At first glance I was very impressed with my service, but when I started looking closer I was disappointed. When I arrived home I was so excited to see how clean my apartment was. As I walked around, though, I noticed some things that were off. First of all, there were clumps of hair left on the floor. I paid for them to clean the carpet, which they did, but didn't pick up the gathered hair, I guess? My vanity table and dressers has some jewelry and things on the surface, and while I didn't expect them to organize them completely, it was just thrown together. Now some of my jewelry is tangled. And if this is part of the process, I get it, but I didn't expect to have to do work after a cleaning. I also had a very expensive neon sign that was broken and a mysterious stain left on my wall that wasn't there before. The cleaners needed more time, which I granted, but I am not happy with some of the mistakes made. I have contacted the company and sent them pictures. We will see if they reimburse me for the broken items and the stain and if they make this right. Will update once an arrangement is made to remedy this. read more

The services indicated in agreement were not completed. If they could not be completed, for whatever reasons, I expect some amount of payment returned. I paid for services that were not provided. I was given all sort of excuses, like they thought what I plainly described as an attic was a finished apartment. I said attic, most ppl understand what an attic is. It's partially floored. I wouldn't expect anyone to clean an I floored attic, walk on beams or such! Either way, I paid to have it cleaned and it was not. I had to spend mote money to hire someone else to come behind ACS who would not refund or even return my calls/texts/e mails. Other areas were hot cleaned as agreed upon either. This company is done with customers once money changes hands, makes excuses, does not complete work. I have paid for cleaning for years and never had such terrible service. Referred by a friend. They came 3 times and we had an issue each time. 1. During the initial deep clean I was quoted and range and then sent an invoice for $300. $90 over what I was quoted. 2. Broke a pair of blinds and didn't notify us or offer to replace. 3. Ripped a button off our new couch. Didn't notify us and also tossed the button so I can't even have it repaired. Well...who should you call? One piece of advice from me to you - DO NOT call Atlanta Cleaning Source. That is, of course, unless you like uneven service, a series of unexplained no shows, and exorbitant pricing. I've had a number of cleaners throughout the years living in different cities - New York, Atlanta, Seoul - and I've never had anyone as unreliable as Atlanta Cleaning Source. They call their team of cleaners "crews," which implies that there is some sort of consistency in who actually shows up each week. Quite the contrary, the number of folks parading in and out of my house was actually laughable. I would doubt that we had consistency month-to-month. I have been using Atlanta Cleaning Source for 2 years to clean my AirBnB and personal home. They have been heaven sent. Very flexible with scheduling including last minute request that I may have. Pricing or being over charged has never been an issue. Even during the most challenging of jobs when i needed a re modeling project that resulted in the entire house being filled with dust. The cleaning service itself is outstanding as well as I have not had any complaints from any of my guests. Atlanta Cleaning Source - When the cleaning service's time is more valuable than the client's I had good expectations of this company due to its excellent recommendations on Angie's List and Yelp. As a professional that works 80+ hrs a week in a demanding field, I had hoped to find a company I could establish a long-term business relationship and work with my schedule. The cleaning teams themselves are professional, efficient, and get the job done. They are receptive to feedback and are reliable. However, there were several incidents regarding scheduling problems time and again. On my last visit, the cleaning team arrived 30 minutes late to their appointment. I was not called or notified in advance to know that the team would be late and there was no one in the company office line who responded to my calls. Atlanta Cleaning Service did return my calls the next day and said that we needed to work together given the unpredictability of my schedule. I gave them several dates for the next appointment that would work well for me. They said they would get back to me. I reminded the office that I preferred to be contacted by email rather than phone. I work in a hospital and its not always convenient to respond to cleaning service scheduling during active patient care. Despite this conversation, I had to call their office again 5 days later to get confirmation for possible dates via email. I received a confirmation date on 02/11/2016. I then received a cancellation on 2/25/2016 for a cleaning scheduled on 2/27/2016. I asked for the next set of alternative dates to reschedule. An email from the company stated: "unfortunate nature of Saturdays ... can not guarantee scheduling. ... I do encourage you to see if you can seek out another company that can guarantee a cleaning on Saturdays. We are unique in our "Volunteer Only" due to how we balance our cleanings and the over all health of our employees. ... I can keep an eye out for Saturday, but I am not going to offer a lot until I actually have another Team Lead volunteer. This could take some time." I found this email to be disingenuous as I was quite clear at the beginning that my hospital work entails night shifts, weekends, and a rotating schedule. That is why I asked to book appointments weeks ahead of schedule to ensure that I could make the time to let the cleaning person in. Overall, the repeated scheduling issues have been more headache than convenience. I have moved my schedule to accommodate this company's. As one of the pricier cleaning companies in the area, I was happy paying more for good service to a company that offered its workers a living wage. I invested my time off to make sure our business relationship could work. I paid my bills on time. And through multiple episodes of communication with this company, I can't shake the feeling that their employee's time was more valuable than my own. read more

Quite an interesting spin. Sadly, the tub is NOT the original. Most of the upstairs, including the master bath (new tub installed) was gutted and renovated in 2008. Not surprisingly, the facts are incorrect and much of the rest is extremely exaggerated or completely fictitious. This could easily have been remedied with even slight effort on the part of this business owner. I was able to find someone to repair the discoloration on the bottom of this eight year old tub for a mere $400. But, the inordinately long response is somewhat entertaining. read more

This is our third or fourth time using Atlanta Cleaning Source for spring cleanings and move-in/move-out cleans and each time, their team was professional and extremely good at cleaning our house. On this last cleaning, we had over 7 months of construction dust layered throughout the house plus contractors who had trudged in and out of the house meaning that the place was absolutely DISGUSTING. The floors were so dirty that my socks turned black when I walked on them and I don't even want to imagine what was breeding in the bathrooms. Tameka and Portia came and thoroughly cleaned the whole place so that it sparkles, including taking a toothbrush to the dust that was on the grooves in the dresser. Jen (the owner) also stopped by to see how everything went, which I thought was a really nice touch, since it wasn't something she needed to do.
