Pick up day and time was March 5th at 5 p.m. He needed it for a wedding out of town on March 7th. Keep in mind that this was only his second time going to this place and ever using a dry cleaning service. Fast forward to the wedding day, there were stains on the sleeve of the dress shirt. Unsure if the stain was there prior. I've attached pictures for reference. My husband had to figure something out minutes before heading out to the wedding. We came home Sunday night, March 8th. My husband went to tell them about the situation on Wednesday, March 11th. He was told that because of how long it's been, they refused to provide any kind of refund. They also questioned why he didn't notify them. It was our fault that we didn't verify when we picked it up, but we trusted that it was properly cleaned. Also, why couldn't they notify us that they couldn't clean the stain? Refund or not, my husband didn't even receive an apology. I believe that was unprofessional as they are providing a service. Definitely would not come back.

On top of that, my cat must have been upset she wasn't invited, because a couple days after we returned home, she had a seemingly intentional accident in very close proximity to the dress. Although the dress was in a bag at the time, both the dress and the veil ended up with a slight odor to them. After that, I decided it was time to look into cleaning options. I had already been to Five Star in the past, so I used the Yelp project feature to reach out to them as well as a few other cleaners in the Sacramento area. They were very responsive and their pricing to clean and preserve the dress was very reasonable, so I decided to go with them. The turnaround time for cleaning was about a week, which is exactly what they estimated. They showed me the dress before it was boxed so I could confirm it was properly cleaned. There were no more mud stains, and the odor was completely gone! After I inspected the dress, they asked me to come back in a day or two after they had time to box it. It was wedding and prom season, so they were a little busy, and I told them I was in no rush to get the dress back. I went back a few days later and picked up a large box. There was an outer, regular, storage box and inside was a large preservation box that had a display window. It looked great! Oh, and to top it all off, I had originally only inquired about cleaning and boxing for the dress, but when I asked how much it would be to add the veil, they included it for free! Thank you!!

Last week, I came on a Wednesday afternoon and requested a Friday return date for 1 dress and they did it. The cost was $15. I even have them dry clean my travel Beis backpack and it comes back looking brand new. WARNING: Parking can be tough sometimes! This plaza is not the biggest but they have a dedicated parking spot just for them so I've been able to snag that front space most of the time but be prepared to park a little farther, especially if you're arriving during lunch time as there's restaurants around.

Instead, I got the suit back covered in gray and black marks throughout the garment. To be clear, I dropped off a suit with one minor issue and got back a suit covered in new ones. I picked it up, drove straight home, and as I was hanging it in my closet I started noticing mark after mark after mark. I immediately called because I was genuinely shocked by what I was seeing. They didn't care! No resolve! What is most frustrating is that nobody mentioned a thing when the suit was returned to me. A white suit covered in dark marks does not magically end up that way after leaving the store. Someone should have noticed. Someone should have said something. $400 and it had been worn once.... I trusted professionals to care for it, and it was returned in significantly worse condition than when I dropped it off. Now I have to take it to another cleaner and hope they can undo whatever happened here because I no longer trust this business to touch the garment again. Take your clothing elsewhere!!

I am a new customer enrolled in weekly laundry pick up service. I am extremely impressed with the service quality as well as their responsiveness to my questions. I had a question about the laundry bags that I sent out and received a reply to my text within minutes. My laundry was picked up and dropped off on time. All of my clothes were neatly folded and all socks were put together with their matches saving a ton of time on matching and putting away in the drawers. I would recommend this service to everyone! Their pricing is reasonable for the value provided and I plan on being a long time customer! They have given me back hours of my time. As a person who works 70-80 hours a week, I cant express how amazing it is to not spend weekends buried in laundry! This place is fantastic. They have a lot of big washers and smaller. Place is reasonably priced and the staff is terrific. Their wash and fold service is $1.50/lbs and a great value. They separate lights and darks, check pockets, stain treat, sanitize, and just do a fantastic job. read more

Yes, there's a vending machine for drinks and snacks too! :) Payment options can either be cash, credit card, and tap to pay. Based on my experience you pay for the wash and drying is free. I only saw when adding special types of drying like anti-wrinkle and another option it was starting at .$25. My Laundry Spot will be my new spot on the monthly for these!

One thing I don't like is that they remove the collar stays on my shirts, ostensibly to launder and iron them. This makes perfect sense, but they don't put them back in! This is not unique to Prestige but can't figure out why this is so hard for cleaners to understand...if you take something out of my shirt, please put it back. And if you can't put it back, can you at least give me the collar stays so I can put them in myself?! Also--in one isolated incident--they charged me extra to try and get the wrinkles out of a seersucker shirt. I would have expected that a company that specializes in fabrics and fabric item care would know that seersucker fabric is BY DESIGN puckered and rough...but no amount of ironing is going to remove it! Mike called and says he doesn't see anything and that I am making things up and they would not refund me or compensate for the damaged shirt. He proceeded to say this has always been their policy to not pay for damaged garments. I quote "we are not up to your standards don't bring us your white shirts".... My standard being, don't damage a brand new shirt and then not take responsibility. At one point Mike told me to return it to Macy's. Unethical business practices. When I show up in-person to speak with Mike he changes his tune and admits to now being able to see the marks! But they won't do anything further to replace the shirt. I have been going here for 4 years and have never had to bring back a single item to be cleaned again. I would suggest to anyone who cares about their professional or delicate clothing to avoid this group as they do not take responsibility for their mistakes and based on other reviews I am not the first.
