I've never seen it where seating wasn't available though I always get takeout. Food: VERY good. My husband always orders the Athenian gyro which he says is very good. I opt for the build your own with Chicken Shish- Grilled, diced cucumbers, Kalamata olives, power greens, Greco garlic spread dip, and drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette which is top tier. I always order with whatever platform has the best deal. Because this was a spontaneous trip I didn't do my research though and now realize I messed up. I used Menufy which is their business platform and was disappointed that I could only get 3 toppings though it says the toppings are "unlimited." DoorDash is up to 4 toppings and is actually $1 cheaper for the build your own. From what I've seen DoorDash is usually least expensive with the most incentives so try that first. read more

I ordered takeout from Athenian Grill, it took about 15 minutes to prepare. It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking. I went in to pick up the food, the restaurant was quite clean, it was small but there was some seating available. I ordered the platter (yiayias platter) and Greek salad. Yiayias platter comes with rice, beans, potatoes, chicken and tzatziki. I'd say portion wise, I wish there was more rice. But otherwise it was a lot of chicken for a decent price (I find Greek food generally more expensive). Everything was really good, cooked well and flavorful. The Greek salad was fresh, no gross yellow or rotting veggies. And the sauce and feta cheese was plentiful. I'll definitely be coming back here! read more

Please be careful ordering from here. The last two times I ordered there were woods splinters due to the wooden kebab skewers. A few weeks ago I got a splinter in my mouth. Randomly stumbled upon this restaurant because I was in the area . I ordered the fried fish gyro and it was fresh and good! At this restaurant you can choose your protein, topping and sauce . They also have the bowl option if you don't want the gyro pita. I ate inside the restaurant which was small but comfy. However the young girl at the front taking orders speaks and understands very little English which will always be a problem for me when it comes to taking orders and customer service . The food was tasty and arrived fairly quickly. The pita was also good. Unfortunately, the packaging of the meals does not make for great transport and so the plate looks super sloppy by the time he got here. They try to put everything in one tray which takes away from the individual flavors of the food. Most disappointing was that they forgot to pack my son's food. No it was not the driver. Super pleased with this establishment. Order the chicken shish bowl, mint lemonade, pita with eggplant dip and hummus, and rice pudding through Uber eats. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned full of flavor. The lemon potatoes, beet salad and village salad plus super greens were also fresh. The bowl was a good size. The rice pudding was excellent and so was the eggplant dip. The hummus had a flavor I didn't personally enjoy and I am not sure I received tahziki w my bowl as I requested but I didn't even need it that's how tasty it was . If there is a small complaint I must give,is that sometimes they are a bit inconsistent with the food. & I'll give an example: I usually order the "Zoe bowl" and every time I do, they give me something different on it, it's never the same thing and sometimes they skimp on it too lol. Today October 19, 2020 I call to place an order for a platter and was put on hold for about seven minutes. I hung up and tried to call back and the phones were suddenly disconnected I called about 15 times and each time the phone was out of service. I drove to the location to place an order but I asked for a manager first to discuss about the phone issue. Counter girl lied to me and said there was no manager while she was alone but three other people walked into the kitchen a few minutes later. I didn't make a scene so let it be as was... I was given a free dessert but that didn't make up for the time I wasted when my food should've been ready when I got there .... We have been there a dozen plus times. Some of their food is fresh & tasty. Their portion size is a bit small. They fill their bowls up with 3/4 lettuce or spinach varieties. We just wish they would be a little Less stingy when putting on the toppings and especially the meat on their meals. They used to have the Gyro meat up front where the customers could see how much they were putting on. Now, it is behind the counter And behind their employees. You can not see how much meat they're actually putting on your meal. Where you can choose the items to go on your dish, they're basically giving you a giant table spoon of each. Their spinich & their cheese philo pie triangles are not very tasty And are way too salty.
