Local rave about the pizza. It's an abundance of low-quality toppings on frozen crust. Definitely NOT worth the drive all the way to Atlants

We had the onion rings which were the best we ever had. Hint, ask for the ranch dressing that is made in house.... WOW!! Then we went for a meat lovers pizza that was incredible and made in about 10 min. Due to their awsome brick oven. But, maybe the best part was the service. We had the manager Kim for a waitress and enjoyed a great conversation with her as we were there when it wasn't very busy. Kim... Enjoyed you very much. To sum up, great meal at a resonable price. We would definitely recomend and will be back if ever in the area again.

I was worried it was gonna be some bland, frozen, and bulk bought pizza that you'd typically find in a bowling alley concession stand. However, it was late, I was hungry, and I was feeling a little adventurous...so what the heck! Am I glad I stuck around! The vibe is what it is...a pizza joint connected to a bowling alley in Indiana. Not flashy...no frills...but the server was super nice and took incredible care of us. One of the first wins was being able to get a half and half pizza...all the pizzas looked good and we could just pick one. So glad we didn't! Both were incredible! We got the works and the buffalo chicken pizza! The crust was perfect! Just the right amount of char and crisp you want from a wood oven pizza to hold the toppings as well as a tasty chewiness! The toppings were super flavorful and there was plenty to take home for the next day! I would absolutely come back next time I'm in the area...maybe even walk over and bowl a couple games!

As you walk up the building there are flames and all sorts of awesome branding covering the building. Next when you walk in you're hit with incredible aromas from all the yummy food. We got in line and were helped by a very friendly hostess who took our order. We loved how many gluten free items they had and how serious they took our gluten free order. They change their gloves when handling our order and write it all in bold letters so no one can miss it! We waited nearly an hour for our food but when it came out it was all very good! To start our cauliflower cheese "bread" came out and it was super crunchy and yummy. Some might not like how crunchy it was but we loved it. Next our pizza came out and it was a really solid gluten free pizza! Next our ribs and wings came out. The wings were just okay and the ribs themselves were also just okay (they were dry) but let me tell you.. the baked beans were top notch! Might be some of the best baked beans I've ever had. Overall I think with the wait and some of the food coming out just okay.. a 4/5 is very fair for this place! We will be back and will be recommending it to people.

Pizza King has been an Indiana institution since the first one popped up in 1958 in Muncie,…read moreIndiana. Over the past 60 years, it has grown to right around 45 locations focused on East-Central Indiana. This includes this spot in Tipton, Indiana catty-corner to the Tipton County Courthouse. Like most pizza joints, Pizza King has those who embrace it with passion and those who wonder "What's the big deal?" As I'm from Indy, I experience Pizza King less as it seems to mostly focus on the smaller communities that surround Indy. Pizza King is passionate about using fresh, not frozen, ingredients along with pizza toppings that go to the edge of the pizza. There's no wasting space here. From the outside, this location looks like it's going to be a run-of-the-mill Pizza King, but it's a lot more fun inside with a sort of retro-vibe in terms of atmosphere and decor. There's a small concrete ramp leading up to the door. However, I will note that they have have a video game that is somewhat of an obstacle to accessing the back rooms. If someone had a larger, motorized chair it probably wouldn't happen. There's a smaller front room that can be used, but you have to get past the video game for the private room and for the larger dining area. This really is a major issue to me as it could easily be a fire hazard and is pretty easily fixed. Thus, the loss of a star here. Beyond the obstacle, this was a really awesome experience. The servers were mostly younger, but our server was friendly, helpful, and top-notch with the service. I gathered with several people due to my fund-raising event and we had multiple varied orders. Everything came out correctly and everything was quite good. I had a pepperoni/sausage pizza and my usual iced tea. I was a bit nervous about eating pizza the night before I needed to go wheeling, but typically when ingredients are fresh things work out. There was no problem here. As a longtime James Dean fan, I enjoyed the decor that had a 50's vibe to it with multiple pieces of James Dean memorabilia. I didn't try the breadsticks as I just didn't trust my body to handle it with my next day's wheeling, but I was really happy with this entire experience. The food was good, the prices fair, the atmosphere warm and fun, the employees friendly and helpful, and the locals were friendly and welcoming. I'd easily return when I'm in the Tipton area. In my somewhat smaller chair, I was able to get by the video game (barely) and I still consider it worth the effort to make it happen. My understanding is they have lunch specials and occasional buffets. Check their website for more info - the same family owns this spot and Alexandria, Indiana's location.

I had a small pizza and a side salad as they didn't have any salad and slice specials. The salad was quickly served very crisp and fresh the pizza came soon after and it had plenty of cheese but I think they could probably use a different type of oven as the crust was kind of soggy. The price was fine for these post Covid price times. I will definitely go here again and maybe try something else

Beers named 'Socks and Sandals, Pull My Finger, I'll Turn this Car Around' and many more. Their tin tacker is of a slightly obese dad in an undersized sleeveless shirt, headband and white New Balance sneakers riding a beer can. Perfection. Genius! While their humor got me in the door, their pizza and beer will get me to come back. I got my standard flight with I'll Turn This Car Around (Hazy IPA), Kiss the Cook (DIPA), Snooze Button (Imperial Stout) and a Tapestry of Obscenity (IPA). All were really great but The Snooze Button was my favorite of the bunch. We also got a couple of pizzas. A Detroit style called Motown with thick pepperoni, hot honey, and basil which was very tasty and a Margherita pizza that was solid. My only issue was they were out of stickers for my man cave wall but that's just all the reason to go back next time I visit my parents in Indiana.
