great improvement over the past couple of years as a prior engagement to add an account holder proved disastrous. At that time, no one (from our fam) could remember the account password yet, somehow, having the account holder--an elderly individual whose trip was visibly arduous--there with an ID was not sufficient to override the obscure process. As far as AT&T stores go this one is a winner. It has everything that one would expect in a wireless store - phones, accessories, voice & data plans, etc. But it's real value comes in 2 parts: 1) the service staff and 2) it's a corporate store. For the first part, the staff is both knowledgeable and helpful, a good combination since either one alone can do more harm than good. Add to this the fact that it's a corporate store and you're really cooking with fire. This is because they do not have to "call someone" to get permission to do unorthodox things. That way they can apply creative solutions to any problems that may arise. I'm happy to have my phone and service working smoothly, where I don't need to go to a store; but if I have a problem this store is my solution. read more

Ask for Kevin !! I went to the AT&T store this past weekend looking to upgrade to a newer iPhone and I was overwhelmingly impressed with the sales associate Kevin who helped me through the process. I generally loathe going to cell phone stores and have had plenty of my own bad experiences with pushy employees and confusing contracts so I was somewhat hesitant at first to my trip to the Towson AT&T store. After arriving I met with Kevin and he was able to answer all of my questions about the iPhone models, walk me through the phone case options, chargers, etc. He went through the contract with me and talked to me about each option and made sure I felt comfortable and assured with the plan. Kevin was patient, honest, and authentic in his interaction with me, I never felt rushed, and he gave me his genuine opinion about the products and his own experiences with them. He rules, and I am rly happy with the new purchase!! read more

If I could give it a lower rating I would. I absolutely hate coming here. Literally, there is no one that knows anything... this time on top of the incompetence. The "manager" Kayla seemed to have something way more important going on in her phone. Matt, person who was helping me, seemed to be new or perhaps just didn't know what was going on. I simply wanted to pay a bill. He kept asking for her help but instead of making sure he finished the transaction she kept going back to her phone and even had time to say hello to two of her peers. While this whole thing was happening I asked Matt for her name because she was not wearing a name tag. I will plan to never speak to an other at&t rep for as long as life will let me, unless it's my friend Alex Downey. The level of incompetence is unbelievable. Thanks to this person I had only 5 minutes to eat my lunch and then head back to work. Kayla, you are by far the anti customer super hero of the day. read more

If I could give a zero star rating I would. None of the employees wanted to assist me. The manger didn't seem to care, she seemed busy hanging out and playing on her phone. My phone stopped working and I received no help what so ever ! I will never go to this store again. read more

This is my review of the store not the kiosk in Towson Town Mall. I Wish I had read the reviews before shopping at this location. Horrible UNNECESSARY experience here today. I ordered a phone online and figured it would be a quick pick up ---NOT! The associate was so disengaged. Customer service does not have to be dead, disengaged, and uninformative. It was such an awkward experience. While the issue with the authentication was not her fault, what was problematic was her lack of updating me and educating me on what was going on. My frustration mounted when she walked away for the 4th time during our transaction to handle something else. She kept coming back asking if it worked??? If what worked??? Ma'am I don't understand what the hell is wrong or why this phone is not processing my apple id login. She lacked effort and engagement and in that moment I did not have the patience as I was already anxious that I had just invested such a large amount into a telephone for my business -- so to not have proper communication and education from this associate made my experience even worse. As much as I love Apple products I am not well versed in troubleshooting the devices. To add to this situation when I shared my concerns with the manager he was just as unprofessional and attempted to discuss the matter with me and the associate I had concerns with--which only escalated the situation. 1) Engage your customers let them know that you are sorry there is no work around on your end even if it's not your fault 2) don't entertain and engage your friends more than the person you are working with 3) Use every opportunity to educate your customer and CLEARLY COMMUNICATE to diffuse an already INCONVENIENT situation. The associate even said I was being nasty because I was providing my concerns and complaint. NO feedback doesn't have to be nasty. I wasn't even offered a darn BAG to carry my 1k phone out in. The online experience was fine -- this in store pick up experience was HORRIBLE totally took away from the experience of purchasing a new device. The manager and associate both failed this one big time and attempted to make me as a customer look bad. Sad. I will never be back to that location. Perhaps I was treated this way because I am an authorized user on this account or because they weren't getting a commission on this transaction. Sad altogether. Makes me want to cancel and return this product go elsewhere. I still have 14 days to do so. read more

Ask for Mark! Mark was able to accommodate to my and both my parent's needs so well. My mother and father are not technically savvy at all and we needed to convert my dad who was basically using a JitterBug phone, to an iPhone. Mark was so patient and helping with my dad and my mom who was upgrading from a work iPhone 5 to a personal iPhone 6. He was very personable, cherry, and always had a smile. I don't often write positive reviews on places I go unless they truly had an impact on me and the person whom I worked with was just a model employee. That is Mark. My parents walked in with a swamp and frustrated attitude after going to an "AT&T" store up the street in Cranbrook, they didn't know which way was North, so it was refreshing that we were well taken care of here and by Mark. read more

Sherry at the AT & T kiosk store claimed to be an AT & T store and told us that we could make returns or exchanges at any AT & T store location. I learned the hard way that this was a lie and their store is actually called Airtime Wireless and not directly associated with the AT & T company, regardless of the large logo they display. I expect these underhanded sales tactics at a flee market or state fair, but not at a repectable shopping center like Towsontown. read more
