After the seminar attendants can book a one hour followup to discuss their specific situation. I attended the follow-up with my husband. Met with Robert tax specialist and Luis financial specialist, and it was great. They asked for income/tax/retirement materials in advance, had each reviewed and discussed them before we met. They had recommendations and insights, were able to address all our specific questions and concerns and had specific recommendations about them. They didn't try to sell us anything and were the first financial guys who didn't push their opinions on us. Because of this I wanted to give back by providing this honest review. I highly recommend the seminar because it is a great baseline of knowledge. I more highly recommend going to Robert to get a complete review of your personal situation, their evaluation and recommendations. Their knowledge is complete, which is true of so many companies. In my experience with this Cranston Financial Advisory company the principal advisor mislead me on the advisory fees and never gave a direct and clear answer when I questioned her on it. This is not sour grapes because of a poor performance in the market - that happens even with the best of them, but this company just placed my investments into a cookie cutter model and never actively managed or changed the investments to more suitable and appropriate holdings for my situation. The advisory fee charged was not the advisory fee we agreed up at the onset. I would not recommend using this company based on my poor experience even though I tried in vain to ask targeted and direct questions for the fees charged- the advisor was not truthful or forthright and charged me well over and above the fee we agreed upon. I put my trust and faith in this company and relied on what was told to me in our meetings and phone calls and was insulted and astonished that I was repeatedly lied to. Once the fees were taken from my accounts they were gone for good as the advisory would not discuss the issue with me and lost me as a client forever.
