I had already told him that my mom had passed the 2nd of march. That my brother is homeless. Now, how am i goin to get these devices??? Wonder if the owner of this store knows how stupid his manager is that does not know the difference between warranty and insurance. I was having problems with my phone and in stead of trying to help me tried to sell me a hotspot and told me to lie to Assurion and tell them I dropped my phone in water. Like is he going to pay my deductible???? we made an appointment at this store. checked in at exactly our appointment time. several others walked in after us as "walk ins" on the board. we waited and waited while those others were being helped before us. after 35 we asked and we told sorry and that the next associate would be with us. several others finished with other customers and walked to the back and never came back out. after nearly 1 hour we left and went to Best Buy and had a new phone in less than 15 minutes. I would give no stars if I could. Complete rant about the AT&T store on Lawrence Road in Wichita Falls! (Review says I'm in Ft. worth but I live in Wichita Falls). Our son went in February to change our plan to a business one. We have six lines on there, three iPads and a watch. They are completely incompetent. They didn't get everything switched over the first day my son was there because the guy needed to work on it. My son spent over five hours there with them and they said they would get the lines changed over and contact him when it was done! He was never contacted. He went back in there and they had the store manager working on it and said they would update us again and that never happened. The first month after all of this they gave us a credit and didn't charge us for the new lines that were switched because we were already charged on our old account. This month we received an over $1000 phone bill on our old account and the plans had been completely changed up! And a $364 phone bill on the new account. They are double charging us! We absolutely are not paying $1000!! Total incompetence by employee that helped him and the store manager. I am beyond mad!! read more

I have been with at&t for over 20 years. I decided to get my device unlocked. Went online, got the process taken care of, and got my unlock code. I then went to the local at&t store to see if they would help me out. ALL I needed from them was to put in a blank sim card for all of a second, and then for my sim card to be replaced. They refused to budge. Not only would they NOT help me, they said if I contacted customer service, it would take 48 hours to get it through. NO WAY I said, then I asked where the nearest T-Mobile shop was, of course they did not know, as they were at&t. Then they said, "thanks for stopping by", I replied, "Yeah, My Mistake". Never in my life have I been treated with such disdain and disrespect. I went to the T-Mobile store a few blocks away, and without blinking an eye, they said YES, and I was done and happy in 2 minutes. I will now think about switching carriers, due to the malfeasance of the local AT&T shack. I do not do business with incompetent people. read more

My husband and I went into the AT&T store today because we had a new phone to activate and needed to move an existing phone to another line. Veronica, the service tech that helped us, was awesome. She made the process seamless. She was organized and efficient. She answered all of our questions without making us feel stupid for asking them. She took her time and never rushed us. We have always gone to that store and have always had good service, Veronica went that extra mile and that is what customer service should be all about. read more

I lived in Wichita Falls, TX for 5 years. I have never had good customer service at this store. I wanted to surprise my son with a new upgrade, (a $900 phone). He is authorized on my account, knows my passcode, has the email confirmation, and a driver license to prove the same last name. But AT&T ran my Credit card several times so BOA declined the pre paid payment. When I called AT&T store, the woman who answered the phone says that even if he could pick up the phone, he would not have been able to without my credit card. So I can't buy a gift for my son to pick up at the store? I live 4000 miles away! So no more AT&T store, we will shop for our phones at Best Buy!!! The customer service is rude. I'd give ZERO stars if I could. The short, middle aged, brunette that works there should be fired. She's got a HORRIBLE attitude and even worse customer service skills. My boyfriend and I went in to discuss his bill. We went in and gave her his name and sat down. She came over to help us and my boyfriend said "I'm trying to figure out the charges on my account" she immediately copped an attitude. She was very snippy and cut us off every time we tried to explain to her what we had done and just kept repeating herself saying that it was his fault. Then she just said "well you can call 611 to figure it out." ARE. YOU. KIDDING. ME?! We came to this store to get ASSISTANCE from you. It's your job! So we left. My boyfriend was ready to just switch to Sprint after this. But instead we called AT&T corporate to figure things out and the girl we spoke to on the phone was awesome. She told us the girl at the store could have helped us by doing the same thing she did. So to the management at this store, this woman apparently doesn't care about her job or your customers so I recommend giving her some serious training or finding an employee that gives a damn. I was highly frustrated switching from sprint to AT&T and for someone who is not well versed on the communication and requirements of switching devices. Both devices were paid off and the rep did tell me information to help assist me. But he did not go above and beyond or call tech support to give me a next course of action. This was my second visit to this store and i understand social distancing but they acted as if there was nothing they can do. Low and behold i got more help calling customer service. Treated very short and dry by my helper. I understand its the holiday season, they're are just as stressed as the rest of us, that's understandable. However I've been a bartender for 4 years and have to deal with good and bad drunks all the time yet I don't ever recall acting in the manner this woman did. First, the wait time of an hour and a half to finally be helped is annoying but understandable and I don't base my review on that but this is a overall review so theres that. Secondly, when dealing with my helper I presented her my issue with my iPhone 8, she advised me saying there was nothing they could do and i would have to directly contact Apple. There's not issue with that, but here's my problem.... I could have acted less annoyed than i did, admittedly, but its not like i burst on this woman or chewed her out. I expressed my annoyance for the fact that I had just got this new phone 2 weeks ago before Christmas. I asked for advice on what phone would be good, they suggested the 8. I asked what issues did the 8 have (as all iphones have initial problems) they said no..... Google "iPhone 8" and the most searched result is issues. I wont get into to much but screens not working, complete shutdown, home button becoming inactive, battery's heating up expanding and blowing up the phones..... None of this was brought to my attention. I even asked the worker if I had issues would i return to them? He responded by yes within the first month of purchase I could return it to them and they would handle it. I even bought the insurance and warranty with the phone yet somehow that employ was wrong. My issue is I specifically asked if anything had been reported wrong with the 8 and he said no and then fed me false information, probably in order to complete the sale with me idk, I don't trust this place and their employees. Lets end this by stating (and IDK if it is true) I took the phone to geeksquad at bestbuy and "the cellphone guys" both places implied that the phone was a refurbished phone. Meaning not brand new, meaning they "possibly" sold me a refurbished iPhone 8 with the presentation of it being "BRAND NEW" Lastly, this happens EVERYTIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I go in for a phone upgrade or info or whatever. EVERY SINGLE TIME THEY CHANGE MY PLAN! We are grandfathered with a plan we got back in the early days of AT&T and no matter how much we say "we would like to keep our old plan, don't change us" they change us. Every single time, pretending they didn't know or trying to be sly. You know the worst part about it? They have left it on our bill the past 3 times (in a span of 4 months with me and my family going in and changing phones). So they change our plan against our decision, charge us when we use the data that we are supposed to already have for free, and then fake apologize when I/they come in the next day and demand they fix it. "but sir we have some new plans, would you like to hear about them,?" NO i wouldn't, stop being sleezy and actually help the customers with 100% authenticity. THANK YOU! So 3 days ago I bought the Samsung S6 "ACTIVE" from AT&T. I bought this phone due to my active life style and today the screen cracked while it was in my pocket with out being dropped (under INSURANCE) . I've been a customer with them for almost 8 yrs and the they told me there was nothing they could do for me. Even better, I contacted SAMSUNG, it's been 3 days and they told me that any physical damage voids the warrenty . So much for customer service. read more
