My wife's salesperson Nancy was lovely, sweet, personable, and attentive. It upset me to see her supervisor treat her with disrespect, which affected our wait time. The supervisor interrupted my wife and demanded Nancy stop in the middle of looking up a size for her to attend to another waiting customer. If her supervisor was actually concerned with the customers, she would have stepped up to attend to the other customer herself and let Nancy finish helping us. Instead, it felt like she was flexing power over Nancy, warranting me to, unfortunately, find time to write this negative review. Rude supervisor. I walked by Athleta and stopped in on a whim, and the girl working (Megan) was super helpful! I was looking for some blue yoga pants and she gave me a ton of options without making me feel pressured to buy anything. I didn't find the color I was looking for but the service was great and I'll most definitely be back. As a yoga teacher I appreciate the awesome discount here, bigger than lululemon. Athleta - Women's Clothing Near Me - Salt Lake City, Utah

I really wish they opened a second location because Athleta's only shop is located in downtown SLC. That is a good thing too because they are pricey unless you can find deals on the sales racks. I love the quality and fit of Athleta's clothing. It's the closest I've come to having everything fit unless something is only in regular length and I need it hemmed. They do offer free hemming on site too if you ever find a long dress you need adjusted. As everyone else has mentioned, their online selection far exceeds what they offer in the store. I'll shop online and check ahead to make sure they have the items I'm looking for in the store because it's a long drive just for some clothes shopping. I've also ordered online, especially their swimwear purchasing 2-3 different sizes and then returning all the sizes that do not fit. They are very accommodating and I love the way their swimwear fit and the various styles. You can even return items you've purchased online if you plan on going into the store. Make sure you have the receipt or if you use their Athleta card they can look it up that way too. High quality clothing for active women. read more

Great workout clothes that are really high quality. I have had a pair of leggings that have lasted years of vigorous exercise and wear. It is very expensive but worth it if you want to have exercise clothes that last longer than one use. The store in salt lake is cute with a lot of product. You can find a wide variety of women's leggings, sports bras, tops, jackets and vests. They recently started carrying Athleta Girl, which is exercise wear for little girls. It seems cute and high quality just like the women's clothing but it does seem expensive for little girl clothes. My one complaint about the store is that it takes forever to check out. The workers seemed like they didn't know what they were doing and kept asking each other questions on how to do things. I had a simple exchange that took way longer than it needed to. Other than that it is a great store with great workout clothes. read more

Don't get me wrong I do love Athleta's clothes... I shop here ALL the time. But recently I've been running into some interesting issues and from a company so large I would expect so much more. There is no limit on when you can return your purchases from Athleta, which is a huge positive! But what if you have an item that you bought and never wore, still has the tags on and decide you'd rather return it and get something else. I understand they would like a receipt in an ideal world and like most people I don't keep all my receipts from my purchases. I think if I have an Athleta card especially I should be able to look up any purchase I have made with no limit in regards to time because that would go along with their return policy. Well that is NOT the case. I tried to return in the store and because the purchase was from more than 45 days they offered to give me the current price of the clothing as in store credit. In store credit is fine because like I said I shop at Athleta regularly. But when my tag on the clothes says $79.99 I would like to know how much I originally paid versus the current price. So the store recommendations that I call the number on my card which I did. After spending hours on the phone between the card services and online services they were of no help. The card services can only look up purchases by date and price.... well I don't know when I bought it (I barely remember what items I order from Amazon and they show up to my door and it's a surprise what's inside)! And clearly I don't know the price cause that's what I would like to know! So card services is a dead end they transfer me to online services. They told me they can't look up items by name or item number either! They can look through only my online purchases and not my i store purchases so I'm hoping i purchased them online but again not sure. They were not helpful either. They again could not tell me when or for how much I purchased these pants and suggested I go online to my card statements to figure it out myself. So here I am looking at my Athleta card online to pull past statements. You'll never believe this... because I get my statements sent to me by paper I CAN NOT view past statements online. So the only option is for them is to mail paper copies of my entire last year of statements for me to view and I'll get them in 14 days! My only response to all of this besides this is a pure joke is, ATHLETA get with the times and maybe take some notes from Nordstrom and there amazing system!!! This is actually discouraging me from buying more clothes because I don't want to ever run into this issue ever again! No thank you! Huge hassle that I don't appreciate from a store that is supposed to be higher class. I would expect much better service. And just so you know even Lululemon has a better system then you do. So for all of you reading this you can feel safe purchasing from either Lululemon or Nordstrom and if you have a return that you need to make without a receipt you better believe they will find your past purchase and help you out! Since I work part time as a fitness instructor and I think Lululemon is evil, I wanted to check out the Athleta store at City Creek. I'll freely admit that my workout clothing that isn't NiaWear comes from Target (and it holds up pretty well), but Athleta is a Gap company, so I figured it wouldn't be too pricy. I was wrong, it's kinda pricy. Sports bras are closer to $50 than $15. But I bought a couple anyway because 1) I can write fitness clothing off my taxes and 2) they offer a 30% discount to fitness instructors. Service was a little spotty -- I wandered a while before being greeted -- but once I made a connection, was helped with everything I needed. Their styles and colors are very cute, and they take returns cheerfully. read more

I was here tonight looking to spend a gift card on some new running pants. I hadn't bought any of these before, and the staff really helped guide me in the right direction! Good store. I love how you can find the item you're looking for online, put it on hold with just a few clicks and then go pick it up. We've found that this store doesn't usually have the styles or sizes in-stock (or maybe they just run out quickly, who knows) so it's nice to find something online, reserve it in-store and then be on my way. It's a great option for the guy that doesn't want to wander the store. Oh, and don't expect them to give you a parking validation - they don't have any. read more

This just a mother's point of view, but when your daughter receives a gift card for her birthday to Athleta and wants to apply that gift card to a purchase and has a remaining balance that she puts on her banking card - she should be able to apply the gift card to her purchase. Not so, according to Athleta customer service. She had the full amount deducted from her bank card without even applying it to the gift card. Word of advice- don't buy Athleta gift cards. The company does not back them up. Worst customer service ever. read more
