Two days later I haven't heard back…read more Here's a rather snotty reply from the apparent owner on this exact subject: "Thank you for recognizing that we're extremely busy. I understand your position. We do the best we can balancing our time to actually do our work and respond to inquiries. I can't apologize for being successful, and hope you understand our situation." Apparently, answering customer inquiries is not "our work." As for the unforgivably high-handed "I can't apologize for being successful" I would say that if you're that "successful" you should be able to afford to hire someone to answer the phone and handle customer inquiries. Could you imagine leaving your guitar with them and then having to jump through hoops, if not show up in person, to find out if it's ready for pickup? Here are a couple of reviews reproduced here for your convenience: "this place is terrible, no communication with the customers, terrible interactions and no common sense! do not take your instruments here, find somewhere else to take your business. If I could leave 0 stars I definitely would!" "Don't go here if you value your time as they certainly won't. You can't just drop off a guitar during normal business hours, you have to make an appointment. No problem! I took the first available appointment (10:30am on a Friday) and notified my employer that I would have to pop out of the office that day to drop off my guitar. When I arrived the door was locked and lights were off. No problem! I'm 5 minutes early I'll just wait. When 10:35 rolled around, I decided to call their number. No answer but the voicemail system recommended I text them. So I left a voicemail and sent a text and then waited in my car. I waited until 10:50 for a response before I left. When I got back to my office, I received a very curt response that they had arrived at 10:45. No apology for no call/no show, not a single attempt to make it right. I'll enclose screenshots of that lovely conversation. I will take my business elsewhere." Needless to say, a word to the wise is sufficient.

He teaches context and reasons for playing techniques instead of just following a textbook- this makes the learning applicable across many different situations. Josh (owner) is very friendly and no pressure for sales. He's helpful, knowledgeable, and likewise multi-instrumental. I began looking at mandolins and he gave great advice in selection. He was then able to quickly secure what I was looking for, gave a totally competitive price, plus his professional, luthier set-up on its arrival. So glad to have this service nearby! The instrument and case were in impeccable condition and the staff was extremely helpful. I strongly suggest adding the insurance to your rental for $10 extra a month. His sax broke at one point and all I had to do was drop it off, get a temporary replacement and wait a week for them to fix it. Easy peasy. The return was just as easy as the rental. Should he decide to continue with band, I'll be back!
