I decided to complete my modern mid century look with only whites and creams to give it a minimalist vibe to it! This store is more than what any professional decorator needs. If I didn't know, I wouldn't realize that this wasn't the same store as the Home Goods located in the Coral Ridge Mall. They are that identical in setup and inventory. One of the things I really like about Home Goods are the unique infused cooking oils, sauces, herbs and spices that they carry which you most likely will not find in a super market. Then again, also at a price better than you'd find in any super market. When I was here I was delighted to find a bottle of rosemary infused olive oil which was perfect on the lamb roast I was doing. Most of the home decorator items and other home furnishings are low end, next to zero quality and so cheap that the only bargain is in their cheapness; which is really no bargain at all. However, there are other items that give me reason to really adore this place such as low priced top of the line olive oils, various infused oils, particularly truffle oils, pasta toppings, coffees, jellies, jams, marmalades, wild caught canned fish, pestos and every now and then some really terrific, brand name exotic food finds at prices less than half of what they are in the gourmet or specialty food shops. I've also found some really great deals on various indestructible (seeming indestructible for everyone else but not by me) Teflon cooking items. read more

I never knew this store was here. I'd gone to Ulta next door after looking up that address and as many times as I've been to the Whole Foods on the other side, I've never noticed it. Just clueless, I guess! Anyhow, I've been searching for some garden flamingos to replace some old rusted out ones, and thought just maybe. This store is packed with stuff. So much so that you can easily be overwhelmed. When I first entered, I saw a huge pile (and an overflowing grocery basket) with edible gift items on a clearance rack. Ok. I was hooked. I then walked through the entire store looking at all the clearance sections -- and there are many. The place is rather messy but they certainly have inventory -- kitchen accessories, pillows, linens, statues, vases, Knick knacks, furniture, garden pottery, etc etc., even including marked down Christmas stuff, still. If you like an adventure or a "hunt", then this store is for you. If you like order and neatness -- no. If you're in the neighborhood and want to kill some time, if you like reading house and garden magazine or finding the perfect gadget or bar accessory and the like, then head on over here. read more

A favorite place to shop and browse, especially the Gourmet food section! Lots of International goods that are imported for and by TJMAX populate shelves and towers with everything from Soup to nuts, literally. We were browsing for some "healthy snacks" like dates, figs and apricots. Some how Italian Lemon Cookies jumped into my arms as I was innocently browsing some varieties of Salt with various herbs and spices. Lots of upscale beverages; Elderflower carbonated soda, (if it was more than 2 glasses worth I would have got it), Root Beer with Bavarian Nutmeg, and assorted Ginger beers. Many varieties and types of natural honey, olive oil and the like. The place was so clean and carried and immaculate selection of everything Home. Staff is super friendly and checkout lines, despite long, move super fast. I want to preface this by saying I absolutely love home goods because you can find so many different things for your home or gifts for someone else. They are thanks for your office, thanks for your house, thanks for your bedroom, thanks for your bathroom you get the jest. The selection is huge whether you're moving into a new place or starting fresh. I love that they have themed items such as beach themes and pineapples so you can pretty much decorate to any decor What I dislike about the store tremendously and I have given it multiple shots they are never enough cashiers. One time I stood in line for over 20 minutes and the last time I walked in there were so many people online that I just walked out of the store. As I was next door at the Whole Foods, I had to make a stop. I will always run into a Home Goods, Marshalls or TJ. You never know what you might find. This appears to be an older store but it was packed with merchandise. I saw all of the expected products from kitchen to bath to all of the knick knacks in between. Temptation runs high as I walk the isles and it is hard to restrain myself but I am trying to transition to more of a minimalists. :-? Always buy at this store, I probably buy here as much as I buy from Amazon and that's a lot. Came for a chair to be able to work from home, the chair had some scratches on the legs I asked for $10 discount and the manager refused to reduce anything beyond $5. Mind you I will have to repaint the legs to cover the scratches. Lost $90 sale over $5.00. To be perfectly honest, it was more about the lady's attitude than the actual $5.00. Louis the manager needs customer service training, I hope Corporate reads this and act swiftly, as you just lost a customer from ALL location. We are in a pandemic, and if I choose to do a little shopping as a form of therapy, I should be able to do so, and not be subjected to BAD customer service. Upon walking in the store I saw a 3 piece white patio set outside on display, I went in the store got some items and was browsing to see if they had any more of the patio set on the inside, I did not see any, so I asked a customer service personal who went to check and told me that was the only one available. Upon inspection, I see that the set on display was damaged and seemed a bit worn down, so I asked if I choose to take it can it be discounted, being that I have to repair it. The store rep contacted Louis the manager. At first, he did not listen to his subordinate over the walky thing, he answered him with an attitude, so I asked to speak with him myself, and that's when Louis came out, we showed him that where a piece came right off, he said he'll "Try to fix it himself, and it will not be discounted" walking away while talking to me. I was very embarrassed because other people were there! So let me sum this up, the only item was a display, that was damaged, and I was willing to purchase along with other items I had, but because of how Louis handles the situation without respect and proper communication I refused to spend my hard money to contribute to his income! So I left everything. HomeGoods needs to do better with training their MANAGERS. read more

This HomeGoods is newly opened and has excellent inventory. I came on opening day and a few times after. I've been very pleased with their customer service. Their employees are upbeat and professional and you are always greeted pleasantly by a staff member. Thus far, the store has been kept very clean and organized. I'm thrilled there is finally a HomeGoods in the area so locals don't have to drive all the way to the Ft. Lauderdale location, this is much more convenient. This Pompano Beach home goods is a great store. They have a wonderful selection. I can usually find exactly what I am looking for. I have accessorized many homes from this store. It takes time to look and go thru all the items but there are treasures amongst all the merchandise. I have read reviews that it's messy but I think they do a great job at maintaining it considering the amount of traffic they have. Waiting patiently for it to re open! I don't know how anyone can give this HomeGoods less than a 4 star if that! It is 5 stars all around!! I am a HomeGoods addict and other than the one down south in Kendall area this is by far my favorite in Fort Lauderdale/Broward! I have been to them all! Don't let the smaller size fool you. They have the best finds at this store. As always prices are more than fair. Anyone that argues that is not a true bargain buyer. And for those saying it is messy, get off your high horse! It is after all a retail/outlet like store. This "mess" is a part of the retail experience. They have seasonal goodies, by far the best furniture finds including outdoor, consoles, couches and rugs! two aisles full of kitchenware, utensils and kitchen decor. 2-4 aisles full of wall art, lamps, picture frames, murals! You name it, they will most likely have it! I mean, they have a whole aisle for your furkids which not all stores have and they also have a TON of cashiers when it gets busy. They also have an aisle where there are clearance items from towels, kids toys to kitchenware. Anything and everything you need for your home is at this location. Convenient parking and plenty of carts to shop your heart away! Other than that one time, the service has been nothing but, excellent. Hey, it is retail - something will always happen! Lots to choose from but the store is an absolute mess. So cluttered. Way too much stuff shoved on all the shelves. Makes it very hard to shop. So many items get damaged with this method of shelving things. And if I managed the store I'd be sure to go through the check out line from time to time and pick up the merch left behind by customers who change their mind and the garbage (empty water bottles and food wrappers) left behind. And I despise being asked to open the high interest credit card EVERY SINGLE time I shop in one of their stores. The line is 30 people deep with two or three cashiers at best and they still grill you about the credit card. Do better. read more

Poor displays. I wanted an item that was sitting on top of a pile of merchandise and could not retrieve it. I finally found someone to help me and he couldn't reach it.. didn't know what to do so did nothing. I left without that very expensive item... not worth the fight. Hard to maneuver the isles; store overly cluttered. Also hoping they join other compassionate retailers by not stocking pillows , bedding stuffed with real down. Great selection and discount prices on furniture and home accessories. They have great deals on bathroom rugs they pretty much are like the name says home goods everything for your house, I will say that you need to check them every day because they literally are unloading trucks while you were shopping and sometimes if you find three pieces at once or you will find a match at another.. read more

They have terrible customer service and very misleading pay-hold policy. They are happy to take your money to hold an item but when you can't collect the item they do not automatically refund you. It's very dishonest and misleading because they require you to come into the store to get a refund even if they re-sell the item. They put it back on their sales floor, resell it, but don't refund you until you come in person. They also refuse to do it over the phone. If you don't come within a certain period of time they only give you store credit. Beware that they don't tell you this when you purchase the item, obviously. read more

Oh my goodness!! This Pompano Beach Florida Home Goods is amazing! It has become the only HG store that I frequent. The staff, whether stocking items, checking out or at a manager level have never been anything but helpful. They always go out of their way to help if needed, and could not give better customer service. Kudos to this HG!! Rose (manager) and Ode were my Godsends yesterday. i have been a Home Goods shopper for years. We visited the new Pompano location yesterday. The store has the goods. However, the aisles are very narrow, ofter blocked by merchandise. It is extremely difficult to navigate a cart. If we were not banging into people, we were banging into the columns throughout the store. What are those all about? Clearly, the store was not designed for convenient shopping. The shelves are so overloaded with stuff that it is hard to take anything off the shelves to examine it, let alone see what is on the shelves. The merchandise manager needs to take a course or two in displays. There were many employees talking to each other, getting in the way of the shoppers. They were not very customer savvy. Only one young man was really working. The lady who checked us out was very nice. I have had more pleasant shopping experience in other Home Goods stores. read more
