PART 1 I arrived…read moreafter taking the red-eye from LA. Went straight to the hotel provided by HRS. It took a bit to check in perhaps because I didn't mention the room was under (insert name). I rested for a bit and had a small breakfast from the place in the lobby. HRS said they would be calling between 9:00 AM - 9:15 AM to arrange for my pick up to bring me to their location. My procedure was set for 9:30 AM. I was not contacted so I sent them a text at 9:15 AM to let them know I was waiting at the hotel. They said to "hold on for a few minutes. I'll call you when I call the Uber". I told them my wife was there and she could drop me off and we'll head over if that's ok.. Response was "Ok, that'll work perfectly" I would expect a call during the time frame they provided as well as a driver waiting downstairs. This gave me pause, especially being an out of town client. When I arrived, I signed some Covid related screening paperwork and my temperature was taken. I was then directed to a consultation room. A few minutes later Marshall entered the room and we began to chat. We spoke of me being in from LA, that I had a few consultations there and how the pricing and graft recommendations were all over the map. He shared with me some of his daily routine for tending to his hair as well as a shampoo-in type of hair dye. He examined my hair and drew a marker hairline in the front as well as some other marker lines and numbers on my scalp. He went on to tell me about not going to low on the frontal line as it would not look natural. I asked about density and he told me based on the thickness of my hair, being relatively fine, not to expect a density result as if my hair was as it was in my twenties. He then gave me two small blue round pills which I believe was xanax or something similar, to relax me a bit for the procedure. I was given a menu to select what I wanted for lunch. We then went into the procedure room and Marshall had me place all of my belongings in a bag and then had me put a surgical gown on as well as cover my feet (socks on) with booties. I was introduced to Ed who was to be the technician doing the procedure, Another man came in who was an MD and asked me about any meds I was currently taking and if I was allergic to any medications as well as what my current weight and height were. He advised the tech what seemed to be appropriate levels of meds for the procedure. If I remember correctly I was given an injection in each arm? I was then given injections to numb my scalp for the donor area. The needles were the typical prick of a slight pinch. Not too bad. I was lying face down in a pillow while the tech began the follicle extractions. I believe I even fell asleep during the process from the meds and not sleeping on the red-eye. I didn't feel much pain at all,  I was then woken up and it was time for lunch. I'm pretty sure other techs came in and out of the room during the procedure. After I had my meal, it was now time to lie on my back for the implanting of the grafts. Ed first gave me some needles to numb the area and then began to make slanted incisions along my front hairline. It felt like an exacto knife piercing Styrofoam. He explained that they were done on an angle to help hold in the grafts stronger and also angle to match the angle of the hair. I fell back asleep and at one point was dreaming of rats in my face and I twitched to avoid them. Ed cautioned me to remain still. It was now close to 7 PM. Ed notified me his task was completed. He began to go through the post-op care and I said I would like to record his instructions on my phone so I wouldn't forget since I was still a bit medicated. He wasn't very receptive to that and just continued with his instruction. I could tell he was pretty wiped from the long procedure, however I would have expected him to be more accommodating since it was my first time undergoing such a procedure. I was then given a bag with some medical type hats and coverings for when I would rest my head to protect the pillow from blood, etc. There were bandages on the back of my head which wrapped around to the front. There was a small spray bottle of Saline solution, a small bottle of Johnsons baby shampoo, and also three bags with meds and instruction labels. 1) Ambien - 3 to help me sleep 2) prednisone (10mg) - 1 in morning and 1 at night for 3 days 3) Keflex (500mg) - 3x a day for x days. There was also two pages instructions for same day, next day, day 3,4,5 and day 6. My wife scooped me up and off we went. I was instructed to sleep at a 30-45 degree angle, on my back. I took my meds and eventually went to sleep after a light dinner.

This is intentionally misleading and should be illegal. Unfortunately, the problems at this place go beyond the deceptive name. The lack of specialized training shows up in the results. I received poorly placed sculptra that distorted my face, making my entire jaw look masculine and square. During my follow-up appointment, Dr. Payman gave me a list of bizarre and pseudoscientific explanations for my bad result that made zero sense. These included that I'd lost 2 pounds (how could this make my face look heavier?!?), that I had an undiagnosed autoimmune condition (what?), that I needed to eat a low-salt diet, and that my lip filler had migrated (which I guess somehow made my jaw look swollen?). There were about 20 others...Anything to avoid acknowledging that the obvious problem was in one area: the area that she had injected. Finally, the whole clinic experience is super unprofessional. It feels like it's thrown together as someone's hobby rather than a serious business. Nobody answers the phone during open hours. During my second appointment, I waited for over an hour by myself in an exam room for a single sculptra vial. Dr. Payman didn't give an explanation for the delay. I think they forgot about me (maybe while filming social media videos?). Then, while rushing to finish my appointment, ended up reconstituting the sculptra incorrectly, resulting in my poor outcome. Final notes: the clinic has a lot of 5-star reviews online (they convinced me, too) but the staff give you a financial incentive to write a positive review BEFORE you are treated. They also make you pay for Botox, filler, etc., before you receive treatment. I've been to many other med spas, and have never seen either of these practices before. There are many other wonderful med spas in Atlanta- Ovme, Aya, Skin Pharm, Artisan Beaute, etc. They are all professional businesses with injectors who take their jobs seriously. You will have to have numbing shots all over your head and the serum burns. It hurts. Don't be fooled. #2 - You can go right back to work. You have just had hundreds of little holes jabbed into your head. My head was swollen and I had fluid in my face and forehead. I looked like an experiment for 3 solid days. A hat will not hardly hide this. #3 - P.R.P is unlimited for a year. You cannot get more than 6 per year. A valum is normally provided but if no surgery is scheduled for the day the pill case is locked and no one can get inside it and you have no pain pills. Basically you get what you pay for but no more than that. Customer service can be much better. Waiting to be serviced can be annoying also.

It didn't seem like they took the time to truly plan out strategic placement of hair and the surgery WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AND ACTUALLY HURT- they kept saying...just a little more. The other thing is - I asked the Dr to pls be careful with how much hair they shave to remove the donor hair from the back of my head- apparently totally disregarded this and it looked like I was in a horrible accident- a little embarrassing as I attended meetings at my Corp office. It took over a month for my hair to grow back and cover the huge scar that went practically from ear to ear. The first time I believe he made a mistake as it DID go from ear to ear. I communicated my disappointment and, can you believe, NO ONE (including the owner) could spare 3 mins to pick up the phone and give me a call?? I spend OVER $11,000 in this place.
