I have photos documenting the damage, including ruined personal belongings and consistently damp walls. My children began experiencing health issues, and despite multiple maintenance visits, including an outside company, they were unable to resolve the issue.We were left with no choice but to vacate the property for the safety of our family. Despite this, the management company charged us a massive early termination fee totaling two months rent, which I find deeply unfair given the circumstances.I am requesting a waiver of the early termination fee due to the uninhabitable conditions and the health risk posed to my family. BEWARE OF ANTS , RATS AND ODERLESS GAS!! Where do I even start with this... This review has been a long time in the making. In 2018, my oldest son and I moved into a two-bedroom apartment in Tuscany. It was a safe haven after a extremely hard time in our lives. Fast forward to 2023, and we are now a growing family with a new baby and my new husband. We moved into a three-bedroom apartment for more space. Never once were we late on rent in all those years, and never once did we give them an issue. We had a baby boy who was born in 2021 with complications. Soon after, we found out that the apartment had radon and mold. Then, we started having issues with a rat--yes, a rat! In our meticulously clean apartment! When we moved out, we were waking up every single morning with a rat pee in our shower that the complex could not catch! The radon was the most concerning issue. It is most definitely the reason my now 3-year-old has an auto-inflammatory disease. While we can't definitively prove it, logic suggests this is the cause due to the irritants in the air. Remarkably, he started to get better as soon as we moved out of that sick apartment. When we decided we needed to get out as soon as possible Tuscany would only let us out of the lease if we signed an NDA. I refused to sign because at that point we did not know the full extent of our baby's health issues. Also, because they do not deserve to get away with this!!! We decided to leave immediately, and Tuscany held a bill of over $5,000 for breaking the lease over our heads. They would not budge or work with us as they continued to destroy our lives. We eventually had to pay it. Not only did they almost kill my son with their failure to fix the radon issue they fully knew about for MANY years and did not disclose, but they also ruined my credit. To make matters worse, the complex is full of dead animals due to the toxins they spray all over or something sickening in the water. Their complete lack of empathy throughout this ordeal was monstrous. When we left, the rent was just under $3,000 a month, and even then, we were glad to pay it because we thought we were living in a safe and beautiful place until we could purchase a home of our own. I am only writing this review now because I had to pay the large sum of money to these criminals and did not sign the NDA, so I am free and clear to share my story. Lived in a lot of different apartment complexes through the years and I gotta say I love Tuscany the most. They really wanted to give you that resort feel and it's hard to say they don't deliver. The grounds are always kept in immaculate condition. They have a service that maintains the landscape what seems like everyday. They also provide a service to have trash picked up at your front door every night!! Gym is really nice all new equipment and a desperate studio room for yoga and about 6 spin bikes also. Wish they maintained the equipment a little better but everything works for the most part and they have a good mix of machines. read more

I have an update. If my story dissuades ONE person or family from moving into Atlantico at Tuscany, they will have lost more money than they gained from me; and it proves in this instance that greed is not worth it! The update is that my case with the BBB is left "UNRESOLVED". Basically what happened was that the Property Manager responded with legalese boiler plate nonsense about doing everything they can to ensure everyone's stay is a good one. They also attempted to provide photography which was black & white, grainy and undersized. None of which had any pictures of the carpets they allege were damaged. They also responded to my wife's 1 star rating on Facebook by claiming that "the BBB decided in our favor, so move on"! Pretty incredible social media strategy on their part. Very professional team out you have out there! But something tells me whomever the developer is and/or upper management only cares about $$$$$$$$$$$ read more

I've been living at Atlantico for almost four (4) years now and although the grounds are beautiful and the apartments are very nice, there's still a lot to be desired. The Storage rooms are mold ridden, which management is aware of & has residents sign an addendum along with the lease agreement. Initially they would replace the track lighting. now it's the residents responsibility, At $12.00 a pop. Parking was easy & convenient, now you need a decal & overnight guest must register otherwise they get booted, which makes the neighborhood look undesirable. At this time there are three cars with boots on them in my immediate vicinity. Residents were suppose to have access to the Club house which has a beautiful pool table, tv and seating area, 24 hours a day. Now it's only available during management hours 9:00 to 6:00, 10:00 to 5:00 or 12:00 to 5:00. Same goes for the business center. Atlantico is not the most inexpensive place to live, with a rental rate starting at $1,900 for a 2 bedroom. I wouldn't consider Atlantico luxury living at all, plus for that amount of rent I can find many other places with less hassle & 24 hour amenities. Just my thoughts. read more

We recently discovered there are very high radon levels in the apartments buildings in the complex. Tuscany neglected to inform us or a bunch of families we are friends with know about it. When my wife and I called the health department, they said the apartment building in Atlantico had a measurement of 10pCi/L! (they recommended if they don't resolve it quickly to move out) The safest level mentioned by the health department is 4 pCi/L. I would not recommend anyone live with such high levels of radon as it is the second leading cause of lung cancer. We have reached out to Tuscany and to corporate as well but no one seems to be taking it seriously or to give a timeline for resolution (they just keep mentioning they will look for a vendor to take care of it). I wouldn't want us, let alone my kids be exposed to this even for a day. I know of parents that even offered to pay to get the radon filter installed themselves but Tuscany wont allow it! Were basically either forced to live with it or forced to move out (which many of parents we know are already looking to break their leases and move out for their and their children's health). it is such a shame as this is a beautiful complex but the fact Tuscany is not proactive about this and for us to be living with this for a while without even knowing we are being exposed to poisonous gas is absurd! read more

I lived at Atlantico and I absolutely loved it here. The apartments are beautiful and the pool area/clubhouse is wonderful. They always have music playing by the pool and there is a great area for barbecuing as well. The staff are friendly and attentive. Maintenance requests are always responded to and fixed in a timely manner. This is also a very safe community. I have never had any problems living here. I highly recommend Atlantico to anyone looking for a safe, beautiful new home!! read more
