As a family from the East Coast, we are always searching for a pizza joint that offers anything that resembles a classic New York slice. Luckily, we found Bella Pizzeria in the Hamilton Town Center mall! The pizza tastes and looks more like authentic New York than just "New York-style." Also, the large pies can feed 4 people for a very affordable price. When I'm not in the mood for pizza, I usually opt for the breadsticks or garlic knots, which are basically Heaven in bread form. They are buttery, garlicky, and are made even better when dipped in cheese or marinara sauce. One small thing that is certainly worth mentioning is that Bella's customer service is unmatched. Whether you call ahead for pickup or order at the restaurant, every staff member is so polite and welcoming. It's just another thing that makes Bella one of my favorite pizza places! So we just ordered delivery from here and it was our first time trying their restaurant so we got some of everything. We got an XL build your own with pepperoni bacon onion and extra cheese. Not sure if they put extra cheese or not. Definitely not in my opinion. The pizza was decent. We then ordered a baked ziti pasta and lasagna which both come with 3 garlic knots. We love bread so we were excited for the garlic knots but they were hard and like rubber. Same with the 4piece pepperoni sticks. The cheesy weezy was a little better but not much. I think it's near closing time for them as we placed our order at 7pm tonight but still we were charged the same $60 that anyone else would have paid so we expect fresh quality food too. Bella Pizzeria is one of three locations of a Central Indiana mini-chain with spots in Noblesville, Carmel, and Indy. I recall not having a good experience at the East 86th Street location, though I also recall being impressed when the local ownership responded to the review. That always impresses me. I actually remembered that review when I saw this spot while looking for a place to grab a quick bite to eat during lunch break from a conference. I wasn't in the mood for a heavy meal, though I was looking to dine in. I was pretty sure this spot was connected to the East 86th Street location and, upon getting home, confirmed this to be true. Bella serves up pizza by the pie or slice, calzones, pizza rolls, pasta, salads, desserts, and a kids' menu. They do have a rewards program, while those using the Yelp app can snag 3 free garlic knots. This is located in Hamilton Town Center. I parked behind Town Center in an accessible parking spot. The main entrance is on the front side, a one-sided door that goes up to a counter where you order then move forward to pay. They tell you when it's ready, though in my case he actually brought it to me. For just under $6, I snagged a pepperoni slice, my 3 free garlic knots, and a large unsweetened iced tea. They carry Gold Peak Iced Tea in the fountain alongside Coke products. They also have sweet tea. The drinks are self-serve. The interior is actually surprisingly small. They have a row of high-top tables along the windows, while accessible tables are in the middle with a couple off to the side. During warmer days, they actually have a decent sized outdoor seating area that looks quite pleasant. The employee working was quite friendly. Considering how many people I have seen at 86th Street, I was somewhat surprised that it seemed like he might be alone. That may be wrong, though. Regardless, he was helpful and friendly and honored the Yelp app special. While I found seating a bit tight, overall, I was able to enjoy my meal and get some reading done before returning to my conference. So, I was happy. The pizza slice was solid. It's certainly not the best I've ever had, but I enjoyed it and would easily order it again. The garlic knots were delicious. I loved being able to refill my iced tea for the road. Unlike my 86th Street experience, this was positive across the board. 3.5 is probably more accurate, but I considered it above average and 3 feels too low. So, 4 stars it is. The pizza is considered NY style. While certainly not a destination pizza joint, as a quick option for a slice of pizza (or a whole one, for that matter) it's good for those in the area. My guess is it will probably live into that 4-star even more solidly once outdoor dining is an option. read more

So I was next door picking up Five Guys for the family and decided to pop over and try Bella again since I didn't want a burger. Really glad I did! They weren't very busy and I ordered a 14" Bella (spicy sausage, garlic, pepperoni, and roasted peppers). Really very tasty, more so than I remember from last time. The peppers were a nice touch, the sauce was adequate, enough cheese, and the familiar floppy NY style triangles. Spicy sausage was generous. I was wearing my USMC hat as were and offered a military discount. Very much appreciated. Very happy with my most recent experience and probably will make another stop when the urge hits. read more

NY style pizza in Indiana? Why did it take us so long to find this place?!!? Nothing beats being able to walk up and say, "I want THAT slice", and getting it! My favorite is the margherita pizza. Cheezy wheezy breadsticks with marinara dipping sauce is pretty darn good too. My ONLY complaint is that I wish they always had my favorite pizzas right there ready. They don't always have margarita for me or buffalo chicken for the hubs. BUT, it forces us to try something different, and we find new flavors we like. This is the last time we order from this location, Bellas. Past 3 orders the quality has been getting worse. The bread isn't cooked all the way, the cheese, but we let it slide. We don't give negative feedback. Yet I'm feeding my family here. To serve old green peppers, burnt with a horrible taste.. it's just disappointing. I spoke with the guy who made it and he didn't care about my concerns or issues that I had with this order. He said it looked fine to him and he made it and said to return the pizza back to him and he'd make a new one with the same green peppers. I asked to leave them out and I'd gladly give him the old pizza back to get a new one. No refund or anything was done for the guy to go out of his way to satisfy a customer. Fantastic! It was admittedly hard to find (thank god for Apple maps directing me) but worth it because the pizza was excellent! I read up on it here beforehand and planned on ordering a pizza to carry out and take back to my hotel but when I arrived I saw that they offer individual slices. I definitely don't need to eat an entire pizza, and leftovers in a hotel room is always a hassle, so I was very happy with this option and ordered two slices. The employee working that side of the counter was extremely helpful in helping me decide, as I was torn on what slices to get. A slice of pepperoni was a given but there was one pizza that was half BBQ chicken and half buffalo chicken and it was because of his recommendation that I went with the BBQ chicken. I'm glad I did because it was leaps and bounds better than the pepperoni slice I got. Looking back, I wish I had just gotten two slices of that instead. The pepperoni was good, don't get me wrong. But pepperoni pizza is just...pepperoni pizza. I also ordered 2 pepperoni breadsticks, and they were good. Plus they came with a nacho cheese sauce that I didn't know would come with, but am glad it did because it made them just that much better. It's a small place, but it wasn't hard finding a table and I was able to eat in peace as I decided to dine-in thanks to the ease of having just a couple slices. Several frustrations with this place with my last visit and it's not a first... Ordered multiple pizzas online plus breadsticks. Nothing crazy or difficult, but my order was messed up. Funny the online system says they're ensuring quality on the order. Unfortunately, it's complete fluff. I looked into the box prior to leaving and noticed the error. They attempted to give me a sausage & roasted chicken pizza, instead of a sausage and roasted red pepper pizza. Obviously a mistake, but anyone would realize their error was making an unusual order. I was given a tiny apology and said they'd fix the issue. But it would take 15 minutes. No we'll cover our error or compensate me for my troubles (update they offered me a two liter prior to leaving)... The pizzas here are usually decent, nothing special, but above average. I've had issues with rude staff in the past (long ago & those individuals are no longer there), but due to my location, they always weren't better options besides national chains. My 1 star review: Goes towards the lack of customer experience. One of the pizzas was cold and cardboard like crust (from sitting in the box for 20 extra minutes), the re-made pizza was great. They seem to offer delivery, but it's only on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday??? (I say this because as placing an order online, it said today's delivery is closed. I attempted to place my order at 6pm on a Thursday). So not a full service pizza place during the week (using the website). This is my favorite to go pizza place here in indiana so far. I've been living here for three years and I'm from NYC and this definitely is the closest I've found to NY style pizza since I've been here. The cheese is yummy the bread is the right texture, sauce is yummy. I really don't have any complaints. It even beats Goodfellas down on mass ave. I usually get the cheese but I've tried the pepperoni as well which is great. Have to try the margarita next time. The online ordering is a nice feature but as an added bonus, you can monitor the progress of your pizza. Our delivery estimate was close to an hour and the pizza was here within 40 minutes. The prices are higher than Marco's or some of the other local places, but the portions are HUGE. When they say a 6 piece Sicilian, they are talking huge pieces. I actually cut each piece in half and we have tons of leftovers. We also ordered the spinach chicken salad and it was very good. The spinach was nice and fresh and the chicken was cut into small pieces and then the salad was sprinkled with a generous amount of Romano cheese. Really love Bella and so glad we are in the delivery zone! My husband grew up on NY style pizza and it's my preferred style as well. This is as close as you can get here in Indiana! I love their white pizza, it's my go to. The ricotta and the ground pepper just really make it great. Is Bella Pizzeria the best pizza around? Nope. Is it the worst? Not even. What it is is exceptionally decent pizza for the style and place. It's mall pizza in the NY style. They have a wide variety of tasty toppings and the service is always prompt and courteous. It's a serviceable slice of pie in a town with no other real options for NY style pizza. I've bought it by the slice (our usual method) and by the pie and both were good, with the whole, fresh baked pie edging out the slices by a good margin. It's not cheap, but it won't break the bank, either. If you're in the area and want pizza you could do a lot worse than stopping in at Bella for a slice. read more

I live in Columbus, OH and am frequently in Indy for business. I found Bella Pizza when searching for delivery in Noblesville and my life hasn't been the same since. The pain and stress of my often weekly travel for work has been lightened by the White Pizza. I would seriously make the 6 hour round trip drive just for a slice. The delivery is always faster than expected, and every delivery guy has been more than pleasant. I also add extra tip because they bring the hot pizza right to my hotel room. Bella Pizzeria (please to be spelling the restaurant name correctly) was unexpectedly fantastic. My overall opinion of the restaurants in this faux-neighbourhood shopping district is that they're the kind of places that ride on their reputations rather than their actual quality, but Bella Pizzeria is a delightful exception. The crust is thin, but more in the New York style rather than in the crackerish style made popular by subpar chains like Donato's. The sauce was fresh and extremely flavourful, and it was topped with nothing more than fresh mozzarella and basil. I'm accustomed to more cheese coverage on my pizzas, but the quality and taste of this pizza more than made up for the initial impression of insufficient toppings. A little pricy for this area, but well worth the indulgence once in a while. read more
