I returned to my normal esthetician due to the smell in the salon from the nail products.   Fast forward to July 2021, it has been 4 weeks since I had my eyebrows shaped and my esthetician was fully booked, thankfully Sofi had one opening for Friday, the July 4th holiday weekend. Good news is she is out of Jazzy Nails and has her own space in Tucker....it is super cute!   Details -soFACE brow studio is located in Tucker and is appointment only, you schedule everything online through acuity scheduling; it provides a description of each service and the price. Sofi is the owner, she is a licensed esthetician and brow specialist; this business is women and black owned. Check out her IG account for link to scheduling and pics of her work (@soface_bysofi).   Customer service - Sofi is very friendly, professional, and has very positive energy.   Service - Both visits I've had my brows shaped and tinted ($30), this included precise brow shaping, threading, and a professional brow tint that lasts up to 2 weeks.  I use to frequent random threading shops and only pay $13 but I was often not pleased with the work, my eyebrow were ruined, or the shape was different. It really makes a difference going to a brow specialist, you truly get what you pay for and I have no problem paying $30 every 3 - 4 weeks for a tint and shape.

I opted for what I thought would be a paler shade of pastel orange on my fingers (it was not) and a deep red on my toes. There were two ladies working on me simultaneously, which made me feel extra pampered. The first lady did a good job on my toes, thank god. However, the second lady working my mani cut a huge chunk of skin off while trimming my cuticles. She apologized profusely, but maybe it wouldn't have happened if she wasn't have a constant conversation with her friend behind her. I also wasn't a huge fan of how I was asked to pay and tip before I even got my mani and I was halfway through my pedi. How was I supposed to tip before I got the service? Isn't that the purpose of a tip? I gave 18-20% but after what happened with my mani... I did regret it a little. My sister almost walked out without paying because both her and her nail stylist didn't realize I only paid for myself (I had asked to pay for both of ours but the manicurist must have missed the memo on that one). Treat Your Nails isn't terrible. It's affordable and conveniently located to Buford Highway's restaurants and ahem, bubble tea shops. However, if you're looking for a luxury experience, this isn't the place.

I normally go to a rather popular spot in Midtown for my brazilians, (I've visited others, as well) and I ALWAYS leave a bit sticky, and noticing a few missed hairs here and there. Joi is VERY thorough and wants to ensure you get the best waxing. The girl knows her stuff! What really impressed me was how knowledgeable she was about hair, skin and upkeep.
