Maria and her team are very compassionate and supportive. During a difficult time, they made the crossing of my cat Minou over the rainbow bridge very meaningful and sacred. I found Dr. Kuty's (Maria) company the day Minou showed me signs that he was ready to sleep forever - I looked them up on Maps and their company was the first to show with nothing but perfect feedback. I sent them an email first, it was a Sunday and at around 5 am, I received a response. I called them and although I was on hold for a while, I eventually spoke to someone who was nothing but supportive and compassionate. Never did I feel judged or hurried. We recently had to make that very difficult decision about our 12 year old dog Jake. He went downhill very fast so we had no time to process and it was New Year's Eve too. Their services were amazing. They came out the next day, gave us plenty of time with Jake, allowed all our other pets to be present so they could say goodbye, explained every single step to us, and carried him out in a special bed with a blanket and pillow. They even made sure he was facing forward in the car and not at the back of the seat. They gave him so much love, attention and dignity, which made it a little easier for us. Dr Kuty was the most sweet and compassionate Vet I've ever encountered. We needed to put our ginger boy down after 18 lovely years. The in-home euthanasia experience that Dr Kuty provided for us was such a blessing. Our little baby got to have a peaceful and stress-free transition, which also helped to make it a peaceful process for us. Dr Kuty was very sweet and professional, and accommodating. She was so gentle with administration of the first injection that my little guy hardly even noticed the poke. She was also amazingly caring with her emotional support for us throughout the process. Helping us feel at ease, unrushed, and reassured. She was very flexible with our set up as well, my baby really wanted to be in the garden, so Dr Kuty easily adjusted and was able to administer the injection in the outdoor setting. So the last conscious moments of my fur baby's life was of being in one of his favorite places, eating one of his favorite foods, feeling safe surrounded by his mommy, daddy and a really nice lady (Dr Kuty). Once he was unconscious, we brought him inside and we were able to hold him in our arms as Dr gave the final injection and he passed away being held in our arms. Our baby had always loved to be cuddled, this was quite fitting for him. What Dr Kuty provides is truly wonderful an has made the grieving process much easier knowing that our baby didn't experience any pain or fear in his last moments. Dr..Maria Kuty was very good with my elderly dog, Franco, and me. She took her time with us, gave him a handful of his treats...he was so busy with that that he didn't even realize she was sticking the sedative needle into his scruff. I laid a puddle pad over my lap - and his blankie that had come to me with him (he was a rescue) over that. When he was so sleepy he couldn't stand anymore, Maria put him on my lap - it was like old times when he used to lay across my lap, which he hadn't done for a long time - I presume because his arthritis made it to painful. It was very peaceful and nice and, when he was fast asleep, she shaved his leg and put in the last bit - and even bandaged his little leg afterward. He went fast and peacefully. We left him there for several minutes -- until I was ready for her to take him. When I felt ready, she took her med bag to her car and came back in with a cute little basket -- with padding in the bottom, took away the little pad she had brought to wipe away a dab of poo that had come out, tossed that then wrapped him in his blankie and placed him in the basket....he looked like a little baby in a bassinette -asleep and covered all but his head. As she carried him to her car she reiterated that he (his ashes) would be in the redwoods, along with other cremains. I had a picture of all of them - back in fine fettle and playing together as friends. I feel so fortunate to have found Maria. Dr Maria Kuty was such an empathetic person through the end-of-life service for my 21 year old cat Chewy. His limbs stopped working then was diagnosed with a brain tumor and detoriated over a period of 72 hours. I called Maria the morning at 5am when I could see Chewy was not responding to attention or food. She rushed out the same day to accomodate the urgent need. When she arrived she came into where Chewy was and we talked about his life, some memories and his diagnosis. She showed extreme care and patience to not rush us through the process.
