Masks are required and they have Lysol wipes and hand sanitizer at the entrance. There is a sign saying you must have a cart with you in order to control how many people can come in, but it wasn't enforced at all.

Fast forward to this morning (the day which I've been planning to move out) and I get a call 30 min before my appointment saying they couldn't make it, wouldn't be available until next week. The main challenge right now is how crowded it gets during peak hours making it difficult to use certain machines. The locker room could benefit from a few more benches making changing a bit easier when it's busy. I do wish this location had a dry sauna, which would be a great addition after a workout. It would also be nice if the facility were open on Sundays, as that could help spread out the Monday & Tuesday after work crowds. Overall it's a great, very clean facility with a lot of potential.

This Non-Profit helps dogs that are chained up, by giving them a spacious enclosure and getting them "off the chain". They are non-judgmental with the owners, only looking to better the welfare of the dogs. They have a FB volunteer page where you can sign up to assist with the builds. All their build supplies come from donations or from buying their shirts/hats. The build staff is wonderful, and you don't need to know anything about putting up fences to help jump in. Most builds take about 1-2 hours and are closer to the Athens area of town. Each build consists of making a spacious fenced-in enclosure, with one area designated for sleeping (it also has a canopy for when it rains and area for shade). A water bucket is provided, igloo home, dog cot, food and toys for the doggie. I had the opportunity to do 2 builds thus far and volunteer helping run a table at a one of their events. You get the hang of it after one build, and you meet some wonderful people in the process. Also, the dogs seem so much happier once they get into their area and can run around freely. If you're looking for a way to give back and love dogs, this is the perfect opportunity! Most builds happen 1-2 times per month, and typically 9am-12pm Saturday or Sunday AM. This entire organization is "Off the Chain"!

The daytime caregivers provided outstanding care and seemlessly blended into home life, providing me and other family members with needed breaks. We also had the same caregivers during the day and evening. They communicated with me and my spouse clearly, professionally and compassionately and attended to her needs with sensitivity and dignity. The night care was good but more inconsistent especially during weekends and inclement winter weather. I did not realize that the care CB provided was not covered by our insurance and it is expensive but well worth the cost. My spouse was able to stay at home throughout.

We came here for a temporary exhibit of the Southern Pastel Society. It appeared that the OCAF may…read morehave at least 2 buildings in this campus, but we only visited the exhibit hall. It appears to be a former school auditorium. There is plenty of parking, but it was hard to see initially. We entered via 3rd Street and drove by a baseball field. The OCAF is on a rise about 5 - 8 feet above the level of the road, so you can't really see its closest parking lot until you walk or drive up. I moved the car closer after I realized there was a parking lot up there. You enter past the office and along a hallway of displays of pottery / art for sale. There is also a table with historical objects from the building's school history. The exhibit space was at the end of the hall in the former auditorium. It was laid out as you might expect, with works displayed around the perimeter walls and on some freestanding wall segments in the center of the space. This exhibit was nice, but as I said it was temporary. I assume they rotate other exhibits through the space. This was within a 15-minute drive of Athens, so if you are in that area it is easy to check this place out. We drove out from Atlanta and stopped a a few places on the route, but if you drove straight through it would probably take at least 90 minutes to get here. Depending on what they have on display this is worth a stop.

I highly recommend these guys based on the quality of the rails they made and installed for me and…read morethe professionalism they had working with me. I ordered railings to be made and then the home owners association in my neighborhood needed to replace the sidewalk in front of my house. They held the rails for a month and a half for me while my terrible and ridiculous home owners association contemplated and dithered having my sidewalk repaired. Tucker iron works didn't harass me at all during this time and kept the railings in perfect condition until they could be installed. I hadnt paid them yet and they had already paid to have them molded for the stairs. This was a difficult and unique situation and they handled it with class. Now the railings are finally in and they look fantastic! Quality material at a reasonable price for the parts and labor.
