This was my first time visit at, AT HOME store. Huge selections ranging from wall decor, wall art, dishes, patio furnishings, accent chairs, garden vases and much more! I found a ladle holder, which had a minor scratch. The manger offered to give me 10% off when he was doing a price check. Perfect find! The store is clean, organized and service is good. Large parking lot. Located by Kohl's so you can make an extra shopping stop there as well. read more

I will never order from At Home again or recommend anyone to order from At Home. The product arrived damaged, and I can't even make a return online. Had I wanted to go to the store in person I would have in the first place. I excitedly stopped by Saturday at 11, after getting their email touting a week of big black Friday deals starting that day. I was hoping to get some faux fir garland, and the night before their site showed there were a number of styles available in-store. Sadly, the aisles were largely stripped bare, like the toilet paper aisle in March of 2020. Maybe don't advertise a sale you don't have the stock for? I have stopped in At Home a handful of times. The store is very large and has lots of merchandise, but I have yet to find something to purchase. There is a large variety, but the merchandise seems cheap and reminds me if an outlet store. For the most part the items are organized by category, i.e kitchen, garden, etc. read more

Earlier today i ventured into at home, looking for the most splendid gift for my mother, when a plump old employee confronted me and my school peers and asked us to for no apparent reason to leave the store. We had just entered one minute prior and had just just started contemplating a pillow would be the right gift forsaid mother. While being extremely rude and disrespectful to me and my Hispanic friend. The employee had the audacity to suggest that we were shoplifters just because of the color of our skin. The store itself is fine and the in-store manager tried to be as helpful as possible. However, if you have a problem with furniture, you have to deal with their customer service which only uses email. There is no phone number to contact them.. they will argue with you every step of the way , not respond to direct questions in your email, refuse to pick up furniture they delivered , and refuse to refund you. I would stay away from purchasing any furniture you'd be unable to return yourself. read more

I am surprised by some of these more negative reviews! My wife and I always enjoy shopping in the Elmhurst store. Huge aisles with MANY options. They don't carry everything but they do carry a lot of items. So pillows or rugs, for example: many aisles with so many colors and styles. Enormous selections! The customer service was great they were transparent and knowledgeable. We have been searching online and at local outlets and wholesale stores we even went to RH, pottery barn, and Z gallery for some upscale items and this place is one of the best places for balanced prices for pretty quality things. Not everything is good quality but most of the things we were interested in were. The staff were accommodating with holding and worked with us well. We are spending far less than we originally planned and the place just felt right. We felt stressed in all the other furniture stores and the pieces just didn't look modern enough and as soon as we started looking around AtHome it felt like the perfect fit. Stopped in for the first time on Sunday. The store was a MESS merchandise all over the floor and shelves very sloppy. Prices seemed very high in my opinion compared to places like Hobby Lobby and Pier One. I did decide to purchase one item. There was a very long line of customers waiting. We stood in line for over 20 minutes, when we got to the register the lady handling our transaction told us that they take people off the registers to put unwanted merchandise back in the store even when there are long lines Clearly not a customer focused business. This place is HUGE! I wasn't sure what to expect the first time I walked in here but once I was in here I was pleasantly surprised with how many things they have. You can literally walk around for ever in here and find so many things. What I didn't like is that the place is somewhat organized. I'm not sure if it's just people that move things around or if this is how it's meant to be. Also, there is always a line since they pretty much always only have one cashier on hand. The staff isn't very friendly either, they look like they barely even want to be there. So don't expect great customer service when you come here. If you're looking for something specific though, you're likely to find it here since they do have a good variety of things. So all in all, I guess this is a pretty mixed review! read more

Bought about $700 worth of product here and loved the store. I got a coupon a week later and so went in to get a price adjustment. I live in Chicago btw so made a special trip the manager said he wouldn't adjust the price.....It was going to be about $100 savings with the coupon which is pretty big. So I asked him if he was really going to make me go find all the stuff rebuy it and return it. To which he replied yep that be the only way. I live in Batavia and tried to purchase an outdoor lawn furniture set. The person at my Batavia At Home said that she couldn't help me and couldn't check inventory in any other store. I then went to the store in Elmhurst, was able to purchase the furniture. Jacob was kind enough to help me bring it to my car and load it. He was kind, considerate and so very helpful. read more

YES!!!! This place is AWESOME!!! Especially the staff!! My friend and I were in there on 9-20-2019 and my friend was looking for these 3 Christmas Gnomes that were advertised on the AT HOME website for in Elmhusrt, IL as being IN STOCK. We looked all over the store and where they should have been and we could not find them. My friend was saddened because they weren't there. We stopped a sale associate by the name of ROSA and asked her about the Gnomes. Rosa pulled out a gadget and typed in the Gnome Item number from the website and the device showed that the store did have 3 of them still in stock. She then explained to us that they will end up on the main table in front of store in SEASONAL but there was no room to put them at the moment because other Fall-Like items (Thanksgiving and Halloween) were still occupying the table. She said told us not to worry because the Gnomes were still packed in boxes on pallets in the storeroom and if we could give her a few minutes then she would go and get them. We said yes we will wait and within a few minutes ROSA came back out with the box of Gnomes and said she will have them waiting for us at the checkout counter. My friend and I both agree that this is what beautiful customer service is all about. Most employees at other stores would not have bothered to go back in the storeroom and get those Gnomes. Interior designers and homeowners will drool over this gorgeous and beautiful deep discount home store! The store is large, bright, and airy. It offers a wide variety of amazing home items such as sofas, chairs, dining sets, rugs, lamps and so much more! I truly felt like I was walking in a designer showroom with their dazzling home displays with crisp rich colors, expert design, and ingenious furniture pairings. I heard from an employee that this store had opened last Wednesday, but when I entered there were quite a few people that had already learned about my new favorite, secret hideaway. I could literally live in this store where you have the ability to try out the couches, chairs, dining sets, etc. The prices can't be beat too. This store is definitely comparable to the home sections of TJ Maxx and Marshalls, but offers a broader and more defined range of products. They even had a Christmas area with a tree section that looked like an illuminated forest. I mean where else can you find an ombre tree whose colors range from white, gray, and black? We visited the store in Elmhurst on a Sunday. This was our first time going to this store. It's big and offers everything you need for your home. I would say 97% of the items are way overpriced. However, we were able to find a patio table on clearance, 75% off. This was a great deal and we were very excited to be able to get it for such a great price. We waited in the long line and paid for it. We told the store manager we would be back on Tuesday, they said no problem. But when we went to pick it up, THEY SOLD IT!!! They sold a product that was not for sale!! They had no explanation as to why this happened, and didn't really seem to care that we wasted our time renting a truck, getting there only to be told it was sold. Then we were advised to call around to the other 50 stores to see if maybe they had one. But you can't purchase over the phone and they won't ship it. Seriously!!! Saving grace was they offered us a store credit. They half-assed wrote on a receipt, but of course didn't put the amount. Guess $5,000 should do it for our experience. Horrible horrible customer service. This store NEVER answers the phone either. EVER. Forget trying to get a hold of someone. It's an empty void. Avoid shopping at the Elmhurst store. read more

AT HOME STORE IN ELMHURST.....ABSOLUTELY WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I purchased a patio table at AT HOME ELMHURST costing $418.81 & within a short time it started warping & causing slivers. I spoke to the Store Manager Mike who turned me over to his Assistant Manager I believe named Steve and he would generate an e-mail to Corporate explaining my situation. Waited 1 week called back Mike & was advised I should send my own follow-up e-mail as they do not give out Corporate's phone number. I asked for the phone number to Cardiff Industries & was advised the didn't do business with them anymore & did not have a contact number. Interesting... Since then I have called 4 times & my calls go directly to voicemail with no call back. It has been an month since initial contact & not 1 return phone call or e-mail communication has been received.
