When we said three people would like to ride on the boat but not parasail we where told it would be a $50.00 charge per person.. Fabulous time with Dewey Beach Parasail! Very kind, fun and professional crew. Three of us went up together (74, 44, and 10yro) and they helped us all feel safe and reminded us to take in the beautiful view. Spent 10 mins up at 400 feet (cord goes out 800 feet). Played music, took pics of us. Another party on the boat had an older autistic child, and it was notable how caring and calm the crew was with her to make her feel comfortable. I had parasailing on my bucket list. I was visiting the Chesapeake Bay area of Maryland and decided to include a visit to Delaware since I hadn't been there yet. The Fly Dewey Beach crew made it easy. I'm 72 with some balance issues but the crew, Hunter and Maddie, were efficient, safety oriented, fun and supportive. There were six groups on the boat including mine so we all cheered each other on and enjoyed the boat ride. The flight up was so easy and gentle. The parachute lifts you, in your harness, off the boat so easily as you float high above tethered in calm and freedom. It was awesome! Then your slowly reeled and landed gently back where you started. We asked to dip our toes on the way down. We bought the photo package. It was worth the extra cost. read more

Our whole family went, ages 46, 39, 13 and 9, for the first time today. Absolutely wonderful owners and team! This is not some kids doing a summer gig, it's a top notch family operation focused on safety and attention to detail. They make the experience so much fun but most importantly make young kids and nervous adults feel completely comfortable. The ride is breathtaking in all the good ways, nothing scary or jerky just a smooth and easy transition and flight. Agree with other reviews that the photo and GoPro package was absolutely worth it; no grainy iPhone photos and they give you a GoPro on a selfie stick for the flight. 6-8 minutes in air bay side, don't waste your money. Go to Ocean City MD and spend @ 20 minutes up over the ocean for the same price.

If this is your first rodeo, ask for Nick and Hunter. They are sweetest, most gentle and kind, and FUN people. Think Kindergarten teacher, who you would want to explain all the safety features and take good care of you. They are the BEST! Even the short wait on the boat before the parasailing was fun! My brother and his wife had such a ball, that they convinced my husband, mother and I to take the trip too. So so glad we went. We'll be back for years to come. Easy to book and easy to find. There is parking (so important!) Impressed how close to the appointment time we started out. We're repeat customers because they deliver what they promise. A really great experience! We opted for a photo package and 800 feet. All three of us to went up in tandem. We were asked how much of a dunk we wanted. With a 12 year old in the group, we went full body. We felt safe the entire time. The crew is patient and explains the harnesses. If you look, it's easy to find discounts for the experience. Ours came in the package from our renting company. We've done this in the past with a very adventurous 6 year old and a 70 year old who had always been talked out of it by his family. I've done it by myself and in tandem. All is amazing. The quiet is so noticeable. It can be difficult to find an appointment time if you wait -- best to book several days ahead or even before you arrive in town. read more

We had a great experience parasailing. Justin and Dillon made the boat ride and parasailing experience for our family of four and 3 other families, seamless. We rode in tandem with our children and even our youngest (10) who was a bit nervous loved the smooth "lift off"and "landing." The picture package was great and before you leave they allow you to upload it on to your smartphone so you have instant access to your pictures. Definitely make reservations as we saw a family come to parasail that had to leave because there was no space available at that time. read more

Pretty fun time. Worth going in the morning to save a few bucks. Captain and crew were friendly and professional. Photo package was ok. The crewman taking the shots won't win any awards, but they were serviceable. An observer might get in a few decent photos, but the crewman has a better vantage point. I do suggest taking a camera up with you. Disposable waterproofs can be bought cheapest at the WalMart in town. You might get away with carrying your digital, but make sure they know not to 'dip' you. Also, go ahead and spring for the higher trip. You really don't go that high. The number (600 or 800 feet) is the length of the line from the boat, not your height above it. Plenty of people on our boat were afraid of heights (I don't particularly care for them) but none of us really had a sensation of height once up. If you're on the fence, go for it. read more

The experience was a lot of fun. The crew was very knowledgeable and professional. The switch between flyers was seamless. My only issue is the life jackets and harness STUNK! All 5 of us had to go to the house and shower afterwards because we all smelled that bad from their equipment. My daughter broke out in hives afterwards as well. Called at 8am and booked a reservation for 9am for my 2 boys. Used a coupon , ended up being 65 dollars for an 800 ft. My husband paid 20 bucks to sit in the boat and take some pictures. I sat on shore and waited. Boys went out , went up, and had fun. I enjoyed watching people paddleboard, and adult volleyball league playing. Professional, nice staff, and worth the cost. read more

On a recent weekend trip to Dewey, my boyfriend and I were unfortunate enough to have chosen a weekend that ended up being overcast the entire two days. Not wanting to be cooped up in our hotel room all weekend (we were staying at the not-so-glamorous Sea Esta), we decided to walk around town. When we got to Ruddertown, we saw people out on the water parasailing. We decided to check it out, and after talking to the girl in the booth on the volleyball court, we decided to sign up. We went for the 800 foot ride (the highest option), and even got dipped in the water. I was afraid of heights, but this was downright fun, and not scary at all. I would definitely recommend this experience, and we are even going to go again this year when we go down in August. To add insult to injury, instead of going up in a pair and single ride as reserved, all three in our party had to go up together because the captain was running so far behind.
