These people are so cruel and true animal abusers. Please…read morekeep in mind I have been getting my cats long hair trimmed for many years and never had a problem. We have moved to the area and we're in need of a new groomer. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. WARNING ABUSE AND ANIMAL CRUILTY AT ITS WORST. I will explain in order of how things occurred so please read to the very end and I beg you to pass this message on to avoid any more animal cruelty. They cut all her hair off and completely disregarded my request. When asked about it the groomer wouldn't listen. He proceeded to literally shove my cat in her kennel and walked away. I was shocked because I didn't show any sign of being upset or rudeness of any sort. Then I told the lady when I was paying and she said, well what do you expect your cat was biting them. She has never been aggressive in any way. My cat was shaking and literally peed herself in the kennel so I proceeded to pay so I could leave. Obviously I should have refused to pay but at this point my concern was for the safety of my poor animal. In the car ride home and even once we were home my poor girl who has always been overly social sat in place shaking and would not allow anybody to touch or get near her. I had to force her to let me look at her body to see if there was anything else going on and to my surprise I found cuts, burns from the blades, and her toenails were not trimmed but completely cut down to the skin. I am taking her for a vet check to ensure nothing else is wrong. At this point I am so shocked that a place like this could even still be open. I am just besides myself in anger. I really hope that my cat will learn to trust us again. She is so frightened and won't even move to eat or go to her litterbox. If anyone has any suggestions on what else I can do please let me know cuz I really don't want this to happen to anybody else. How can anybody live with themselves after treating an innocent animal this way.

They also have a Snapchat you can use to see what fun the pups are having throughout the day. He had a complimentary nail trim as well and it's so nice to have that off our to-do list after vacation. Our boy did come home with a bit of a cough but that just comes with daycares of all kinds so we don't blame the staff for that. Canine Kingdom will be Shadows regular daycare now because of our great confidence in their staff.

I was asked upon checking in to provide vaccination records, great, I brought them - I now know that all the dogs there are up to date and my puppy is safe. The receptionist then asked if it was okay for my dog to play with the other dogs while they weren't grooming him in the play area - of course it's okay, puppy socialization, awesome! I then left and waited for my puppy's first ever groom to finish. Four hours later I got the call to come back and walked into the salon looking for little Timmie to be playing with the dozen or so other dogs that were on the floor, but no Timmie to be seen. I could hear him though, hear him barking from somewhere in the back area. The receptionist saw me and explained that YOUR dog is being kept in the back room because he was barking. (And they thought that putting him in a back room would stop the barking?) I was a little upset with this, my dog is only 5 months old and is being held in a back room because he is being a scared dog, going through his first grooming experience and is barking??? I would have rather gotten a phone call and taken home an ungroomed dog if they couldn't handle the barking rather than have a dog that is now terrified of going to a groomer. I went to pay and the total was nearly double what I was quoted on the phone. I am reasonable, I understand that it can be a bit more than the quote due to the type of hair, temperament of the dog, etc. but double the price??? Needless to say I paid it, not happily and will not be going back to Dazzling Dogs.

My 12 lb dog has been charged from 31.50-56.00 for a regular bath (price varies depending on who's ringing it up). More recently was made to pay 70 dollars for regular full grooming PLUS extra. Because of no conditioner my dog matted horribly and had to have his lovely coat shaven off two weeks ago. Which they did poorly and left his ears dirty and nails long. A buzz cut for nearly eighty dollars! The worst part is that ever since his last grooming two weeks ago my dog got FLEAS. He had over six adult fleas on him. He also had deep matting inside both his ears. Deep, waxy built up balls of hair on a dog that gets groomed every two weeks? I had to brave a blizzard to take him to the vet, cancel my work, bathe him and clean my entire house, spray all mattresses and cushions, and wash everything at home. I called them to FOREVER cancel and my vet asked me to call them again to tell them they were possibly GIVING FLEAS to dogs!! No one manager was on site. Owner is never in. They did not appear surprised. 'They will pass on the message'. No reply as of yet... I'm not holding my breath. Update: it has been over a week and no one from Dazzling Dogs has called.

This is my fault and had to accept he had to be cut shorter than desired. He looks and smells awesome and his face is fabulous. My golden retreiver / Pyrenees cross was already shedding her undercoat despite our lousy weather . She looks smells and feels fabulous!. Then I tried somewhere else. TOTALLY different experience. My dog didn't bark ONCE! Not when I left or when I picked her up. She so much more calm and relaxed. The girl who works at dazzling dogs really rubbed me the wrong way but my dog would look so cute after so I kept going.
