We all know that I'm a huge fan of donuts...but these ones might have earned a spot it my top five all time shops. They are that good! It's a local shop, not one of the big chains, so they take things at their own pace. Signage may be hand written, English may not be their first language and they might not be as polished as other folks, but the donuts....THE DONUTS!!!!! Worth it. I admit that I ordered a dozen donut holes with the intention of sharing....and may have eaten them all by myself in record time. Welp! Tomorrow's a new day. These are some legit donuts! We bought a couple dozen for the staff at a healthcare facility nearby and could resist a couple apple fritters for us. As good as any fritter I have ever eaten; maybe the best. Great size and weight. They are pricey but, worth the $$. Service was fast and efficient. Great shop! read more

Ath Donuts was a nice little treat in the Fred Meyer building. Looks to be a small family owned business and they are doing very good for themselves. Prices are very fair and their selection is really good. The donuts were good but nothing special in my opinion. They have a couple donuts that are absolutely huge in size. read more

Not having been a donut shop in a while, I wasn't sure what to expect. Located in the same building as the huge Fred Meyer, I overheard that they opened not too many months ago. Everything looked clean and new inside. The donut selection was not vast by any means; they served the usual suspects of glazed, raised, chocolate, maple bars and buttermilk old fashioneds. Was tempted to try the bacon maple bar which was loaded with bacon bits, but then I remembered that I was trying to be a vegetarian. I did have their chocolate bar and lemon filled donuts. Both were very tasty and satisfying. So much lemon filling! Wat was surprising on their menu was the selection of bahnmi sandwiches and Boba tea. THE BEST DONUTS IN IDAHO AND UTAH! This is the only place I've found that makes authentic kolaches and real texan donuts. The donuts were good. By the time I went, after dinner, there were only cake donuts left. Many, many different flavors, and frosting to choose from. There had to be 50 or 60 bags of donuts hole dozens available too. So, we went about making our choices, including a bag of donut holes to try the "raised" variety of donuts. Right away I noticed a very sweet, and vanilla flavor to the glaze on the donuts holes. A bit too much for me. I prefer my donuts glaze to be more old school, simple, if you know what I mean? The chocolate cake donut with the chocolate icing was great! Yummy! A little crispy from the fry, but nice and cakey and delicious chocolate in just the right ratio ontop. Hubby got a cake donut with white frosting and color sprinkles and found the frosting to have too much vanilla flavoring in it too, but really enjoyed the cake part. One thing that surprises me, when I asked the employee what will become of the many dozen donuts and donut holes when they closed in 10 minutes, I was told they will be thrown away. You don't give them to shelters, or food banks, and she said they don't donate them to anyone. WOW. With the elderly, homeless or anyone that would enjoy those donuts, to just chuck them seems terribly wasteful. Advertise buy one get one free during the last hour the store is open to eliminate such waste. Perhaps if there wasn't so much waste, they could charge less than $15 to almost $25 a dozen, which I think is quite high. Those are just my thoughts. You can get a dozen donuts at many grocery stores around here for less, and they are good donuts, and when there are leftovers, they reduce the price as to not waste them. I'm just saying. read more

My daughter expressed interest in finding doughnuts recently so, being new to the area I looked this shop up on yelp. I didn't know what to expect. When we walked in we were greeted by a very clean shop. The people behind the counter were very nice as we made our order. The doughnuts were good too. There's a new donut house in town! It's about time. Jim Bob's is great, but its location is not convenient to me so I never go. This new place, Ath Donuts, is right in the Fred Meyer shopping area next to Lovely Nails so it's very centrally located. I went at 3:30 p.m., when other places might be almost sold out, or not as fresh, but this place was great! I got an old fashioned glazed donut and it was very tender and moist. Also, it was only $1 plus tax! A bargain for a fresh, house-made donut! Another bonus: they sell banh mi (French/Vietnamese sandwiches) so you can grab some lunch for later if you're heading out to the river or a picnic. read more

We may be heading on to greener culinary pastures as we now have kinda a Korean option and this...an Asian donut shop with Bahn Mi sammies! There are only a handful of truly of great sandwiches that are so iconic as the great Banh Mi... Cuban Sandwich Italian Cold Cut Italian Meatball Torta American Club Burnt Ends on white bread Bosnian Cepavi Chicago Italian Beef Philli Cheese To name a few... If you love sandwiches the Banh Mi is one that you should know very well. A true fusion of French and Vietnamese gastronomy at its best. This little shop doesn't represent the best Banh Mi but given the local choices...it's sure to keep you from choosing the bland sandwich options that are so prevalent here. This donut shop is centrally located next to Fred Meyers. I liked that they had parking right outside the door to the shop. We tried a few of the Boba milks - Mango and Coconut, they weren't the best Boba milk we have had but they weren't bad. We preferred the Coconut over the Mango Boba Milk. We also tried a few donuts, all were good, similar to the Boba Milk the donuts were good but not the best we've ever tried. All the donuts were $.99 and specialty donuts were $1.99. I didn't ask about pricing for purchasing a dozen. We enjoyed the yummy smells in the bakery while we ate our donuts. We would stop here again. read more

The donut I had there was good, but the boba is not real boba. Rather, it was a strawberry milkshake with an odd brown type of boba at the bottom. It was disappointing when I expected the strawberry milk tea as advertised and got a powdery milkshake boba instead. read more
