Jules…read moreand his Team did 3 follow up inspections, two times they attributed fault to other issues (gutters/chimney condition). Fair, we weren't looking to pin our issues on something beyond their control. We took that advice to heart and addressed those concerns with a chimney / flashing rebuild as well as twice annual gutter cleaning and now replacement to larger gutters. When the water intrusion issue continued Jules' team this time pointed blame to a 2nd story window and caulked the flashing/ J channel at the roof to siding transition below the point they suspected water was entering the home. When the water intrusion issue continued I decided to seek advice from other local companies which was an eye opening experience. Seemingly every siding to roof transition was installed incorrectly. Flashing / counter flashing done wrong. Nails through step flashing. Drip edge was also placed on top of ice and water shield (should be below). These issues now need to be addressed at an additional expense to us less than 4 years after our roof was replaced. The caulking they carelessly placed will also make the repairs more difficult. Unacceptable. Upon raising these findings to Jules - no response at all. That's fine, we would not want JulesPoirier Co doing any further work on our home, but the dancing around an issue of their creation is maddening. Their pricing (in 2020) was competitive with others we received, they were not the lowest bidder nor the highest, but the quality of work is severely lacking and their customer service has been equally poor. Roof replacements are a significant expense to homeowners, we hope you take this review into consideration before contracting with JulesPoirier Company.

Promises to have excellent work and that the work will be done correctly. However, the workmanship overall is not good, several issues had to be resolved. Stephen (if he comes) shows up on site for maybe 30 mins at the beginning of the day. Stephen doesn't check any of the work to ensure its up to code or if he does, he doesn't know the code and will cause rework later. I requested all work to be permitted at the beginning of the project. After questioning when the inspector was coming, his workers said Stephen was dealing with that. Stephen never filed for the permitting until I told him it had to be done. Work had to be paused for a month while waiting for inspector to come to the house. Cracks in grout from install after 2 months. I found out there was no Schluter or hardy board under the tile and it was put directly onto plywood. After 3 attempts to repair by just adding more grout into the cracks and caulking into the grout, I complained enough that he replaced it with LVP. They poured a concrete pad right before a frost and mounted the split unit condenser on it 2 days after pouring. I asked Stephen to fix this and his response was "it's a useable pad". I was so feed up with the excuses and the terrible workmanship that I didn't even want him to come back. Several other items had to be fixed, mounting the split units within 2 inches from the ceiling, not cleaning the walls before painting, stripped screws, and overall just terrible finishing work. The other issue I had was that they used my tools and shop vac while working on the projects without consent. Completely unprofessional. Stephen Hale offers a good price but the headaches and numerous failed inspections were a nightmare. Spend a little more and avoid the problems.

They informed me the installation has a lifetime warranty and offered to schedule a free onsite replacement. Of course I accepted their offer. The technician arrived on time and took care of the issue in short order. He was pleasant and professional when I asked him a few related questions. As he was leaving he told me "call us if you have any other issues, we'll come out and take care of them for you." Overall, a very pleasant experience.
