During Covid, I took my dog to a vet, and the vet wouldn't allow me inside. But Brody started to hate vets, even though he goes to the groomers and stands there for 4-5 hours peacefully. Even under sedation he would snarl and rip the muzzle off. Super stressful for me and for my dog. Dr. Park just came and examined him and gave 5 vaccines and he was off leash inside my home and was calm and happy the whole time. She also brought special treats to distract him. Choosing to help your dog cross the rainbow bridge is an awful experience but Dr. Park made it the best it could be for us. Twelve years ago we were in a catastrophic situation with our high anxiety dog and were in a rush to find a vet to euthanize her at home that day. That vet was awful and really tainted the experience. So, this time around I had some anxiety about finding the right vet to help us. Dr. Park made scheduling easy, was a calm presence and was very respectful of the situation. She explained the process so my child could understand and quietly did her job while we ushered our girl to the other side.
