I really liked taking them there even though the price was different every time but when they were done they were put in their own little area with a gate on the front keeping them separate from the big dogs (mine are 14 and 25 lbs). Fast forward a year and they went in for baths only and I picked them up, owner mentions no issues. Get home- go to give my little one belly rubs and he's got cuts and scratches on his belly and I was shocked. I immediately texted Marisol and sent her pictures- the next day she said her bather had jerked when combing him and that's what caused it. Then sent me a pick of the comb used. I have a short hair chihuahua, they used a metal tooth undercoat rake comb. Like you would use on a husky or something. We didn't go back. After some bad experiences at petsmart (not with my dogs but with the groomers that I watched being way to rough with other dogs) my husband said why don't you try bark and paws again? After what happened before surely she will be very careful. So we go back with my dog that was not injured just to test the waters - everything goes ok. Again, the pricing is never the same and I lost my job so I started doing haircuts and bathes at home but still took them there for nails. Everything the other reviews say is true. We went last week- he took them to the back and handed them off to someone- the guy came back with my chihuahua after about 10 min- I went and put him in the car and went back in for my other one. Waited 15 min- watched one dog jump out of gated areas and no one blinked an eye. Then I heard my baby yelping and I thought was that my Morgan? Then she did it again and I hollered out (since there's no one around) if you are having a hard time with her it's ok to stop and bring her to me. No response. Then the guy who seemed to be in charge goes in there and I hear them all having a big discussion in Spanish. I know a little Spanish, enough to understand that the gal cut Morgan into the nail quick several times after that then was trying to get away while she was trying to finish. Well my dog is so laid back - for her to yelp several times and try to get away means you weren't handling her correctly. I guess when we got there and Morgan didn't want to go in and I couldn't even coax my chihuahua out of the car- I had to climb in the back seat and get him from under the seat (which he has never done before) that should have been my hint that it was time to move on. The owner is a very nice lady but she hasn't been there the last 3 times and her employees don't speak English and as far as I can tell aren't trained properly on how to cut nails or what brush to use on a short hair dog. Needless to say- after that visit we will not be going back. What could be a great business has gotten too sloppy since expanding and I hope all of these recent reviews have the owner looking into running her business better.

She charged $35 to trim my dog's nails because he was "challenging". He is the most chilled dog (small dog with small nails) I said, but it's $25 for a nail clipping. (warning: long and detailed)! - The expectations the staff holds for eachother is high, and it is all to ensure that your pet(s) are safe. After the first couple days of working I was sat down and was told about the concerns they had. I took the constructive criticism and not only ran with it, but I took it to heart. Everyone here has the same priority: the care and well-being of the dogs (and cats!). I appreciated the fact that the manager and kennel supervisor made sure I was doing the job the way it was supposed to be done, in order for the dogs to stay safe. - Our dogs are let out ATLEAST four times a day and they are given cold fresh water (with new bowls!) every single morning; water bowls are always kept full. Every single comment/specification/concern an owner has towards any single pet is written on the pet's "Kennel Card" that is placed in the front of the run. For example, if you only feed PM, we will too! If you separate your dogs for feeding time, so will we! We also take care of any medication your dog has, and accommodate any special needs. Any dog that decides to use the bathroom in their run is *immediately* put into a clean one, with water, until their original run is rinsed, foamed, scrubbed, rinsed, squeegeed and towel dried (in that order). They are then placed back inside with clean blankets while their personal items are washed! And yes, no matter how many dogs do this or how many times, we repeat the same process. Cleaning a run in this way is also done after *every* single dog comes and goes. If your dog was in this run for a week, it will be cleaned (even if it was cleaned 3 times already) after you pick him/her up so that the next dog to use the run is safe from any possible illnesses. All of the dogs and cats that come through our doors, are required to show proof of CURRENT and UP-TO-DATE vaccinations in order to keep your babies safe. - As for attitude, we treat everyone with kindness and smiles, and that includes your pets too! Up front is our reception area, where you can find "the littles" (if there are any) behind the counter; these are the small dogs that are either in daycare or boarding. Because of their size, they are only ever socialized with bigger dogs IF they are being under 100% supervision- so no little ones get overwhelmed or hurt. The two areas you see to the right of our computer are daycare play areas- both have outside access. On one of the reviews someone mentioned lack of supervision, but quite honestly we are always watching and listening. Even the slightest sound of unfriendly communication between the dogs is immediately attended to. If a dog relieves itself inside, someone will walk in there with the group [of dogs] to pick up and mop! Daycare dogs are also fence huggers when someone (such as myself) makes a pit-stop to give them some extra loving! ;) In short, every dog or cat that is with us is treated like they are our own. Honestly it would be super common to walk in and hear someone baby-talking your pooch! We want the four-legged family members to be happy, and you as well. Please come by for a visit and check out our place- we can even give you a tour if requested!

They squeezed in our Biscuit for a full groom, and not only did they make it happen, they did the most amazing job! He came out so happy, looking better than he ever has after a groom. The owner and staff went above and beyond, even during such a busy time, and were unbelievably kind and hardworking. I'm pretty picky when it comes to her grooming since she's a long-haired dachshund with a very fluffy coat rather than a traditional drop coat, and I like to keep her looking natural while still cleaned up and shaped nicely. Emilie did an amazing job listening to exactly what I wanted and executed it perfectly! Xena came out looking absolutely beautiful, and I couldn't be happier with her groom. Emilie was also so sweet and made the whole experience great. I'm so happy we found someone we can trust with Xena and will absolutely be back!
