Their items are extremely over priced. You can find the same items that are new at Home Goods in Sacramento/Roseville or even our local TJ Maxx. Craigslist is also a great source. The store is advertised "Nu2u" (New 2 u) but the prices are not that of a consignment store/ second hand store. Especially painted furniture and outdated sofas, oak and iron furniture that they are asking $$$. If you are under 40 this is not the store for you. I have found cheaper items at Pottery Barn! I highly doubt we will be coming in again. Also the handmade ("Can only park here 30 min") sign they have taped to a chair isn't legal. That should have been our first warning sign.

The item had been marked down from 2 days ago. I DIDN'T CARE! It was an even exchange. Pull your head out and use some common sense! The really wonderful part? They wanted to scan my driver's license! FOR WHAT? Because they needed to prove that I wasn't someone trying to scam them. Say, what? I am very happy to take my business to Kohl's or Ross. I spent over $200 in the store in the last few days but I will betcha that Kohl's won't have a problem taking it. I love little shops like this! BAPA's has something for everyone. Not only is it a mini grocery store, but it also has lots of gift options, local goods, and other odds and ends. I found many things I wanted, but not much I needed. It's that kind of place. The young gentleman working was super nice and asked me if I had any questions about anything as I browsed. They also have some ready-to-eat goods, BAPA's merchandise, and coffee. If you are visiting the shopping center, be sure to stop into BAPA's Market. It's worth checking out!

My favorite are the ones that look like giant bare footprints! On our last visit the owner was mentioning how times have been hard due to the economy and fuel prices, people just aren't traveling past as much...stop by and pay him a visit--I want them to stay open so I can pick up a gargoyle fountain next! Two cats in the bedroom which i didnt move thinking theyd be fine where they were. The delivery people got done but made a VERY SLOW EXIT. One cat escaped like it had been shot out of a canon. Other cat behind a nightstand not moving. Was it dead? No...but what the heck happened to my cats?! Bottom line -- merchandise OK. Delivery process sucked! You, as a consumer, can NOT directly contact the delivery crew and neither can the store. They can only contact the delivery company. My cat is STILL missing after all most 2 months! My suggestion -- buy bedding elsewhere with a more " open communication" policy.
