I LOVE all At Home stores! They have such a great selection of holiday decor for every season. This location was no exception. I also love the Little Dreamers children's section with fun pillows and stuffies. I absolutely had to buy a beautiful floral rug that was labeled for indoor/outdoor. I have a really small front porch so I couldn't use it there, however, it looks beautiful in my sunroom. If it gets dirty it says to hose it off! It's so bright and cheery and it makes me so happy! read more

I am sending a Gigantic Way To Go" to the "At Home SuperStore" in Mesquite,TX! Let me first say, I have been shopping at this location for many years, every since it first opened! This particular location has gone through several management changes and staff and the store has always looked unkempt when I visited! Things were consistently off shelves and on the floor, the Wall Art section, Bedding and Floral sections were forever messy! Also, whenever items in the store were "marked down" you had to search hard to find them, and when you did, they were usually damaged or just thrown on a shelf somewhere! Well, fast forward to yesterday 07/07/2022, I hadn't been here in a while, and decided to go look for some decorating ideas for a bathroom remodel that I'm planning. When I walked in the store, it just felt different! I noticed how very clean and organized the front of the store was! I started walking on the right side of the store going up and down each aisle and the "clean and organized" theme was still going on!! I was honestly, and so pleasantly surprised at the new look this location has taken on. Needless to say, I made my way around the entire store in about 1hr 1/2, and every department, including the Wall Art section (my favorite) looked absolutely beautiful! I even noticed that they now put actual "mark down" stickers on reduced merchandise(which I did see an employee doing) and shelve them in a very easy to find way! All the staff I saw were working busily, no one standing around and how nice it was to see no "personal cell phones" being used( which happens at many places these days)! I didn't buy anything at this time, but I made it my business to seek out the night manager (Ms. Christina) to let them know how wonderful everything looked and what a great job they are doing!! So to Store Manager: Linda, the Store Director: Daniel and all the staff at the Mesquite At Home Superstore, I say, "Thanks for Stepping Up Your Game, and making this location a joy to shop, and I'll definitely be returning to purchase my remodeling items!!! Garden Ridge is a good store for anything home related. Here you can find anything from home decor, artwork, rugs, bedding, party supplies, lamps, kitchen articles, pots, pans, anything "as seen on tv", and craft projects. They have both indoor and outdoor furniture and lawn orniments. Come Christmas time, this is the place to go for just about anything to throw on a tree or around a house to put you in the spirit. Horrific customer service, I searched FOREVER to find somebody to help me carry huge items, and it was impossible. The girl at check out spoke very ghetto and unprofessional. The guy helping me seemed "really really out of it", it was like talking to a wall. I had to ask for everything, he took no initiative. "Can you help me?" "Can you this/can you that?" when any other store would have just simply done their job. Really pathetic employee selection. Sad. read more

I do not like some of the changes I've noticed here in the last few years, but their prices are still reasonable. We went looking for inexpensive and matching (or at least color-coordinated) comforters for our sons. We found them! $10.00 a piece! Great deal! The lines were long, but moved fairly quickly. The new set-up for the lines does not work for me. Several years ago they created an unfriendly isle of snack foods and "as seen on TV" items that one must travel through to receive these unbelievable prices. We were lucky enough to be stuck behind a guy in a wheel chair (nice guy but he was trying to keep up with an unruly kid and the others with them paid no attention unless he yelled at them to get the kid. -FRUSTRATING!), and an elderly lady that obviously does not get out of the house much because EVERYTHING on that isle fascinated her! UGH This isle took away at least 1 1/2 stars for this location. Be careful what you purchase because many items have no returns or return for store credit only. read more

I love this store! They have a new flash sale every week that is always a great steal. The store is huge and always very well taken care of. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. I have both everything from picture frames, pillows, sheets to treat containers. I have never had a problem with anything that I have ever bought here. read more

Some of the coolest, funkiest treasures I've ever seen were here. And the prices are awesome. Was shopping for fake flowers to place on family graves, and caught a great sale, 50% off spring flowers. My friend also has been looming everywhere for the perfect countertop barstools for his new place. He got a great deal of $60 each for the three chairs he fell in love with! Great store,with very good prices! Highly recommend for those looking to decorate on a budget! Only complaint is that they don't keep their motorized buggies charged up, as I am disabled and require such to walk a large store. read more

I got all of my wedding decor here. The prices are unbelievable and you can find absolutely anything! I chose to have silk flowers for my wedding and they were so realistic that my friend chose to get hers there too! Garden Ridge sucks! They used to have tons of great craft stuff with a mixture of cool decorative accessories. Now they don't even carry basic items like hot glue sticks! Their new buyers are horrible. Not to mention the fact that you have to go to the cashier to ask where anything is because no one is ever around. The worst customer service I've ever seen. They were very rude and unwilling to help me get the dining table I purchased into my van. So there I stood in the parking lot in the sweltering heat with two little kids AND PREGNANT by myself praying that someone would drive by and ask if I need help. If it hadn't been for the random kind person in the parking lot that offered help I never would have gotten it in my car. I will NEVER be back and I am making sure I tell everyone I know to do the same!!!!! They should be ashamed. read more

DON'T TRY TO GET INFO FROM THEIR WEBSITE OR BY PHONE.... I've been into Garden Ridge a number of times and like the store's wide selection and prices. I don't much care for the look of the store, but I guess when you're trying to sell on the cheap you have to compromise somewhere. I was looking for a patio umbrella and hit the Internet before hitting the road. Went to Garden Ridge's website - what a joke! It did show a couple patio umbrellas and prices, but no info, specs, customer reviews, nada! So I called the Mesquite store. They have a nice auto attendant that gives you several choices (store hours, directions, product info, etc). I tried product info and a very nice recorded voice told me there isn't any product info available on any of their products. I tried 0 for operator, but was informed that's an invalid entry. There's NO WAY to actually talk to someone at the store without getting in your car and driving there. I'll shop elsewhere... read more

This store really just needs a 101 customer service class. Employees are basically hiding from customers. I was buying 20 packs of Christmas lights and needed help getting the ones on the top. When I finally saw a lady and called out to her..I was approaching her in the aise and she turned the other way and walked fast! I was in line at the mesquite store today.... 4 people were in line ... 2 cashiers ... 1 cashier got through in front of me and I stepped up to pay and she just walked out the front door of the store... didn't say anything to me .... it was the rudest thing I've ever experienced... Be careful! They sell very low quality products and then hide behind 90 days return policy! I bought rugs from the store. After few weeks, I noticed white powder residue under the rugs. I vacuumed them 10s of times. Nothing helps. New residue comes off the rugs every few days. They refused refund because I found the problem after 90 days. read more

I will never ever step foot in Garden Ridge ever again. I was moving out to Terrell, Tx. The closest Garden Ridge is in Mesquite. My mother in law went there first, spent quite a bit working on her bedroom. So then she told me and we went back. We spent almost 300 dollars on bedding, pillows, decorative pillows, and pictures. When I got home, I finished painting and a few days later I got the comforter out, put it on the bed and noticed a lot of loose threading, one small rip. I figured it was not so bad. (not happy, but eh) I go to put it onto the bed, and straighten it and the whole side rips open. By that point, I am wondering what a cheap POS I bought. I spent 60 or 70 on just a comforter and 4 pillow cases. No sheets or anything. I am like crap. So we bundle the stuff back in the truck, but in the moving, we lost the receipt. ... Ugh. So we print the credit statement (paid with a debit card), with time, date and cost of purchase and took it back up there. The sticker and stuff, still said Garden Ridge as well. So I take it in. A VERY rude lady, possibly a manager? Said she could not do a return, without a receipt. We showed her the statement. We asked if with this info, she could pull up the receipt, in the system, like Walmart does. She said no and we cannot help you. I asked her what I am supposed to do? She said she doesn't know and just turned her back on me and went back to looking through another cart. I got mad and told her it was not my fault that I ended up with a cheap POS, with matching decorative pillows, that I now have nothing to go with it. Needless to say, I will never EVER step foot back in that store. Not a single red cent of my money, my mother in law (who had helped purchase my stuff), or anyone else in my family now, as they are all rather infuriated. They could have exchanged it for me. Would have been happy. Would have kept my business, (though more careful with the quality of their stuff) and my families. So I lost a few hundred bucks, they lost long term customers and thousands. read more

I agree with Rob. I believe I left an item at the store, so searched all over the internet for a store phone number. They don't even have a store number listed on their website. When I finally found the store number and called, all that was available was an automated voice saying to use the contact us form on the internet for ALL customer service inquires. There was no live person available to talk to. I believe this is one of the worse customer service options available. A company, retail facility at that, should be available to customers by phone, with a listed phone number on the receipt. I believe I will return all items purchased and never shop there again! read more

My wife and I visited this store Saturday May 27,2017. I needed to use the restroom and found the Men's restroom closed for construction and a hand written sign directing me to outside to the right side of the building. I found a portable trailer for the restroom. It has 3 steps up to get in it. This trailer is not ADA accessible so a physically challenged person has trouble getting in and out. A person in a wheel chair cannot use it. When I opened the door the smell was terrible. The toilet was "LOADED". I tried flushing the toilet but could not flush it. I tried washing my hands but I could not. Water was not turned on to the trailer. You would think a national big box store as At Home is would be concerned about all customers and make the restroom pleasant and accessible to all customers. I told the Lady who checked us out at the register about it and she stated sorry I have not been out there. What happened to customer service? My next email is to the City of Mesquite and Dept. of Justice. read more
