Hit or miss! Some days I'll go in great service, nice portion of food…read more Next time I'll get 2 small pieces of turkey with my dinner. And, never go in 30 minutes or less before closing or be prepared for dagger eyes & to be treated like you did something horribly wrong. The 2 times I walked in 5:30pm(when they close at 6) you'd think I walked in 5:59! The women workers made it known they were ready to leave & I was annoying them by ordering a dinner.

I have wanted to come to Hinck's Turkey Farm for a while now. You will find this farm in Manasquan…read morethat manages to evolve with time. Brand: 5/5 Started in 1938, Hinck's Turkey Farm is located in Manasquan, with the turkey mascot as the most significant symbol of the establishment. You will find it on the website, on the establishment, and even on the tables. This works for the establishment, especially for a farm-and-diner. Website: 5/5 The theme, Elevate Perception, works for this website. The wood background gives the website a down-to-earth feel as you navigate it. You could find the images of the menu items in a gallery in the Products page, which I find a good presentation of what to expect. The website also brings you to the lengthy backstory of Hinck's Turkey Farm. Wait Time: 5/5 The staff prepared my order quickly without any issues. Ambiance: 4/5 The food behind the glass counters look well-prepared, though I hoped to find more inventory in the freezers, from the turkey patties to the turkey sausages. Classic rock plays throughout the establishment, getting you motivated throughout the day. The seats felt comfortable and the large tables had enough space between them, from the lone tables to the booth tables. When it comes to the menu selection, they revolve around turkey as the central ingredient, all of which look enticing, which helps keep the food within the eatery's brand. I also liked the personal touch of the cartoon magnets lined throughout the establishment. Food: 5/5 I ordered the Thanksgiving Day Sandwich, which consists of turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce within hard roll buns, with a Hinck's Turkey Farm band of Black Cherry soda. The hearty turkey stuffing and the sweet cranberry sauce complement each other in this sandwich, making the turkey stuffing moist enough to eat. The gravy especially brings out the flavor. The buns managed to hold their forms, despite the moistness of the ingredients. Every part of the turkey stuffing had a well-cooked texture. The Thanksgiving Day Sandwich absolutely fits as the signature dish of Hinck's Turkey Farm, and I love how eateries have their own brand of soda. This, along with others, makes the images of the menu items convincing. Considering how the containers already contained heated, prepared food, the wait time did not need to be long, and the service clearly care about their food. The Thanksgiving Day Sandwich left me in a decent mood throughout the day, and makes it one of the greatest highlights of this review, alongside the brand. Service: 5/5 The staff managed to get my order without any issues or delays. Considering the number of them, they knew how to manage a continuous influx of patrons. As such, I had a good impressions with the service and the establishment itself, for it gave me hope that farms could evolve to include their own diners to stay relevant. Nothing about the service gave me reason to leave, for they handle the food with care. The service maintains transparency by informing visitors of their website about their ethical handling of the turkeys. Considering the size of the farm, it establishes a system of numerous staff performing many various tasks. One of which included refilling the containers whenever they became empty. Cost: 5/5 I take into account every aspect of this review when looking at the whether the farm is worth going there. Considering my travel through a highway, that makes me truly weigh on whether the experience was worth it. The service ensured that I was accommodated, the Thanksgiving Day Sandwich had a vibrant flavor, and the brand makes this farm stand out. My only personal suggestion is to include more turkey meat lots with 5+ individual turkey meat products in the freezers and less single packages. I would definitely want to try the other turkey men items should I return. I would consider the price ultimately worth it. Rating: 5/5 Stars Everything about Hinck's Turkey Farm works for it (and more) despite its supposedly limitations as a farm with a restaurant. I would absolutely consider Hinck's Turkey Farm my first choice. Recommend To... Anyone looking for a farm with its own restaurant that sources its own poultry, and has a brand unique enough to stand out.

We turned around and noticed a small building with a young man sitting outside. We drove down the dirt road past a very small patch of lavender. ( maybe 40 or so plants) hardly a field! We parked next to all the cars and thought this was going to be good because there was quite a few cars. We quickly figured out that it was a private event . No signs ... nothing from stopping us from entering the private party. We walked over to the patch of lavender and decided to walk over to the farm store. The stand consisted of lavender plants selling for $ 30 for maybe a five gallon container .. inside there was soap and sachets which really had no scent what so ever. We walked out and asked the young man that was sitting outside if in fact it was a private party and he confirmed yes it was and that they weren't allowed to put up signs. ??? That Made no sense.. but what ever. He then said he was on the phone with his parents asking then what to do about us! Huh? We asked if we can go see the alpaca.. only one was by the fence . He said okay ... but they normally get $10!!! We declined and left . $10 to pet alpaca and look at a patch of lavender!!!! What a joke . The drive down the short dirt road would have been longer. Seriously a Waste of time if you think it's a place to spend some time. Do a google image and take a look for yourself... I wish we did.
