Let me say the value of the labs was significantly cheaper and the appointments were not too far out. Was able to come in for the service we needed for a fraction of the cost. I don't often write bad reviews, but PawProject deserves one. I took my dog to PawProject for…read moreheartworm testing and eval for dental cleaning. After the exam, I was told straight up that my dog didn't need dental cleaning, so I could not book the service. I decided to purchase heartworm preventatives using their online pharmacy, but after EIGHT attempts in a month to get the medication, the order was rejected EVERY SINGLE TIME by their veterinarian. Each time the reason was that there was a prescription on file already so they could not approve an order request, but there WAS no prescription on file to begin with. All I can assume is that Pawproject wants my dog to get heartworm infection and die. I hate Pawproject and will report them to the Georgia Board of Veterinary Medicine. Don't go there.

I just wanted to have some food for me I understood that because I didn't have the documentation for my boyfriend that they wouldn't give me for him. So why do they need all this information about somebody that's not seeing them in their face? Why doesn't need to know every single aspect of why I am hungry! When somebody is hungry and don't have food that is an emergency.

It takes forever to shop because you have to triple inspect everything - poor tagging / holes in clothes and excessive broken merch. There is no way to test lamps because they're removing the bulbs now. Today there was soiled underwear on the floor for the duration of my visit, over 2 hours. The new security guard Zack made me extremely uncomfortable and I'd advise any sole women shoppers to stay aware. I asked the manager Stephanie for help as he kept invading my personal space. She turned and walked into the office without saying a word. It was baffling. I couldn't complete my purchase because I was scared to leave my personal info / phone on the furniture pick up form. He emphatically refused to move away from me when I asked him to in front of multiple employees and Steph, the manager. Zack also refused to give me his name until another customer intervened: If you're not doing anything wrong as a 'security guard' you shouldn't have a problem with providing your name. After I left that same customer came outside to tell me that the security guard was bad-mouthing me. I'm now considering legal action and will be requesting security footage. Lastly, under previous management I'd been given permission to bring my service dog in. The security guard Zack asked to see my pets tag last week- this is NOT allowed under the ADA. Goodwill says their pet policies are determined by management and are due to customer allergy concerns. Anyone who's ever been inside a goodwill knows that's not true. The pungent mildew and perfume aromas give it away. If I ran my business like goodwill I'd be out of business. Skip the east side location

Nick & Zachary not only coordinated with my friends, the owners of the home, but were *extremely* kind in coordinating with me. They let me know in advance which days would involve a lot of noise so I could make plans to be away. They were always polite & fun to chat with when, for example, my car needed to be moved to make way for a lumber delivery. During this project the remnants of hurricane Michael passed over Athens causing larger than normal rainfall. Nick & Zachary did extra work to make sure the drainage would be installed before the storm hit. Their drainage worked wonderfully, filling the retaining pond to the brim. They also assisted me with filling sandbags to make sure a separate area of the house would be protected in case the rainfall was excessive. Needless to say, I was *very* impressed with their conscientiousness! Home projects can be so stressful. You won't find nicer or more capable landscapers to help you through your project!

She said "those are only for paying customers." How was she to know we weren't going to buy anything? My oldest daughter asked me nicely if she could have it, but the lady interrupted the conversation and said "she can have it for a dollar." I'm sorry, what? You're going to charge me for a toy that if I buy something they would get for free? Her whole attitude towards us was completely disrespectful. Before we could even finish looking around I decided to leave the establishment because I don't think they deserve our business or any business from parents with kids. Instead we spent our money at another shop near by and my daughters were offered something for free there before we even opened the door. Go support Street Love Ministries before coming here.
