Assumed without communicating with her patient. Another doctor that expects their patient to be honest with them, while they are not. I will be finding a new GI, one that actually has concern for her patients rather than just another one on the books. Making ASSumptions about a patients life is how you lose patients. Absolutely disgusted by her behavior. Not professional. Her clinical notes are not only ignorant, they are blatantly WRONG. If she would have brought it up with me, we could have communicated about my past 15+ years in chronic pain with countless failed treatments and we could have resolved it. Instead, she did not ask questions about my past medical history, she marks her assumptions down on my paperwork without even acknowledging it with me. Shameful for a health professional to behave in such a manor. Doctors like her are the reason I audio record all appointments. It's their word against theirs. If I'm paying more than $300 for a doctor visit, they better be doing their dang job and doing it well!! Doctor and patient are supposed to be a team. What else am I paying you for?! I've been yanked around the medical system for over a decade. I do not and will not put up with self-righteous "doctors" such as Julie Turner. Medical marijuana is the only thing that remotely gives me an appetite. if she would have asked I could have told her that the medical marijuana is for the 16+ years in chronic pain with countless failed treatments, therapy included, she would have know that her assumption was ignorantly wrong. She needs to go back to school, it's pitiful when the former patient knows more than the former doctor. I wanted a dentist who cares about the health of my teeth as much as I do. I wanted a dentist office that is friendly and welcoming. I found all of that in Brooks Family Dentistry! My dental health has been in the hands of Dr. Brooks for several years now and I am a very happy client. I have a gum issue with a capped tooth and I can say it's in better health right now than it has been for years. My husband goes here as well as I wouldn't let him stay with a previous dentist that was all about their bottom line regardless of what is in the best interest of the patient. When Dr. Murphy, always very professional, came into do the surgery he asked me to put my knee down and lay still. I mentioned I had sciatica and VICTOR the anesthesiologist said and I quote " I have something to fix that." Next thing I know I have a terrible burning in my hand and I said "What did you just give me?" He said "Fentanyl" I said "OMG" I'm allergic to pain meds. The nurse there also said to him " Shes allergic to pain meds and has terrible reactions to them" Nurse asked about benadryl Dr. Murphy said "I don't want her to fall asleep." So I'm trying to lay still while having terrible itching all over my body during this delicate surgery and being told constantly to lay still. Not one word was said to me afterwards, like I'm so sorry this happened to you. Funny VICTOR never apologized either. But VICTOR should have gone over my chart and knew about my allergies before surgery! He was very incompetent that day! He never asked me if I needed anything for pain, which I did not! And charged me $840 for his screw up! Don't get me wrong, Murphy Watson Burr Eye Center is the best around! Dr. Murphy did an awesome job! When I went back later for exam with Dr. Watson to make sure everything looked ok after surgery, I told him the whole story but I dont believe anything was ever done or said to VICTOR THE ANESTHESIOLOGIST! So make your appointments, it a great place, however ask who the anesthesiologist is and if they've read your chart throughly! Then the cherry on top was a bill for $450 which medicare would have paid for if they had billed correctly. They can take that out of VICTOR THE ANESTHESIOLOGIST pay check! Although my experience was a couple years ago I wanted to drop my recommendation for this practice…read more I had a money hungry dentist in another state tell me I needed a crown on a tooth I never had a problem with and went ahead and trusted he knew what he was talking about and had it crowned. Worst decision. Fast forward I always get food stuck in between that and the tooth beside it since it's not smooth. So my new dentist here in MO has worked on the tooth beside it bunch due to cavities and messed up the crown adjacent then told me we needed to pull it. That ticked me off because here I am looking at pulling a tooth I have never had an issue with AND it's slowly killing the one next to it too. I said no I wanted a second opinion and he sent me here. I told the doc my story and he said he would do his best to save it even though he thought the tooth had less than a 50% chance of succeeding but I wanted to try. It was a long appointment and he had some challenges but I was comfortable throughout the procedure and 3 years later I still have my tooth. I don't have the same problems getting food stuck alongside the crown anymore either which has bought some time for the tooth next to it as well. If I ever have to have any more detailed work done in my mouth I expect to return to this practice in St Joe. They are a good one!

Instead of hard waiting room chairs, there were chairs and sofas. They had a couple different areas, and TV's. The staff were all friendly and treated me wonderful. In the end, they had to refer me to a higher acuity facility, but made sure I would be refunded my copay. They didn't try to run a bunch of tests and then tell me they couldn't treat me. I really appreciated the upfront honesty from my provider. It made me feel like they had my health in there best interest. The nurses were very caring, and let me tell them everything that was happening without feeling rushed. Fingers crossed I won't need their services in the future, but should I, would definitely go back to this location.

After the appointment they'd tell my mom that she needed to pay for my broken bracket as she knows for a fact I didn't break it. I do understand Dr. Noyce was quite busy so he needed people to help him run the place but honestly their could be better people. My mom always stuck up for me and said I know her bracket wasn't lose before we came here or she would have told me which is true! Despite the horrible service from the younger ladies they seemed nice they just were never good at their job could have had better training. Other than that Dr. Noyce is wonderful and would totally recommend going to Noyce Orthodontics for your treatment.
