My niece and I found our way to the Atlantic Beach Arts Market a few weeks ago. They had an event on Facebook which brought this spot to my attention. Wow! If you love supporting local businesses you must stop by! So many wonderful items. You will find art in all forms, from paintings, to stained glass kitchen tables, candles, baby items, jewelry, vintage cloths and novelties such as record players. It took us a few hours to look at everything. They had live music to brighten the mood. As well as food, some of which was prepared by some of the artists. It was a lovely food spread with wine and local beer. There was also a gentleman demonstrating how to shave wood out back of the building. There were a few artists painting on the scene which was cool. If I were rich I would have spent a ton of money! I would recommend the arts market if you're looking for an original gift or an original piece for your home. Lots of beach themed items. read more

Tucked off Mayport Rd is this cute art house! The coastal color of the building is so inviting. With hanging baskets and flowers outside, it's eye candy from the moment you park. Once inside, the artists heart leaps! With local artists selling their wares, you'll find everything from paintings, pillows, and jewelry to tables, antiques and woodwork.. Strolling through here made me so happy! The stained glasswork is just my favorite! T-shirts, towels and trinkets abound. A great place for tourists, locals and gift buying. The staff are not hovering but are friendly and helpful if you have any questions. I highly recommend y'all checking out the art here! read more

Not only does this place sell local treasures, they also have a variety of classes scheduled during the month for you to learn a new skill. My sister gifted me a ring class for my birthday and I finally redeemed it. We learned how to turn a piece of sterling silver wire into a customized ring. Best part was I got to play with a mini blow torch, bring a new piece of jewelry home, all while enjoying free wine! It was so much fun. Claudia taught the class today and she is amazing. Her handmade jewelry is a work of art and she's a great teacher. I'll definitely take another class there. read more

Packed with every and any medium, up-cycling, crafting, jewelry and more! Glass, pottery, wood, paintings, natural material art, recycled art... Endless! They even had a few artists in house to talk to you! Look high and low- because there are treasuries everywhere. I highly recommend looping more than once & going back often! Artisans are adding and changing out pieces weekly! I will be back & already have ideas of future purchases! The vendors provide art, decor and fashion pieces that beautifully represent the personality of Atlantic Beach and Jacksonville. Fun place to browse! Lots of work by local artists such as a artwork, home decor, and jewelry. It was nice to be able to see a bunch of different artists' work displayed all in one place. Also less pressure or awkwardness than other places where the artists are near their individual booths. Here you can just browse everything and then check out near the exit. read more
