It's felt like my "home away from home!" My main physical therapist was Mike Z, while I've also seen Vibol on occasion. When I first started going to PT, I was in a tremendous amount of pain and couldn't walk or move my knee at all. I was terrified I'd never walk normally again or be rid of the excruciating pain. Mike was patient and moved me through exercises that specifically targeted the muscles that had "gone to sleep" and also increased my range of motion by tiny degrees at a time. The last thing my body needed was to be forced into submission. I always felt that both Mike and Vibol had my best interests at heart and did everything they could to help me with my pain and getting back to normal activity. They were creative with their methods and very encouraging when I hit a plateau, yet pushed me to keep "fighting" for the next achievement- even if it just meant gaining two degrees of flexion in my knee. I've recently "graduated" from PT and can ride my bike, swim and walk normally again. I owe so much to Mike and Vibol and can't thank them enough for all of their support and for pushing me to keep healing. If I ever have the need for PT again, I will definitely be going back to them at this Athletico.

After reconstruction, he went to see Mickey and the Mikes 2 or 3 times a week. They were kind and fun and didn't let him cheat. They did the right amount of pushing. They were encouraging and rebuilt him mentally as well as physically. It has been less than a year since reconstruction and our guy earned a HUGE personal record by running a 4:46 mile. I STRONGLY believe this was in large part due to the perfect trifecta of a top-notch surgeon, the best PT, and Coach Kern. I honestly worried we would never see him compete again, but to witness him come back even stronger is surreal. THANK YOU.

Working with Emma Marshall for the past 11 months we have achieved 100% full range of motion and approx 70% of my strength back in a shoulder that needed a total replacement. Through Emma and my hard work we have save the need for shoulder replacement surgery for now and far exceeded my expectations of being able to have a full range of motion and improved strength. According to the surgeon and the hospital staff, the pre-surgery therapy was perfect for me has laid out by Advanced Physical Therapy. My post surgical therapy went very well. All of the attention to detail and working with my personality made it very easy to keep going. Everybody I was in contact with from reception through my therapist Cassandra they made me feel very much at ease and at home. I would very highly recommend this facility and people to anyone needing to have physical therapy. I do not normally give five stars but this place is that good!

The front desk staff and the PT reviewed my doctor's notes and told me the visit would be "a hundred-something dollars" billed to insurance, with me responsible for 20%. Based on that, I agreed to proceed. Instead, they billed my insurance $360, leaving me with a much higher out-of-pocket cost. When I called billing, the manager said I must have misunderstood and claimed they don't give estimates, refused to check with the staff who gave me the quote, and told me to contact my insurance. I was also warned the balance could be sent to collections. This felt like a bait-and-switch, and the customer service was very disappointing. I won't be returning and recommend getting everything in writing before starting treatment. They billed 3 codes for every 15 min spent there, Therapeutic Procedures 97112- $126, Neuromuscular reeducation 97112 $70 & Therapeutic activities 97530- $162.00. Hope this helps anyone who's considering PT at this place.

As far as the Physical Therapist they were awesome. From the beginning, he was different from all the previous PT locations I have visited (I had spent the last 8 months in PT). The traditional approach being 30 minutes with the therapist, then 30 minutes doing exercises with the tech. He does not follow this format. Instead, he takes the time to listen to you and tailors a recovery program suited to your needs. The one on one care on site and accessibility was genuine and helped me understand my recovery and previous setbacks. I am amazed more PT clinics don't operate this way- I think there would be a lot less of us in PT then. Booking: First appointment made over phone and subsequent ones made on site and they accept most insurance. Parking: Ample parking in lot. Location: A bit tricky to find as it is in a plaza so allot an additional 5-10 minutes for your first visit.
