I called to complain and was told that I can't prove where the smoke was from because they share a hallway with another business that was actually closed at 530am when I was there. Essentially I was blown off on the phone with a laundry list of excuses then I was charged for another month 2 days after I quit the gym. It's a dirty gym and poorly maintained equipment. And obviously they don't actually care for their customers.

The locker rooms are clean and well lit and there are 3 showers available. I've never seen anyone waiting for a shower, so even though this isn't as many as some locations, it seems to be enough here. It tends to get busy from 4-6pm here, so like any planet fitness location, I recommend checking the app to see what the crowd level is before going. Since this isn't the biggest location, there can occasionally be a wait for a machine, though I wouldn't say it happens often.

I've seen them yell at people, tell someone they weren't cleaning machines properly, and when i walked in carrying a gym bag and had on shorts and flip flops asked if i had workout shoes. The staff, particularly my trainer, Mike Pisani, has been very understanding of where I am in the process and has adjusted my program accordingly. He answers questions thoroughly and is never condensending in his room explanations and answers. Mission "found out" after looking at my social media, and told me via voicemail, I cannot attend here anymore due to also being a certified strength coach on the side. I am far from a yoga teacher, hot yoga helped me in my own training career, I would never turn away a Yoga Teacher if they came to me for strength training. What keeps me going are the variety of classes offered each week and the awesome instructors. The classes are grouped: Strength, Cycle, Barre and Yoga with different classes offered in each group (e.g. Strength - ROW, Barre - Tone, Yoga - Sculpt, etc.). In addition to the "regular" classes there are fun themed classes, and classes that support local charitable organizations, too! The class schedule is different each week, but every day there are classes offered early in the morning (5:45/6am), mid morning (7-9am), lunchtime, and afternoon/evening (4-5:45pm). There are even classes on the weekends. No matter your schedule, you can find a time to make it to MISSION. I love that they have an app which makes it easy to schedule and plan out classes each week. Personally, I've done home based workouts, Planet Fitness, 1:1 training, classes at other gyms, and nothing compares to how I feel after working out at MISSION. If you want a class-based gym with highly engaging and enthusiastic instructors who will push you to achieve your highest fitness potential, literally the cleanest facilities I've ever seen at a gym, an in-house cafe for a post-workout smoothie (Nourish), classes that are so fun they sometimes make you forget you're working out, and a truly wonderful community, come to MISSION. This is a gym focused on making you both physically and mentally STRONG. Even if you are just starting out on your workout journey, the top notch instructors at MISSION always offer modifications that will make you feel confident completing the class. The classes are very boring and repetitive (I've practiced Pilates for years, and rarely do the same thing twice with other instructors), and although there is constant correction and criticism, there is very little instruction. I came across CJ Physical Therapy & Pilates purely by chance, and I can say with certainty that it…read morehas completely restored my quality of life in less than 3 months time. After suffering from severe back pain for almost 3 years, I followed the general route of seeking care through an orthopedic office (Access Sports Medicine). This resulted in wasting thousands of dollars and valuable time (4+ months), with no results or improvement. After months of expensive and ineffective PT, I was told steroid injections or surgery would be the next best option with little to no confidence from my physician that the recommended course of treatment would result in improvements. I am SO grateful that I found CJ PT before I went through with the steroid injections as it could have resulted in a vicious cycle of injections, never actually solving the root of the problem. I learned more from CJ PT than I ever did from my physician; mechanical pain is different from chemical pain and should not be treated the same, herniations can heal with corrective movements, and steroid injections can mask the pain leading to further injury. The team at CJ PT was incredibly informative, educated me on ways to protect my back and help it heal and slowly introduced strength exercises to help get me back to baseline. Dr. Jill is phenomenal. She gave me the tools I needed to begin healing my body and got me back to playing with my kids and reintroducing activity back into my life. It has truly been one of the best experiences and I could not recommend CJ PT & Pilates enough.
