We recently totally renovated and updated our Kitchen and Bar with Allied Kitchen and Bath. From the very moment we walked into the showroom until the last detail was completed we had a fantastic experience. After visiting several other places, not one of them suggested the design and layout that our designer Rob Feinberg at Allied did. They completely transformed the flow of our entire house by adding a large central island as a gathering place, work space and storage area. They suggested wall ovens to save space as well as adding a bar to use for mixing drinks and serving adjacent to the island. It is so stylish and we have had so many compliments on the design, material and style we were guided to. They had many choices of cabinets at many different price points, styles and colors, and we were shown and directed to what would look best and provide the greatest value. The cabinets arrived quickly and they had their teams at our house immediately to prep and install all the components. The workers were timely, very organized, efficient and each were long term employees so we felt very comfortable through the entire process. They left the house spotless each day, and took great care in both the demolition of our old kitchen and bar, as well as assuring everything was perfect down to the last detail on the new one. I really had no idea of the extent of what would be needed and felt that using a company with 40 years of experience was especially important. We are so glad we did. We felt very confident every step of the way, and were thrilled with the constant communication from both Bob the Project Manager and Bill Feinberg, the owner and updates throughout the whole project from conception to completion. They take your money and disappear. One guy wouldn't put anything in writing. He didn't even have a business card. Another "company" gave me a low quote but didn't want to get building permits. He asked me to be vague about the project with my condo management. All red flags. A neighbor suggested Allied. They did great work for him and kept the mess to a minimum by protecting his carpet and hardwood floors. I met with Lewis, a designer at Allied and we discussed options for my bathroom. I had a strict budget and I found Lewis willing to work within it. He came up with great ideas. Allied does things the right way. Designer drawings are done. An architect creates blueprints that breeze through the city permitting process. In a few weeks the project began. Trevor did a wonderful job installing a Schluter Shower System, a product that guarantees no leaks for life! Mark and Angelo were fantastic at setting the fixtures and rough carpentry and keeping dust to a minimum. Adam was my project manager who was available by cell if I had ANY concerns. Chris and Liz were awesome at helping me select tiles and finishes. Everybody was helpful and professional!! I never enjoyed a construction project so much. I found Allied to be top notch. Professional. Helpful. They wanted to be a five star company for me.

This was nothing but a complete headache! And when I called to let him his response was "just chill".."breathe. Honestly, I'm not one to hurt someone's business, but when I order something I expect to get the same thing that I ordered! I won't tell you not to shop there because he has great things in his showroom and he really gave me some awesome decorating tips too, but triple check your order... The door is locked so I call the store just in case. The gentleman who answers states that he just left but inquires what I'm looking for. After I tell him, he states "we don't do bathroom's nor do they have toilets, they only do cabinets". The name of the company is Bathroom world. The advertising outside the store says Kitchens & Baths. They've been around for 40 years. I get it, the business model may have changed. Can't they change the name so they're not wasting other people's time?!

You can't really inspect the vanity if you live in an apartment because they will not remove the covering before it is brought up to the apartment and installed. Upon removing the cardboard packaging, and shrink-wrap, I found a nick on the quartz top, a cut (more like a "gash") on the left side of the vanity, and drawers that don't align or close to be level with the rest of the body. The last items especially cannot be known until the entire vanity is fully installed. The owner offered to replace it with another vanity. There are several problems with that -- one is removing the installation, which would include undoing the plumbing, and finding a way to bring it downstairs again, when bringing it upstairs was difficult enough. And the probability that these problems with the drawers not aligning will likely exist with the new vanity, since it has to do with sloppy construction and bad design. It's not likely that the piece that I have is the only one with these issues. Curiously, the handyman who installed the vanity showed me that there were holes drilled on the back of the vanity, as if someone had planned on attaching a mirror. That means that the vanity is either returned to the store or "manufacturer" or it's a second hand piece. As for the gash -- that is the most offensive flaw. I suppose I'll have to repair it with wood filler and live with it. What I have asked was that I be given a discount for these flaws. I hope the owner will change his mind and agree to do so.

I really liked the owner who I thought came across as honest, knowledgeable and a straight shooter. Also, the pricing was fair, the selection and quality of granite was impressive and they were very easy to communicate with. We put down a deposit and things got rolling quickly. The counters went down beautifully but there was some question about whether or not they'd be able to get all of the backsplashes done with the amount of material we had in our slabs. Ultimately, they made it happen without any drama or delay which was really appreciated. I also want to mention how impressed I was with their trustworthiness. They basically had complete access to our house for three days as well as the codes to get in and they didn't abuse the trust we placed in them whatsoever. The place was in exactly the same shape it was when we returned, with the exception of the fantastic granite they installed! All in all, great experience. Five stars.

It's an odd mix of a crew with the owners and management being Israeli and the contracting crew being Brazilian, but it works! The crew took their time and took great pride in their work, making sure everything was just right. I actually enjoyed having them around. They showed up for work promptly in the morning and went straight to work immediately, taking a break only for lunch. Pricing may be different than others, but that is up to you to decide. You get what you pay for and I got my money's worth here. Essentially you purchase all of the items you are remodeling like tile or a new vanity, for instance, and they charge for labor. Everything else is included. There is no worrying about time constraints. The job is one when everyone is satisfied.
