We were drawn to the nicely lite large windows off the road. My friend is a designer and we were both intrigued. So we decided to make a quick stop to check it out. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away. The space, the furniture, the greenery. The design consultant who greeted us and was such a pleasure to interact with, Johnny, gave us a tour of the space while he filled us in on the details of the store. The story is originally from Naples, and they recently expanded to open their first showroom on the east coast. So happy they ventured close to us! To my surprise I was informed that they focused on high-end outdoor furniture. In my life have I ever seen such beautiful patio furniture. He explained that they carried some of the best brands from Brown Jordan to Tuucci umbrellas to Vondom, and a few interior design companies that are now doing outdoor like Palechek and Bernhardt. Also, I happy to learn of a company called Pollywood that specialize in patio furniture made of 100% recycled milk jugs. Imagine yourself at home on your deck, backyard, poolside, or high rise balcony with beautiful outdoor furniture! What an awesome way to create a gorgeous outdoor space! What beautiful memories you can create with your friends and families with an awesome outdoor sanctuary! Searching for laminate…read morefor my foyer, Paul assisted me and was pretty knowledgeable and explained the differences and what would be best depending on what I was searching for and what area I was installing it in. He stated some are better than the others for durability like Nucore & Durolux and still need to see the different ones that are offered . The one I was choosing was less expensive and happened to match better but when I tried the sample at home it did scratch easily with a flathead(I did as an experiment) as he had previously mentioned. He said not to drag furniture or anything that may scratch it. He said I needed a blue bottom cover for the floor underneath but u are if I actually need it . I decided to head back the next day and exchange the one I had with the one that was more durable to last longer since it would not be warrantied if any scratches were to occur. I also purchased a tool to install it if needed . I wanted to purchase and match a marble piece that I already have in the area going into the other rooms. He took me to the area and we picked a piece out. Additionally, I had the transition piece to match. He loaded the car for me. When I returned the next day it was busier. Another guy assisted me but was told to go to another customer and someone else helped me. He took the ones I purchased out of the car but there was a bit of a delay at the registers when I returned because customers were also returning and purchasing. I will more than likely have someone install it even though I do like to learn DIY .

This was nice. We had a couple of questions about different types of tile. High polish vs Matte. He answered our questions but then at the end said he wasn't 100% sure so we asked another person who gave us a completely different answer. Needless to say we left confused and have to do more research.

There was a gal vacuuming at the time we came by. The vacuum was heating up and smoking a bit, so she was concerned. There were also some students or volunteers or young new employees -- I couldn't tell which -- being given a tour of the store as we were there. Both were a bit distracting. They have some inventory that will appeal depending on what you're looking for... they don't have much furniture wise. There's a bit of a bunch of different things --linens, housewares, silverware, electronics, books, clothing etc., etc. Most things are organized together by category. Price wise, it's a mix of decent prices and high prices. They have some of the more expensive items near the counter. We didn't love something enough to buy anything here. But we are still glad we came to check them out.

They also had furniture, appliances, bikes, guitars, household goods, collectibles, books, movie, CD's, clothing, accessories, and more. With the influence of DIY shows showcasing recycling and re-purposing, thrifting is more popular than ever. Thrift stores help people save money and keep items out of the landfill. When I pulled up their front porch was filled with the most delightful array of gifts. I started out Christmas shopping but there were so many things I wanted for myself too. I ended up purchasing several items at a steep discount including a Vera Bradley straw hat for only $5, gorgeous artisan necklaces for family Christmas presents, some Christmas decorations, a gift for a friends upcoming wedding, and finally a few Cat's Meow Village buildings including area landmark buildings, the New River Inn and the Bonnet House, for my collection. I started accidentally collecting them when I purchased a few inexpensively in a vintage sale and now I'm hooked. I especially love the replicas of the buildings I have fallen in love with in Florida (in case you are reading this daughter hint, hint). Inside the store I was dazzled with the array of gifts. The front of the store was beautifully decorated for the holidays and there were several Christmas trees throughout the store. This store carries a huge selection of Vera Bradley, home decor, coastal decor, holiday decorations, jewelry, candles, bath products, pantry items, jams and jellies, and apparel. I loved the lighted holiday snow globes especially the pop up camper one but my all time favorite items were the Spartina Florida purses and wallets. They have a vintage Florida map on them that look like the one on the table clothes that people who visited Florida used to buy in the 50's as souvenirs. I am still hunting one of those table clothes and I adore these handbags. I had never seen these before I am in love. They are pricey so this is going on my someday wish list. If there is one downside to this store it's that there was only one register and the sale generated a lot of customers who were buying many items and the ladies were slow. They are so sweet though and the wait wouldn't have been a big deal if I didn't have to rush off to other appointments. While I waited I snacked on their complimentary doughnut holes and orange juice. I have definitely found my new favorite gift store. I have some difficult people to buy for and I can find something for anyone here, not to mention all the things I personally loved. When you enter the store hit the ring button so they can buzz you in so the dogs don't accidentally slip out. They have so many items I have never seen before. I could get something for anyone here including a lot for myself. I have my eye on some things I will be coming back for.
