I literally come here at least once a week to visit with the goats, donkeys ( love these two), sheep, alpacas ( I do have a favorite, unoficially named her Dolly), piggies ( my husband is in love with the piglets), cows, emus, peacocks. ducks, chickens. So the experience and adventure of this beautiful farm is worth the nominal admission fee. The staff is extremely helpful and answers any questions you may have. I also wanted to mention the adorable decor inside and outside the store. Homemade wreaths, antique (Flexible Flyer) sled, any many more beautiful thoughtful gifts. Took the grandkids here the other day, they were excited to see and feed the animals. Unfortunately my husband got bit by the emu and was painful. Went to the office to tell them and they couldn't care less. They should have posted a sign by the animal stating what kind of animal it was, by the way it said duck on the sign. Poor service, really disappointed that the tractor ride was also not available for the kids to ride in. Place needs an overhaul. read more

if I could give zero stars I would. It cost myself, my husband, my 20month old and 6 month old $50 for admission into the farm! A farm which has literally zero animals!! It is a farm with pretty much goats and ducks and then pigs at the end. No horses, no cows. The place is dirty and completely worn down. You would think for how much they charge the facility would look a little better. This is not community farm anymore. It is a complete money grab. Do not waste your time or money! Would recommend Allaire Community Farm over Atlantic Farms everyday. read more

Atlantic Farms is excellent! Located right off Atlantic Ave, it's really easy to get to. I'm so happy that we discovered this place on accident one day while driving around the area. I'll admit that even as an adult, I love feeding the farm animals. They're so cute! And Atlantic Farms has plenty of them - sheep, goats, cows, donkeys and even llamas. It's only $3 to get into the area where the animals are. You can purchase a bag of carrots to feed the animals for an additional $3. During the fall season, there is pumpkin picking, hayrides and a corn maze. It does get quite crowded on the weekends so come early. I definitely recommend coming here if you are from the area. Please, however, be courteous and throw out your trash. I witnessed several people throwing garbage on the ground, which is dangerous for the farm animals and is disrespectful to the family who owns the farm. read more

We stopped here to check this place out on the way home. It's a nice little farm stand with some animals. They do sell some items inside. But upon walking in and the entire time we were inside, not one employee said anything to us... wow. There's no telling if it's fresh from their farm or not though. But I did ask about the jams and jellies that they sold with their labels on them. The little tween girl behind the counter told us that they do not make it, that they are shipped to them, and they just slap their label on them. False advertising and duping people out of fresh made items I see. We paid to SEE the animals. That's right, $3 per person to walk around the side of the building with no gate, to just see the animals. (We paid another $3 to feed the animal carrots which was fine.) Is your farm hurting so much that looking at animals costs money?! Get the fuck out of here. We won't be back, ever. read more

Had not been to farm in a few years and was very sad to see what it looks like now. There was broken/ abandoned farm equipment everywhere..sharp edges, rust. The areas where animals are kept is very small and overgrown with weeds. One poor cow in back pasture had several cuts on hind legs and was covered in flies, another cow was emaciated. There was garbage everywhere..napkins, bottles, just gross trash. The pumpkin patch had nice pumpkins but was also filled with litter. Porta potty was filthy. I left much earlier than anticipated and felt genuinely sad at the deplorable conditions. read more

I went before the big fall rush with my daughter. Admission was only $2 each. We bought a bag of carrots to feed the animals as well. You can't bring your own food for the animals, you can only purchase carrots or corn. The woman at the counter was very nice and explained to us which animals we could feed and which ones might bite. Apparently the sheep with the horns will try to steal your whole bag of carrots so be careful. They have goats, chickens, cows, pigs, ponies, donkeys, and a couple of other animals as well. It's a nice time killer for about half an hour with your little one. It's not very big but it was fun. They have hand sanitizer on the counter or you can buy wipes for $0.25 each. I will go again when they have the pumpkin patch set up later in the fall. read more

I like this farm a lot. We come every year. Its pretty cheap considering what some other places charge. We paid $9 for two adults for the petting zoo and a bag of carrots. You can enter and reenter as many times as you would like. They have sheep, goats, lamas, donkeys, emu, cows, pigs, and chickens. Its a cute little farm to visit. The corn maze is $3 per person and is actually a lot of fun! They have a hayride but we didn't go on that. We did visit the pumpkin patch but we always choose to buy our pumpkins at walmart because no one can beat their prices. Overall we always enjoy our day here! read more

First off if your going for the animals its cute and I like that part. The pumpkin patch however is gross. The whole pumpkin patch was full of litter. I saw mini liquor bottles, broken glass something that resembled a condom plus various other trash strewn throughout the pumpkin patch. They make enough money where the can hire someone to rake the patch before kids walk through it. read more

love this place, the animals are so friendly and they all seem to be taken well care of. I love coming out here whenever I have the chance and it is dirt cheap. You pay for admission (which is so cheap) and then the feed which is also cheap. the money is going to the animals being taken care of and I love coming here. The only thing I like is the animals. The people aren't overly pleasant and a little odd (at least the 2 people I came in contact with) There are a few animals that look severely uncomfortable and stressed due to a fly infestation. There is a beautiful black and white cow that is tormented by flies and seems very bothered and uncomfortable- I believe there are solutions to resolve flies eating at the animals - google it. I love going to see and feed the animals but it's heartbreaking to see the bugs just eating at some of these animals. read more

I would give this establishment more stars because it was cute for the kids and was an enjoyable 45 minutes. But a few things were a little off. The woman at the cash register wasn't very pleasant. There is only a portapotty which is a trek down the farm. (After kids feedings animals a sink to wash hands would be welcomed.) Also, they open at 9 and we got there at 930 and the animals were being fed, so a lot of them weren't interested in our carrots to feed them. (Maybe feed them earlier before opening? I could be wrong though maybe that is just the animals scheduled feeding time.) I would go back if small improvements were made because my children enjoyed it but would go some where else next time. read more

Admission is cheap. They have a great variety of animals that are very interactive. The staff is surly and not very welcoming. We were disappointed in the quality of the pumpkin patch and the corn maze was closed. My 2 year old had a great time and that made it well worth the trip. Watch out for the sheep. First time there, went with my wife and 2 yr old daughter. My little one couldn't have had a better time. She had a blast feeding the animals and picking her own pumpkin (which I of course carried ;) ) For 2 adults and a toddler, and a bag of feed, $11. Add on the pumpkin for $7.50, and we had a nice afternoon outing for less than $20. The people working the shop inside were quiet but nice. They hayride and corn maze were closed due to rain earlier in the day, so we'll have to go back and check them out next time. The animals were your best friend as long as you have food for them. Pigs, goats, llamas, turkeys, sheep donkeys, ponies, chickens, ducks, cows, and I'm sure I'm missing something else. Great farm, nice day out with the family. read more

We had such a horrible experience there today with our family. I have two sons, ages 18 and 12. My 12 year old is disabled and in a manual wheelchair due to a severe form of cerebral palsy. He is also nonverbal. He loves rides though and my husband and I wanted to bring him out for his annual hayride so we brought him to Atlantic Farms. Apparently they refuse to cater AT ALL to the disabled. They were so rude to us simply even walking around the farm, never mind the difficulty they gave is by making us park the wheelchair very far away behind a metal gate, not allowing us to even push my son up to the hayride so we could lift him onto it before wheeling the chair away, but then they would not let us push the wheelchair back through the gate, but had to completely backtrack through a line of people to get it out. My son is my size and weighs 90 pounds, and my husband had to hold him up until I was able to bring the chair to him. What a disgrace. I live locally and have gone there on multiple occasions for different reasons, but never again! read more

My 3.5 year old and 1 year old love it here! We usually go during the week so it's not very busy. My only complaint is the unfriendly women behind the counter. I wouldn't say they ruin the experience, nor would I allow them to ruin ours. I am just surprised this is who owners/management want dealing with their customers. read more

Vegetables are not good and expensive. They sell preserves that are not even home-made and contain high-fructose corn syrup. They make pay adults and childrens to have a look at the animals even you buy products. read more

Great local place for a mini trip to the zoo. Took my 2 year old who had a BLAST petting and feeding the many goats, sheep, cows, horses, llamas, chickens, geese, donkeys, etc. Definitely buy the $3 worth of food, it was good amount and my kid LOVED it... had a great time. I went to the farm today and was horrified of the condition of the animals. A cow that is in really bad shape as well as many others. No water, no shade for many of them. They need medical attention. I have reported them to the ASPCA. read more
