Had he not done that, I would've gotten my ROM back. Insurance dropped me because I "wasn't making progress". (Side note: one popular physical therapy chain wanted to charge 4 times more!) I was really hoping the lower cost did not effect the quality of my therapist and/or the care I received but I had absolutely nothing to worry about. I owe that all to my physical therapist, Katie, who is knowledgeable and was committed to resolving the chronic pain associated to bursitis in my shoulder. As she worked with me and evaluated what was going on, she explained why I felt pain during particular movements and assigned exercises to strengthen areas that would reverse my condition and lessen inflammation. I felt positive differences after two visits and I continue to see improvement with the home exercises that were assigned to sustain the health of my shoulder. As I write this, my shoulder is about 90% improved since the time I started therapy in late August and it is getting better by the day. I have to admit though, I was skeptical about whether or not I would have this much relief. I had heard about physical therapy being useful for people who have had surgery or injuries but hadn't heard about the benefits for chronic pain until my doctor told me to go. I am now a believer. During my time there, I have interacted with various members of their staff and everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. After his initial assessment, the team agreed he needed 30+ hours of weekly ABA therapy to support his development. Unfortunately, Rush consistently failed to deliver. Despite the agreed-upon plan, our son never received more than 17 hours per week, even during summer sessions it was decreased even further down to just 13 hours. Early intervention is critical for autistic children to build essential skills in communication, cognition, and social development, as emphasized by every autism support group we've joined. Rush's inability to provide the recommended therapy hours has hindered our son's progress. Worse, Rush made recommendations that seemed contrary to his best interests, such as reducing his weekly hours after he missed a few days over a couple of weeks or allowing their therapist make medical diagnosis when they have no training to diagnose medical conditions. This lack of commitment and follow-through has been deeply disappointing. We expected a center dedicated to supporting autistic children to prioritize their needs, but Rush fall far short of that standard.

Dr. Camaj was very thorough in her evaluation and worked me diligently. But the best part was when she soon realized "something is wrong" when I wasn't making progress and suggested I go see another doctor for the hip. Good thing she said that... the first surgeon botched it bad and I had to have a total hip replacement. Bottom line, Dr. Camaj's professionalism is second to none, and I highly recommend their service.

I went in with annoying plantar fasciitis. I stopped going because my Dr. told me that I would need surgery - because the PT made things worse. Initially, it was just a little stiffness and pain. Eventually, I was put in an immobilizer boot, only able to walk with crutches, and told to get an MRI because surgery was likely - due to the tendon damage caused by the therapy that was supposed to help me. I understand that the issue was that they were understaffed. It happens. I get it. But their profit should not be at the sacrifice of my health. They should have never taken me on as a patient. They know what they did to me. No one ever called to check in on me. No one ever followed up to see if there was anything that they could do. But guess what they didn't forget - to send the bill. Yeah, they didn't forget that.
