Highlight: I've lived here for a few months already and out of all the apartments I've hung with in friends places, I definitely consider this place one of the nicer apartment complexes. The venue feels new and is always maintained, you feel your rent matches the quality of the place you're staying, the people who live here are young professionals and tend to less party and wild, there is valet trash, awesome coffee (Starbucks) in the residential lounge, free printing and nice macs in the computer lounge, fun residential get togethers occasionally, secured parking garage, and the units feel clean/new. $1300 roughly for a studio- I think it's worth the investment if you want a nice place to live here in South florida. Some places in Boca charge higher prices but for lesser properties. I think this price I am paying is perfect for the kind of apartment Alta is. Apartment Units: The pro is that everything is marble top, modern coffee brown wood, and has a nice clean feel. You don't feel like you're moving into layers of gunk built on residues of past tenants. The air conditioning/heater is my only main problem- b/c the units are small and the air is fast/hard and strong, your room will be freezing cold for a short part of timeand then when the temperature hits set point, the apartment can get stale and stagnant- definitely true in the late fall time when the weather is still humid and gross outside but temperature isn't hot enough to move the air to turn on in the apartment. Maintenance: very on time, and you can put in work orders and expect them to take care of your request by the end of the day. There is valet trash and the property management keeps this place smelling nice (indoor hallways) and vacuumed and clean. Makes coming home everyday nice. People who live here- generally professionals, quiet folk, and people who have decent incomes. I lived in Boca Raton near Town Center and the crowd was questionable at times to where I didn't feel safe walking in the parking lot. I feel if I leave my door unlocked for a weekend, I wouldnt be worried about theft or people breaking in. Coffee- they have this nice Starbucks Coffee in their already nice residential lounge with TVs , movie theater area, and tables for people to hold meetings and play billiards while drinking coffee Swimming pool- it's a full 25 yards pool- enough so people can feel relaxed and lounge in it but also enough for athletes to swim laps for a full workout. Comfortable lounge chairs and never too noisy. There are also barbecue pits for people who want to do a cook out. There's a nice large dog park behind and also you're connected to the Delray Golf club from behind within walking distance. Parking- the garage makes one feel safe- Ive never locked my car before and I even park in guest parking downstairs without security and never feel worried about people breaking in or vandalizing my car Front desk- friendly people in the front. My fav is James, who is super chill and can help you with whatever concerns you have. read more

Very uncooperative, couldn't get them to return my security deposit tho they said I was to get $330 back on the &500 deposit. Scratch on fridge was the deduction. THIEVES! WoodPartners sold the complex three months ago, 7 months after I started hounding them for the check. The new owners deny any responsibility to return my deposit even tho you buy a company and assume their assets and liabilities THIS TELLS ME BOTH COMPANIES ARE THIEVES AND NOT TO BE TRUSTED! If you're looking for a place to live in Delray Beach you need to come check this place out! I've lived here for about 8 months now and the only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because there is no cell service in the building at all. You need WiFi to be able to communicate. Otherwise, this place is great! If you want to live in a luxurious apartment that's near Atlantic Avenue and is affordable this is the place to look. They have great/friendly management that work on any problem you have in a timely manner. They have great amenities including pool with cabana beds and shaded area, grills and outdoor tables (which is great for entertaining guests), a 24 hour gym and 24 hour lobby with free coffee and a pool table and TVs for more entertainment. Overall, I love living here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a new place. read more

We have been living here since last July and this community is everything we wanted and more! Being from The Bronx, NY, we instantly loved the cleanliness of the complex as well as the spacious apartment. What was new to us was the attention to detail and friendliness of the staff. Even as I walk from the enclosed garage (not very common in FL to our surprise), I see several people on the staff, first thing in the morning, cleaning the grounds and hallways. They wave hi as I walk past which made me feel much at home. Meeting and hanging out with other residents at the food truck parties organized by James makes me feel like I am back on Union Square after work. I lived here for one year, moved away, and then moved back because I liked it so much. First of all, the front desk leasing agents are always super friendly and caring. I worked with Ashley and Lisa again when moving back into this building. Ashley made extra efforts to ensure I had all of the necessary requirements met in order to have a smooth move-in day. These ladies really made the process easy. As for living here, it's the only apt that has a parking garage, which is so crucial in Florida with unpredictable weather. They will be nice until you get in then you will be just number not pleased at all ... they don't tell you how far the parking garage is from certain units and the trash room . They make you pay for garbage pick up and the garbage person sometimes doesn't come and yes they we're showing apartments like crazy during covid but they couldn't do any Maintenance and no one was in the office at all even after the restrictions were lifted . I leased a studio apartment fir three years at Alta Congress. There has been change in office staff ... some good/some bad. Rebekkah has been the best office staff... she truly cares ... and gets things done! The biggest problem I had was dog owners not picking up their dog poop. They have free bags and appropriate containers. They tried their best to keep Covid restrictions in place! It is a great location and nice amenities. I feel the studio apartments are too expensive for size. Lits of young people and interaction at the pool. All in all a good place to live! read more

This staff is absolutely amazing! By far the best apartment complex I've had to deal with yet. I came in to view a unit, was given a few options in my price range, and in less than a week, I was in my new place. Lisa and Ashely worked very quickly to get us in and tried to accommodate to us to make sure the whole process was as easy as possible. I've lived here for two months now, and the one maintenance order (broken light switch) was fixed within an hour. The whole complex is beautiful and well kept! You can't beat the price what you get. There's a spacious pool with tons of sun -shade area too-, two courtyards with several grills, a playground, valet trash, and best free coffee it's also super close to the highway which helps, and only a 5 minute drive to Atlantic Avenue. Really not sure why there's so many negative reviews for Alta Congress. The community is beautiful, lively and very well maintained. In the two months I've lived here: the office threw an awesome super bowl party with AYCE free pizza and wings and a giant big screen in the courtyard for the residents to watch the game (must've been 200+ people there hanging out enjoying drinks, pizza and football), they've brought food trucks, and other small events. As far as value, you get what you pay for and then some. Very nice amenities, heated pool, decent sized gym, free coffee machine in the lounge, business center. It's no 5 star Maui resort, but definitely falls in the category of a luxury apartment complex in south Florida. The only con I can think of is that the living area is a little too small, I would've opted for the larger floor plan in retrospect. However the bedrooms, massive walk in closets and tons of storage space makes up for it. These 1 star 'run for the hills' reviews are a bit over dramatic, I guess some people just love to complain over the little things. I thoroughly enjoy living here. read more

I first came to Alta congress before my lease was up at my previous apartment. When I walked into the lobby I was greeted by Ashley, who had such a warm smile and friendly disposition. I had already had a very strenuous day, (as I'm sure most of you know apartment hunting is anything but fun) but Ashley helped everything flow so nicely. I have moved apartment complex's so many times, and I have to say the staff at Alta is exceptional. They treat you like you are family, are quick to go above and beyond...even if it's not in their job description, and have exceptional attitudes. Came to visit some friends who live here and fell in love with this apartment complex! The property is very clean and it is a safe building with lots of security features, walking out to your car on your own you can feel safe! My friends told me about all the perks of living in this building including trash pick up services to your door! I wish I saw this place a month prior to renewing my lease! But rest assured when the time comes I will definitely be reaching out to the amazing staff. I believe the woman I spoke to briefly was Ashley. I was only able to speak to her for a short period of time but she left a great impression on me was very informative and advised me that when I'm ready to look to contact her! The location is great - just a few minute drive from downtown and right across from the trirail station and free downtown trolly. The building and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. I love living at Alta Congress! I've been here for almost 3 years and it just keeps getting better with time. Office management and maintenance staff are doing an awesome job with quality control and everyone is always cheerful and ready to assist. The amenities are really beautiful and incredibly maintained... from the pool area to the recreation room, the technology center and the fitness room. They even have the cleanest trash room I've ever seen (and smelled! lol). The apartments are luxurious, quite sound proof and every detail throughout from the quality finishes to the high end W/D unit is impressive. It's truly the best! Love Alta! read more

UPDATE: Got calls after I moved out asking if I was OK... apparently my former unit had a break-in. Glad I dodged that bullet! Wow, talk about some questionable reviews--its almost like they incentivize people to leave them high marks after moving in... Lived here for 3.5 years. Never a complaint against our unit, only ever tardy on rent by one day one time during our first months there when we didn't realize July 4th counted as the 4th day of the month despite the office being closed ($125 late charge, plus inconvenience of having to deliver a certified check before the office closed the next day to avoid another $125 charge). My experience was whatever, plenty of minor-to-moderate annoyances-- dishwasher never worked (gave up on it after getting it replaced twice), office hardly ever picks up the phone or calls back, grills rarely worked, mandatory trash pickup was spotty, they never did anything about the courtyard or the dog park being constantly filled with dog poop, they closed all amenities down and made demands outside of what was allowed by the terms of the lease after COVID, etc... thankfully, my experience was not nearly as bad as certain friends who had to move out after their apartment exploded with mold that ruined much of their clothing. But after moving out, they had the gall to charge us nearly our entire $600 security deposit for cleaning, repainting walls, and carpet replacement... things that every apartment complex I've ever lived in (7 total, with 4 of them in south Palm Beach county) chalks up to long-term tenancy and normal wear & tear. They claimed this was standard practice. So if you want the "standard" experience of annoyances, petty fees, and no security deposit, with a risk of mold infestation, then by all means, rent at Alta Congress. Otherwise, choose one of the many other apartment complexes in the area. read more
