I am giving them a 1 star not because of Dr Feeney because he is one of the best Drs. but because of their front office. These workers need to be fired, they are rude, and NEVER answer the office phones. I have been calling the office for the last 3 days to no avail. Now, I am having to drive down to the office to get answers to my questions. Fast forward... when I got there, they were open and there was only 1 person in front of me, there was no other patient there except for two pharmaceutical reps, They were not inundated with patients. When I told them I had been calling for the last three days, the response was that "at the beginning of the year we have a ton of new patients and phone calls and there are only two of us working." I'm sorry to tell them, but that's part of the job, you work in a medical office and your job is to deal with patients. This has been going on for YEARS. Them not answering the office phone is a continual thing, just last month (December) this happened to my husband and he was getting frustrated. The front office does NOT answer the phone so you can never get through to make an appointment and I have brought it up to Dr Feeney in the past. I will be sad when I have to find a new Dr because of their unprofessionalism. If you go on YELP and look up Atiga in Menifee it shows 1 star also, very sad. read more

I don't know where to begin... In short, it took two years just to get an Xray... Once it was apparent I had a significant injury, my NP altered (so it strongly appears) my medication list in my records. Then she left (abandoned) me hanging. So I started to see Atiga himself... He was a disaster waiting to happen. And to the women out there... It appears Atiga doesn't have a very healthy opinion about women... He's an insulting little character and I simply cannot recommend this office for medical care. Nearly six years later... Not being able to get appropriate medical care... About two months ago I came in and asked for a lab. It was put in under the wrong code. The lab gave me a Post-It note with the 4 digit code on it, I walked over and gave it plus my info to someone at the front desk. Slightly inconvenient, but it did cost me a half day of work. I called the lab two days later, they didn't have the order, so I called the office again. And again a few days later. And again. And again. And again. I counted my outgoing calls and said on the voicemail, "Hi, this is the eight time I've tried to get this done, and I'm not even getting calls back." Someone finally called me two days ago to tell me it was done, and that was the 9th attempt / conversation to get a simple lab done, but okay, it's done, right?! Wrong. I am sitting in their waiting room right now because I came to drop off the sample and no one entered it or called it in. I walk across the hall to ask them again. It's now the 10th time, for a lab. But... it gets worse. I speak to the front desk, asking them to put in a specific code. They said their team has to talk it over, and asked me to sit and wait. Over a half our later they give me the lab paperwork - but say that they *think* it's correct now, I go back to the lab, and they're closed. So now I have to go back to the lab, take yet another half day off of work, driving almost a half hour each way - *and it may not even be the right lab code!* There is no possible way this office could be more disappointing. I'd recommend a witch doctor in the middle of the Amazon over this place. read more

In office experience was rather pleasant I suppose. However, things soon went south when they completely messed up my blood panel and ordered a vaginal swab test for me. I'm a male. Next, 5.9 is not an elevated red blood cell count for an adult male. Why do I need to educate these so called experts? Seriously? I was supposed to see the actual Dr. Atiga yet I ended up seeing a nurse practitioner who completely messed up my blood panel by mislabeling my gender and claimed my RBC was too high (5.9 is normal range for an adult male, anything over 6.1 would be considered elevated) which caused unnecessary stress and anxiety for me when in reality it is a non issue. Everyone is amazing, kind, and helpful, and when you need an appointment for a sick baby, they jump through hoops trying to get you in asap. Had a great first visit at Dr. Antiga's office and he had great bedside manner. As in HI, we talked story and got to know each other. He rattled off all the prescriptions I needed & to my surprise he told the receptionists and they had already called in the prescription before I was able to finish my paperwork! The receptionists were very efficient and nice as they called me prior to my appointment to confirm and also get some new patient info. I won't get into personal affairs but I will say I don't understand the low ratings. Everytime I come here im welcomed and I feel comfortable and warm. Calling on the phone they take great care of me and address every concern and question I have. The staff is amazing and so sweet. The care I have been receiving is fine. Getting a return phone call however takes an act of congress. I was called back by the office staff once after leaving a few messages, but their phones lines are not in good working order and they hung up on me to not try calling me back. I'm on my 3rd voicemail just trying to get a return call. I had a change in insurance coverage and need a new referral to my dermatologist, with ongoing treatment already, was in for an annual just a few weeks and now am told I need to come in for another appointment. I have been a patient with Atiga for a long time. They have always been able to get me in for an appointment within a reasonable time frame. I have mostly been seen by NP's and they have all been Very professional and thorough. I have been seen in the Murrieta office and Menifee both offices are clean and the staff at each facility very nice. I am happy with the level of care. My only issue with this office, and it may be a state wide issue, is this questionnaire asking things like my attitude about a lot of personal matters. I also was asked a number of memory questions. Took my dad for an appointment from his back and knee and was unable to walk, we left the office and my dad was walking by himself. Amazing That same day I came back and brought my husband, he was in urgent care one day before with knee problems. He treated my husband knee, and again the result were amazing he walk out on his own. No words can explain the gratefulnesses we have for Calving G Castro. Will definitely recommend him. I loved Nicole the NP but she has left the practice. Their billing practices are shady at best. I am currently fighting a bill for a routine Pap smear from quest because Atiga's office billed it as a regular visit and not a well woman bc I asked for lab orders to recheck my cholesterol the following month as Nicole had requested. They charged me a copay BEFORE my visit and when questioned about no charge for well woman they told me I was wrong. My insurance confirmed it should be $0 copay. I also now have a bill from Quest bc under a routine visit, Pap smears have a copay while under well woman they would be covered. Jayme the office manager could care less and apparently doesn't understand the root of the issue. I am emailing them back and forth fighting all of this. The worst office staff I've ever encountered from a doctors office. They never answer the phone. And if you leave a message they never call you back. On one occasion, I called multiple times and left messages to reschedule an appointment. Never received a call back. Then I received a bill for a no show charge!! What a joke! I had to call about 20-30 times in a row before I finally got through to someone about the bill, and she acted like she could care less. Dr. Feeney is fine, but this practice too small and cannot accommodate same day or even short notice appointments. My son, who has chronic respiratory issues, needed to be seen last week for a lingering cough. Soonest appointment was 2 weeks out. 2 WEEKS! They told us to go to the ER. We did. $100 later, son got treated, and was instructed to follow up with PCP. Called again this week. No appointments available. They told us to go back to ER or urgent care! What's the point of having insurance? I told the girl on the phone that we would be changing doctors to one we could actually SEE. She got a little snotty and said "Fine." This morning in the span of about 3 hours, I called Blue Cross, switched to Rancho Family Medical Group, had a 9:30am appointment, picked up Rx's at CVS and am home! BOOM! read more

The front desk at this place will kill you. I recently need to switch (from my Dr. Of 18 years, (because of Obamacare)to Dr. Feeney because of needed a CT scan and was referred to a solid Gastro guy. After 2 months of going back and fro with the Gastro guy and the front office. The Gastro informed me that the CT wouldn't be approved without record of severe weight loss. I have lost 25% of my overall body weight which I am pretty slim to begin with. I called my 18yr previous Dr. and they tell me Dr. Feeney did not request records, which would have reflected severe weight loss. I think the front desk seems like they are too busy with all those important things they are doing. That first visit with Feeney he took all of my med info and dosages, This last visit an under qualified worker came in and asked that same question. Should have been "entered" into their system on that first visit. I was pissed because if I show up at this office and they ask me what my meds are again, they don't seem to listen!! Back to the CT scan I had an appointment with Feeney to read the results of this test. He started reading results from a colonoscopy I had the month or 2 before. When I brought it to his attention he immediately said well we don't have the results for the CT. He walks out of his office and asks one of their super sharp workers(only saying that because she actuallysaid they DID receive the results of the CT. So end result here is. If you enjoy counter people who won't convey small messages to your Dr, you should think about suing as I don't think the negative reviews are doing anything to move this business out of the super suck they are stuck in. It took somewhere in the neighborhood of 6 months to get results and treatment. I bet an Urgent Care. I have documentation to prove most all of this and am considering a "Patient Abandonment" suit as these reviews do little for a poorly run businesses. I think Jayme(office manager) needs to be pushed aside. She is clearly tired of the job and hired a lot of friends. If you hire friends, it's hard to fire them. I have been to the Murrieta office and have experienced terrible beside manner with an attitude from the nurse practitioner Nadine. She is not friendly and has no concern for her patients. I ran out of my RX and was able to get a refill 1 time but had to wait 2 months for my appointment. I ran out and decided to wait a few weeks for my yearly physical to get a refill. When Nadine entered the room right away she claimed I was suppose to get blood work before my appointment. When I scheduled my appointment front staff did not mention anything about blood work before my physical appointment. Usually the protocol is you see the doctor before blood work is ordered. Nadine talked to me like a child and literally walked out of the room and had her medical assistant give me the order. When she walked into the room she did not great me and when she walked out she did not finish up the conversation with asking if there is anything else I need as her patient. Menifee office on Haun - I'd hate to give the whole practice such a horrible review because the Nurse Practitioner- Nicole is great. However, this entire office staff is either under trained or does not care about their patients. My Mother in law is very ill and this group has not only sent her perceptions all over town, messed up her home health and constantly has to be told what to do. We have to call them over and over again. When the rest of us went to them, they lost all of our blood test orders and never sends out referrals for testing. A person could really get worst going here. Atiga himself, is fine but gives you the least amount of time possible in his check ups. Would never recommend anyone to go there. read more

I had an unfortunate experience with this doctors office. They lied about tests and costs. They sent a bill for tests I never received. They are all dishonest, extremely misleading, and overall I was scammed out of hundreds of dollars that will now be sent to credit. I found their behavior to be dishonest and untrustworthy. At the end of the day, they are the worst doctor I have ever been too. Terrible experience. Now I have to pay a bunch of fees for tests I didn't take to not ruin my credit.
