While their website booking was down, I called in and was able to book an appointment within 2 days. Google Maps takes you to the right place - it's a small parking lot. Inside is a bright and welcoming lobby. My eye exam went smoothly and Dr. Nguyen showed me the images of my Meibomian glands, which indicated that I had a stye in both my upper and lower eyelids. No wonder the swelling was so bad... I was sold on a special moist eye compress mask and did not purchase any frames or lenses during my visit as I had to get back to work. The eye compress price was comparable to Amazon's. The office staff were even considerate enough to give me some sun filters after the dilation for my drive home as I'd forgotten my sunglasses. Overall, a very pleasant visit, about an hour and some change because of the dilation time for a new patient. Would come back again!

The optometrist was great; I enjoyed chatting with her, and she seemed thorough in the exam. A week after receiving my glasses, I started experiencing neck pain. I noticed I was forcing my neck in awkward and painful positions to see out of my new glasses, mostly during driving and watching tv. But then something else happened. I noticed one of the lenses was loose so I got out my old glasses to inspect (I can't see small screws without glasses). The screw was loose so I tightened it. Then a few days later, the screw was loose again. And then the next week, and so forth. So now i'm stuck with a pair of glasses that require weekly screw tightening. i'm pretty sure they gave me the glasses from the display case as I see no other reason that a brand new pair of glasses would already require weekly screw tightening. I will not return to Today's Vision. I should have stuck to my OG eye doctor, but Today's Vision is convenient to my home. Side note: the sunglasses work well Editor's note: the gucci glasses didn't even fit in the case they provided which should have been the first red flag

This was arguably the worst experience I've had trying to communicate with a doctor and facility. Do not go here unless you have a lot of free time to argue and have multiple appointments to make sure they listen to you. In retrospect, there are a few places things fell apart. 1) The appointment. I realized later the doctor never asked me for my old prescription. He also did an exam and then lectured me about how I'm going to need glasses for astigmatism and seemed to be amused and joking about me getting old. When I pick up my prescription for glasses and contacts they are way off. It took me a week or so to realize (because I generally trust my doctors) but after dizzy spells I realized he had prescribed me a significant jump over my existing prescription which has not only stayed the same for two decades, I had worked with my last eye doctor to lower my prescription bc of headaches due to being on screens for the whole day. I came back in for another exam and he didn't apologize or say anything other than to change my prescription after he verified he was way off the first time. Not that I asked for compensation but nothing was offered. 2) The ordering/ front desk. Nice people but they are wholly disconnected from their customers. After my lens prescription was corrected I asked multiple times to ensure the glasses were changed too. I was assured by the woman up front as well as the guy who makes the lenses that they would be. When I came back again (we are now on our third visit) they were not only wrong, they used the wrong type of lens. The tech could not explain why he did that but just took them back and said he'd fix them. I reminded him again at that time to make sure the prescription was updated bc they were wrong. Fourth visit. Guess what? Lenses are correct but prescription is wrong again. Yet again no explanation and no apologies let alone any sort of offer to compensate or rectify for my time. Just another "well come back again" 3) Related, my parents had a similar experience. The condescending doctor didn't listen to my mother and gave her glasses that made her dizzy. She doesn't speak up as much as I do so she just kept them and didn't use them until she got them corrected elsewhere. I have no words for the level of terrible experience I had here. I simply do not have time in my day for this level of incompetence. After that last appointment I just didn't bother. I have a pair of $400 glasses I can't wear sitting in my drawer and I'm glad we are finally on a new year so I can find a competent eye doctor.

The eye exam was definitely longer than any I had previously had and there were many more questions to answer. I stumbled across this place quite by accident. I had gone to a few eye places and gotten exams and prescriptions and things were okish. The thing is I used to really love reading and with all the glasses I had previously I just would get tired fast and something just wasn't the same (as it turned out the clarity could be so much better). Its easy enough to book your exam and the staff does a great job of answering any questions and helping out during your visit. And while I highly value great customer service - if the product isn't great its just not as good. I LOVE my glasses - they gave me back my ability to read like I used - they gave me back my love of reading. If you need an eye exam or know you need a new pair of glasses - this is where I would highly recommend going if you are in Houston and the surrounding areas its worth the trip!

She is also very passionate on helping myopia treatment for the young kids. It's hard to find a doctor that can do it all and this one is the one. I don't have kids but I'm going to have to tell my friends.
