Went Parasailing for the first time today with Atlantic Parasail and it was fantastic! The crew were great, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They even pointed out some fish and dolphins and we even saw a shark! The ride was easy, it was a gentle launch and recovery and a thrilling ride! I usually don't like heights but I felt secure and the ride was so smooth that I enjoyed the trip right from the start! This was our last day of vacation and the right activity to finish up with! Highly recommended.

OK folks -- this is nothing like parachuting from 10,000 feet -- and since you get geared up to the giggy -- no worries. The parachute ride at Coney Island back in the day triggered more of an adrenaline rush. Still, parasailing amounts to a pleasant 90 minute boat ride with about 10 other folks, where you take turns being gently dragged a couple hundred feet in the air behind a small boat. Depending on weight, you can fly tandem or even in threes. Nice views, peaceful, pleasant -- almost sedate. Get the photo or go-Pro package -- if you are looking for quality keepsake shots. Our crew (Ryan and Brandon) were exceedingly polite, cheerful and professional. Highly recommend them and the trip -- especially if you are toting bored teenagers along -- who want more adventure than whale watching tours.

I booked a parasailing tour online before arriving in Wildwood Crest for myself and my 8 year old son. Booking online was easy and the site thoroughly explained all details of our trip including what to expect and all safety measures the crew takes to ensure a great time. Confirmation emails and a follow up reminder 2 days before our trip. While booking I wanted to utilize the GoPro for our sail in the sky however it was no longer available due to cv-19 concerns. Matt worked with me and was able to accommodate my requests. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! We arrived 30 minutes before departure. Masks were required inside where you check in and I appreciated that. We walked down the dock and waited for our boat to pull in. As the boat docked and the previous group exited the dock, Thomas and Turtle could be seen wiping and disinfecting the boat. "Common down gang! Throw your shoes in the basket and hop on board!" My son and I were first on the boat. We were pumped! 11 passengers in total. I believe 12 is the max they allow on the boat. Plenty of room, nobody was squished together. As we departed from the dock to head out to sea Turtle explained exactly what to expect and went over in detail all precautions and safety measures they take to ensure a fun, safe flight as well as how to take off and land back onboard. The boat had 3 children on it including my son, music played was age appropriate for all. When it was our turn to go up, thorough instructions were given on the GoPro I requested as we were being harnessed up. Turtle helped my son get to the back of the boat in position safely. Not once did I question safety, they were on point! I loved the interactions it made my son and I feel very comfortable. Any time my son had a question or request the Thomas and Turtle were all ears and really made us feel welcomed, felt like a trip with good friends. Strapped in ready to go Thomas handed me the GoPro and 3....2.....1! Lift off!! Incredible views and a memory I now share with my son forever. We saw dolphins and sting rays, the Thunder Cat (another tour boat available on their website *dolphin tours) drove right under us at one point giving us awesome views of the dolphins chasing their wake. Before being pulled back on we were dipped in the ocean (you can opt out of this however I highly recommend it) not too much just to the knees and it was so awesome! They watched to make sure my son was having a good time and even with the other child that went up before us I heard Thomas and Turtle constantly watching body language to make sure kids were comfortable and having a good time before really lifting us higher. Safe gentle landing back on the boat. We lost our seat at the front because once you get back on Turtle helps get you out of the gear (everyone kinda rotates as we take turns) and my son really wanted to go back up front lol I asked Turtle and Thomas if we could move and they slowed down and we were assisted back up to the front. This is a must do if you are heading to the shore. I'd give this 10 stars if I could. My crew was excellent and when we go back, I'm requesting another tour with the rest of my family with those guys! *TIP bring some cash with you to slide to your crew!! Thank you Thomas and Turtle for providing excellent service and helping me give my son a memory he will cherish forever.

JUST DO IT! My wife and two kids (10 & 13) did it and they had a blast. I was an observer but once I saw how safe and secure it was, I will do it next time. While up there, they saw dolphins and even a phone floating in the water! Crew was awesome and made you feel safe.

First time parasailing and the crew had us feel at ease. The captain was super friendly and his first mate, "Turtle" was super helpful. They would point out dolphins and had us feeling comfortable going up and coming back down. I would definitely recommend and plan on going back again!

Went to Atlantic Parasail to celebrate a birthday and the experience couldn't have been any better! Chris was our captain and he was fun, energetic, and very helpful throughout our entire trip. From check-in to the moment my friend and I were lifted in the air to parasail, the entire process was seamless and stress free. Will definitely be returning!

How high do you go up?

300 feet - it sounds like more than it looks and we felt safe the whole time! There is an option to signal the crew if you want to be pulled down early, so you're in control.

They played great music, kept us laughing the whole time, and just had a calm demeanor which kept me from flipping out The boat ride was super smooth, and once we got up in the air, the views were absolutely breathtaking. We even got a fun little dip in the water! I felt completely safe with both of them, and knew we were in great hands! If you're thinking about parasailing, I can't recommend this crew enough. Bobby and Wilson were amazing, and the entire experience was a 10/10!

Honestly, the best part of the experience was when I was in the air and away from the staff. There were two male staff members, and one of them appeared to be under the influence (the one with his shirt on). From the beginning, I felt singled out. He told me to put my phone away, while other guests in the same group were allowed to use theirs without being addressed. He even mentioned that the company had been sued before, which made the situation feel even more uncomfortable. I understand that there are safety rules, but I believe they should be communicated and enforced consistently with everyone. It was my birthday, and I had other plans afterward that required me to respond to messages. Because I was repeatedly told I could not use my phone, I missed important communication and ultimately had to cancel those plans. That was incredibly frustrating. I also felt that I was treated differently throughout the experience. One group brought a dog on the boat, and the staff went out of their way to make the dog comfortable, while I felt uncomfortable and constantly singled out. We arrived at the recommended time, yet we were left standing in the heat without shade for approximately 30 minutes before it was actually time to leave. I eventually sat in the shade, only to be told to move again because of where I was sitting. Even after the activity started, I was repeatedly told to move my seat back and forth while other guests were not being treated the same way. I followed the rules and made a genuine effort to remain calm and not let the situation ruin my birthday, but the experience felt unfair and unnecessary. I have participated in excursions in Jamaica and the Bahamas, and the customer service and hospitality I experienced there were much better. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling singled out and disrespected. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and reviews how staff interact with guests, because everyone deserves to feel welcomed, respected, and treated equally--especially when celebrating a special occasion.

There is also a $25 photo package where the crew member will take photos on a digital camera and give you a disc afterward. My 7-year-old son and I (yep, everyone except infants and pregnant women can ride) did this for the first time yesterday. There is no discount for children, though. Started off signing some waivers, and then with a short boat ride to the parasailing "section." This trip was in the bay as the ocean was "like a washing machine" according to the staff. I was on the boat with a family of 8, and they let us go first as we were rookies at this. When we got to the start, the crew decided to change the chute to the larger one, so we had a short delay of a few minutes. They set up the bigger chute, and got my son and I on the rear deck of the new 2011 boat. We during the first part of the ride were given life vests and a seating harness. With the chute fully opened and in the air, we were hooked into the caribeaners and seating. In a few seconds, we were airborn! Flying! We were anywhere from 350 to 500 feet in the air, and it was a lot of fun to see the 360' views for miles. We even were "close" enough to wave to other boats and be waved back to. You could carry on a conversation, and the breeze was nice and not loud. The boat made some zigzags and slowed down to get up and down in the chute, and you spend about 10-15 minutes in the air. Then, they pull you back and at the very end if you wish, they can dip you into the water. It can be just your feet, or up to your neck! I was surprised at how warm the bay water was. Since we went first, my son and I got to sit on the boat drying off while everyone else went - sometimes in triple, or doubles. The crew and staff were very professional, and likable. There were no problems at all with our tour. They boast a 100% safety record. The entire trip lasts about 1 to 1 1/2 hours depending on how many are in the boat going. I highly recommend going parasailing while you're on vacation in LBI! I'll be back!
