I called to make an appointment and i was told there was a 10am available. I arrived at 9:45. The office was ice cold , no heart on.. i filled out the paperwork and was advised after that there was a mix up in appointments and my. Massage therapist was on her way... Now I'm sitting in a cold waiting area freezing. i asked if they can turn on the heat and he said it was on.. Two minutes later a therapist cones out of the room saying her client is cold... REALLY! The Receptionist now gets up and raises the heat. The receptionist has no personality and he is very bland. He had about 2 personal calls and seems to be annoyed. I'm coming here for a relaxing massage, My frustration is starting to build because it is now 10:14 I'm sitting in a cold waiting area. I'm taking in at 10:15 and the room is freezing! You have got to be kidding me! We the massage was very good but it ended 10 minutes early!! I was given a 30 min COMPLEMENTARY massage for the future due but I don't think I will be returned! I went to the St James location using a groupon, scheduling was pretty easy but appointments seemed kind of limited. The facility was kind of a hole in the wall, but nice inside. The massage was okay, not the best I've ever had but for $32 it was good. She definitely communicated with me a lot to make sure the pressure was good. The location could have been more peaceful, I could hear some car traffic from outside. Overall it was a good experience for the price. read more

This three venue "network" is incredibly difficult to schedule with. I actually forfeited a prepaid appointment NOT to have to deal with them again! I have had massages at St James and the therapists were okay. Not a good business to deal with for me! read more

I liked a therapist there, so I went several times, and she was great. However, the last couple appointments I scheduled were not handled well. The therapist was parting with the organization, I was treated terribly - possibly because the therapist was not leaving on good terms (the therapist had not disclosed to me the reasons for leaving, though the receptionist certainly gave that impression). For my last two appointments, nobody called in advance to confirm - the 1st of two appointment was supposed to take place in the Smithtown location. However, when I called to confirm that appointment, I was told the Smithtown location had closed and my appointment would now take place in St. James (how is that nobody called to inform me?). I was supposed to have the 2nd appointment yesterday (Sunday), and when I called Friday to confirm the appointment, I was told I was not on the schedule (despite the appointment being changed on the calendar only a week earlier) and that I should coordinate directly with the massage therapist. When I argued that the person I was speaking to should do the leg work of an internal discussion, even if that meant assigning a new therapist - since I'M THE CLIENT - the person finally agreed to discuss it with the owner and get back to me. I received a call back stating that another therapist would handle my appointment. However, when I arrived for my 90 minute massage, I found out that it was now in their calendar for 30 minutes, so I left. I have received no apology from the owner. The level of unprofessionalism from this establishment is beyond unacceptable. read more

I purchased a groupon for a massage from this company and due to a pending surgery on my shoulder I was unable to use it. The front desk offered instead a facial which I was thrilled about so I made an appointment for the next day. However due to complications I was going to be unable to make my appointment and gave them hours notice to arrange a reschedule or have a friend attend my appointment for another day. The individuals I then spoke to were rude and that if I couldn't make my appointment that I was forfeiting my groupon but that they'd have someone call me right back and I never heard from anyone until another individual called me four hours later asking where I was for my appointment. I informed that individual that I was expecting a call from a certain other individual to which the woman I spoke to had informed me that the woman I was waiting to hear from had already left for the day. It's now over 24 hours later and I have not been contacted at all. I am very upset with the customer service and lack of communication and now wasting my money which they don't seem concerned with. They were not welcoming or seem to understand that life happens unexpectedly. Won't be bothering with this again. read more
