I had the expectation that you would receive what was promised. I was told they match you based on your preferences, personality, etc. it's not true. I've had 5 dates and not one has been a match to my requests. It was just like throwing darts at a wall. The person who was my assigned contact would hardly return calls. She was never available to chat and it has been the absolute worst experience. I imagine my dates were also frustrated. I was told I would get feedback, they would work closely with me, and that just hasn't been the case. The matches have been way off. I'll get, "oh sorry, our mistake..." or "he must have lied to us." Do not waste your money. It's a scam. They don't not do what they promise. I don't expect my "soulmate", but I do expect at least a 25% match in qualities. But never got it. Also, the dating etiquette of most of the men was horrible...Sometimes worse than the apps. Most had no concern on settling up time/place until late the night before. Or they stalk you online going to your professional websites, etc. Ami who works at Atlanta matchmakers also had a good excuse for them like "oh I just need to help them see the right way to do things, etc". It's all BS. It's $5000+ and a complete waste of money. They promised, in writing before the next match they would call me to discuss. Guess what, no call, and no response to emails. They assured that, were meets to not go well that: (1) they would provide advice based off the feedback on the meeting given by my date and (2) they would gradually get a better fit for me based off my own feedback. What I wasted four-figures on was an extremely impersonal experience in which I was tossed dates that I had absolutely nothing in common with, there was no betterment as I went through dates, and I did not receive a single tidbit of promised advice from Single Atlanta. In fact, I would go several weeks without hearing from the company and I'm sure they'd of been perfectly fine never communicating with me after collecting my money, as I had to initiate any time I wanted an update from them. Any concerns I addressed, such as the aforementioned, as well as them somehow managing to get my age wrong, them sending me emails addressed to other clients, etc. were left uncorrected and indifferently blown off without fail. I joined Single Atlanta 5 years ago, I paid $4,000 for 10 matches. I was originally told that I could put my account on hold if I met someone. the first match was not a home run. Felt like it was a test. Second match was much better but, he traveled, and was not in town often. Within six months, I met someone on my own. at that time I requested my membership be put on hold. approximately 18 months later I reached out to Single. Atlanta and asked to reactivate my account. At this time I was told my membership had expired. so, $4000 for 2 matches!! I was told to join now it would be $5500 starting point and they wouldn't tell me how many matches that included. BE AWARE I would have never paid cash for this service if I known that I would lose my money and my membership. No notice prior to them cancelling my membership. I question the integrity of this business. Qwners would not respond after being told by scheduling person that would ask one of the twins to call me. I wish that I had a better experience and I had high hopes when I joined. The problem with this company is that they don't actively participate in learning what their clients want. I was a member for over a year and only had 1 matchmaker who I felt really cared and tried. Her name was Angela but she is no longer with the company. Angela was fantastic, she listened and understood what I was looking for. I was passed to at least 3 other matchmakers who were more interested in putting me on as many dates as they could instead of caring about what I wanted. This is an expensive service that should offer more than you can find on Eharmony but they don't. You are better off using a dating site and saving your money. read more

My recommendation is to be VERY WARY of these two gals. Yes, they are cute and vivacious and will be very persuasive. They are also extremely expensive, as I learned when I sat for an interview with one of their assistants. Maybe their pricing policy has changed. But before you commit a sizable sum of money, be sure to ask how many men they have in their pool and how they find acceptable dates. This is a borderline fraudulent service. They charge way too much money for a service achievable for free through the usual online dating apps. I also feel that this company's reps never truly gave me the time of day. I see reviews about weekly check ins and whatnot. I never got anything close to that. The first 1-2 matches had enough commonality and just didnt work out due to lifestyle differences, but with the last 4 matches I received they were throwing darts at random and matching me with individuals I had zero commonality or attraction towards. After Angela (the one good matchmaker) left the company, the remaining reps never got to know me and dismissed any preferences I wanted added to my profile. It is easy to give a shout out to Lisa, Leisha, Kathlene and the SA team because of having had the personal benefit of not only experiencing their professionalism but the results they were hired to accomplish. I have had to go on hold more than once because of the quality and great fit of introductions made. Of course, not every introduction was one to follow into another meeting but I learned early on to recognize that they made introductions with intention and to get out of my own way with quick judgments. As a heavy traveler and professional facing a full world, I appreciated their ability to work around my schedule with introductions and save the time sump of profile reviews and non-productive email exchanges. I have been a client and have spoken to a number of others, who have been clients of this company. The company makes promises of a professional team making hand- selected matches, but the reality is that they have very few male clients to send on any dates. The dates they did set-up were not close to what I was looking for, but since the owner spent only 15 minutes talking about me, it should not have been surprising. The initial interview consisted of one of the owners telling me for 90 minutes about the company (known as a sales pitch) and making no further contact. The only "relationship" they make is with the money they collect. I wish I could have donated my money to anyone other than these disreputable owners. read more

I didn't have great expectations, but they definitely fell short of the service level they claim to have. This is an extremely small company with very few resources. Think about that when they tell you about the thousands of people in their database that match your criteria. The hard reality is that they have a limited number of clients to match you with and only a few matchmakers to match everyone. This equates to their staff having no time to really consider who might be a good match. Instead, they seem to just throw two people together to satisfy their monthly match requirement. If you want to validate what I'm saying, just read all the reviews on the web and note how they all reference the same few staff names. You should also read the GlassDoor comments from past employees which underscores how they operate. Another issue is that they have little to no communication with you (and they literally have one email for everyone in the company). They are extremely responsive when trying to get someone signed as a client, but after that they don't have time to respond to your emails and don't bother to read or pay attention to anything you say in them. It's very disappointing. They seem like nice people, however they are either incapable of doing the job or too overwhelmed to do their job well. Either way, this isn't good for their clients. I realize this is an extremely difficult business and everyone probably has grand visions of what a service like this might do for their life, but if you want to try a matchmaking firm I would suggest you look elsewhere. The larger firms have more clients which means more people that might align with your match criteria. What can I say? I was wooed by this company to join. I have been a client of Singles Atlanta for over a year and have had two dates "that count" toward their contract commitment. The others did not count due to the "gentleman's behavior". I have no interaction with the staff except the introduction email. This introduction has height, color of hair and eyes and a very short paragraph with "details" about your date's interests. There is no picture. When I tell you there is more information on any of the dating sites, it's an understatement. I am just looking for love just like everyone else. I live very OTP (Outside The Perimeter - Atlanta). I have a graduate degree and I am very active. Like another review mentioned, I believe that some of the Meetup groups, church groups and organized activities are the way to go along with a basic subscription to one of the online dating sites. Believe me when you do a pro/con benefit statement for where your money is going. I wish everyone the best of luck. Free dating sites yield better results than these supposed "match makers." When I went in for my initial visit they promised the world and delivered nothing. I was told they had multiple people in their pool for the ranges of ages I asked for. They sell to you that it takes 5-6 matches before they find someone right for you, which is also when they ask you to extend your dates and pay them even more money. I gave them an age range and they constantly kept trying to get me to go out with people outside of it because they did not have anyone in my range. Not what they sold me up front. They even set me up with someone who did not even pay for the service and was just "trying it out" on a trial basis. So I was paying with the intent to meet someone and this person had no stake in the game. But they had no problem with taking my money and wasting my time. I have been enrolled in their pool for over a year and gone out on 3 dates. None of which were remotely close to what I told them I would prefer in a match. They would also constantly set me up with people in their pool who were not even on the market and looking to meet. I am current client of this organization. The initial conversation with Kelly-Marketing and Rick-Executive Matchmaker per the website went well around the end of February. Rick interviewed me for around an 1 hour and half where I told him my life history and all my desires. I saw that he was taking notes which was a plus because I thought they really cared about what I wanted and needed. When he first told me the price, it seemed a little high but I did research that price point and it seemed to be average for this type of service. He sold me a service where your "Match Maker" is supposed to be very interactive with you and would be "walking with you every step of the way." I was very impressed with him and Kelly and he introduced me to my match maker. I was very hopeful about the service as I have done some online dating but not much. Unfortunately, since my initial discussion with Rick, I have not receive any of the services that I was sold. I have since just received unfilled promises by my former match maker "Angela" and from the current owner. Below is a time line and dates of the horrible service I have received thus far. I received my first match via email in March of 2019 and I was disappointed because it was nothing that I had discussed with Rick maybe except for one thing. So I told myself I would be open to talking to him. I talked to him on the phone and the profile that they sent me via email was completely incorrect. There was one huge mistake on the profile that I was sent via email. To respect the privacy of the other person, I will not post a picture of the profile they sent me with the errors. I called them the next business day and my match maker asked me to still meet with him although I had expressed my disappointment in the incorrect information and the interaction with him overall. To be a good sport, I went and met with I him and questioned him about the things that the "service" said he likes to do and he basically said no to all of it. I sent a very candid email and advised them that I wasn't paying to have these type of matches. They apologized for the error and gave me a "free match" because of the huge mistake. Unfortunately, since that time I have had the same experience as Stacia and Dorothy. I have not had any consistency with the process or my current match maker. I even talked to the owner on my do over match because I was told by Kelly and Rick that my match maker at one point and voiced the same concerns about the process because I wasn't experiencing what Rick had discussed with interview. My hard earned money is being taken-stolen at this point. I asked to be let out of the agreement because I wasn't getting the service that I was sold by Rick and I have a match maker who has not been invested in me. I am very reasonable person but like Stacia I am very disappointed in the lack of involvement. I was told that mymatchmaker is part-time and goes to school but I am not paying part time money so why do I have a part time matchmaker??? Of course, as they have told everyone else you can't get out agreement so I have no choice but to continue or basically I am out of money that I could have spent on a down payment on car or vacation. I have been very vocal from the start about my discontentment with the whole process because what was the point of having the interview with Rick and completing paper work if they do not read it to help find a match for you. Maybe they do not have enough minority clientele, but if that is the case than we should have been given that disclaimer in the beginning."They said they are here for me...." I told them based on my experience I have not seen that to be true and I would love for them to prove me wrong about my experience thus far. I was told that I should not ask any other members about the service they are receiving. What company tells you that unless they are providing you with bad service? I have never heard such non-sense before in my life! I was so disgusted that I put this on Yelp! A couple of hours later Angela asking me to give her another chance and to please take the review down from Yelp! She said she wanted to make things right and believed that it was God that was working things out between she and I. I thought she was sincere and took the review down. She called me once a week for the next couple of weeks. I heard from her on 7-16-18 and 7-27-18 about someone named Clarence. She said she was doing something special for me and looking outside the current pool (basically marketing for African American/minority males my age because they had none). Since that time Angela is on sabbatical because she couldn't do school and matchmaking. Lisa called me personally to say that she was monitoring me and I have not heard from Lisa the owner or my new matchmaker Joy in two months but they continue to take payments! I paid $4000 to work with Kathleen, who claimed she was one of the owners, and i was expecting extra service and attention for this price. I was set up on three dates, the first one rudely walked out after 15 minutes claiming were weren't a match. After telling Kathleen about my experience she told me he was a "gentleman" and asked that I not contact him again because it was making him uncomfortable. As if I did something wrong. The second date never called. The third date showed up with a friend and claimed it was a last minute visit so he had to bring him along. Weird. We went out a second time and had a good date, after which he revealed he was still in a relationship but Single Atlanta called him because they were short on men to set up. This is the worst service and I would not recommend them when you can find online dates for free. I've never even met Lisa or Leisha or been contacted by one of the owners after my multiple complaints. A friend signed me up for SIngle Atl so I decided to go along. I went to the initial interview ... it was so odd. My apt was at 11, I arrived at 11:05. I was given a quick application to complete. The problem ... the receptionist never came back. I called out in the building but no one answered. At 11:28, I took my application and left. I got a call at 11:40 asking where I was. Really? Are you kidding me? I told the receptionist I was no longer interested and just said Bye and hung up the phone. Not what you would expect from a supposedly upscale dating service. They never call to follow up and you sign up for 6 months with 6 dates to later be told "oh, that was a mistake - you could be in this program for 3 years""we are so sorry you are not happy and have great prospects for you" but later told, we won't charge you until we get prospects. I purchased the most expensive package (2 year commitment). I am 15 months in and only had 3 introductions (guaranteed 15 in the contract, so I guess I'm about to get really busy). They are more than willing to work around your schedule for your first meeting and contract signing (Sunday afternoon), but after that, if you want additional face-to-face interaction, it has to be 9 to 5 M-F. I have never received any feedback from my "dates". In my opinion, this is not worth the money. read more

Ummm... yeah, not that great. Very expensive for the less-than-desirable matches and dates. I honestly don't know how they come up with these "matches" because none of them had any similarities to one another or to what I requested and was looking for. It was almost like SA was just randomly selecting dates out of a hat for me in rapid time simply to produce results and seem quick and efficient. I clearly explained to them that I had no problem waiting a while for a match if it meant that the person was high caliber and similar to what I was looking for, but that didn't seem to register with the match makers at SA. I felt like they were just pimping me out on dates to make the men who had paid more money than I did happy to go on a date with a woman out of their league. They even offered to give me sample dates after I expressed my dissatisfaction. I felt insulted and disappointed by that offer because I am not an escort who has all the time in the world to be going on free dates with random guys. I would rather meet 2 or 3 quality men, even if it didn't result in anything long term, than have 15 dates just for the hell of it. I by no means am trying to sound harsh or rude, and, as a professional myself, I respect the fact that SA is a business and its employees have obligations and a job to do. However, I am a reasonably attractive and successful woman, and there is absolutely no reason my business with them should have been handled the way it was. If the match makers at SA understood that when people are paying the kind of money they are for these services that they expect quality not just quantity, I think they would have a larger number of happy clients. Things would not have ended on such poor terms if they would have just respected me as an individual and what I was wanting, instead of just firing away with the random matches and dates. I would not have been unhappy if I didn't end up with a relationship as long as I felt like I was getting what I paid and signed up for: meeting decent quality men on the same level. I realize this has been a long review, and I appreciate those of you still reading because I wanted to share my experience that way you can have as much information as possible before making a decision, and also to SA, that way maybe you all can improve some aspects of your business model. He called me that Monday morning to tell me how well it went and to thank me for the introduction to Lisa and her staff. A week later, he had not heard back from the woman he had gone out with and was a little heartbroken. A year later he still had not found his Unicorn, and had gotten a bit discouraged with the service. I called Lisa to ask her what was going on. She explained that he wasn't doing the service the way they were telling him to do it. If the women they were matching him with weren't in his very small mold, he didn't want to go out with them. So I called my friend and told him to let Lisa set him up with who SHE thought would be good for him and to have a open mind about the date, and to stop acting like a Jenny Craig client. You know the person who says they're going to Jenny Craig & eats the meals but also eats their own meals and complains that they aren't losing any weight. Ok, he was being that guy. Shortly there after, he finally started doing it the Single Atlanta way, and low and behold, he has met the love of his life! My friend is by far the happiest I've ever seen him today thanks to Lisa and the great people of Single Atlanta! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! It might as well be a dating company scam! 1. Biggest waste of money...cheapest package is $2000. They will try and pressure you into spending way above this. 2. Worst customer service! No one will respond to emails or phone calls. 3. Awful selection of men! They will tell you it's only professionals that have spent their time building careers and don't want the hassle of dating, but it's more like these guys couldn't get a date even if they paid for it! This company is a total disappointment. They match you with people who don't match what you are looking for. For example- I specified that I was looking for a man who is either married or divorced. I have been matched with 2 men who are neither. I feel as if they move men from 1 women to the next without even looking at your profile/ desires. I think this company is a scam!! I am beginning to wonder if they search Craigslist for men as options for me and pay them to meet me. Do they even ask the men what they are looking for? For example- long term or just dating or to eventually get married. I sent them an e-mail yesterday re my concerns and all I received was an e-mail staying that they will forward me another match.
