Working with Betsy was like working with family. I brought my mother's 45 year old wedding gown and…read moreshe took all of my wild ideas and totally transformed the dress into everything I could've ever dreamed of. Her studio is lovely. She was able to do everything I asked and more. Her work is exceptional and her pricing is very fair. My wedding dress was the center and the highlight of my wedding for me (besides the groom OF COURSE) and I couldn't have had that dream come true without her. She even had lots of good advice and suggestions for other aspects of my wedding. She's like a fairy godmother! You must meet her. I cannot recommend her enough.

Her studio is beautiful and really makes you have that special bridal moment when you try your dress on for the first time in front of the mirror. She is very knowledgable of fabrics, new and vintage, and has an incredible vision for the potential a dress holds while also keeping its integrity and meaning. I am so proud of my dress and how she was able retain much the history and look of the original dress, while also capturing my personality and reflecting it perfectly. I am lucky to have found Betsy, and wouldn't trust anyone else with such a special and fragile dress. I will cherish her work and her friendship forever. Thanks Betsy!

It's time for an update. I found myself in the market for my annual clothing shopping trip, and…read moreafter striking out at the mall, I reluctantly returned to Chico's with high hopes. Renee cheerfully greeted me and was happy to help me find several wardrobe enhancers and fun additions. She was remarkable, and I left very happy with my new pieces. Not only was the service terrific, but the selection was pretty darn good-which could be dangerous for my pocketbook. Oh well, at least I'll like the way I look!

The difference between this location and the Foothill Village location is astonishing. The…read moreemployees at the Foothill location are always so friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make my visit to their store pleasant. A few months ago, my husband was with me at the Creekside location and was standing outside the dressing rooms holding my purse. One of the women there rudely asked him what he was doing there. He was nicely dressed and neatly groomed and it embarrassed him. He politely told her that he was waiting for me while I was trying on clothes. She didn't bother to apologize. It wasn't rocket science, he was holding a purse in a clothing store waiting for his wife. He didn't tell me this until we were home, which is probably a good thing. I called the district manager about it, and apparently he didn't find it necessary to fire this rude woman because she is still there. I avoided this store for quite a while but I was in the area and went back a few days ago because it was the first day of their big sale. Nothing there has changed. The women there do not greet you when you walk in, my shoulder was about to break before anyone offered me a dressing room and when I got to the checkout, one of the women made it very clear that she was much too busy to help me so she sent me to a woman named Nancy. Nancy was impatient and unfriendly and rude. I was trying to look at the tags and she very bluntly told me that she would take care of it. She charged me too much for one of the blouses, but I'm not going back there to show her the error. I was trying to talk to her, but I couldn't hear her because the rude lady who told me she was too busy to help me was yelling numbers and information to another woman across the store. Really? This couldn't wait? The Foothill store wraps your purchases neatly in tissue paper and asks if you would like boxes for any of the garments. Nancy shoved my garments in a bag like they do at Walmart. I have two sisters who live close to that Chico's and have had similar experiences and now drive to the Foothill store. I would suggest that the Creekside ladies learn some manners and customer service from Susan, Linda, and the other ladies at the Foothill store.
