Staff was helpful, kind & detail oriented about any of the services I'll be receiving. But the best part was the adjusting. Dr. Hamer is GREAT. I seriously can not say enough great things about Dr. Brown Hamer and his wife Dr. Fabi Hamer. I walked, rather limped, through their door after being T-boned on my driver side door by a Dodge Ram. My car was totaled, and so was my back. I called them after reading a review on yelp, and they told me they were booked up, but after hearing that I was in alot of pain, Dr. Hamer told me to come in and that he would make time to take care of me. I have never received such attentive care. I've been to many chiropractors in the Dallas area, and I can safely say that Brown is the best. He got me all straightened out, literally, and his detailed documentation made dealing with my insurance a breeze. During physical therapy, he was extremely motivating, and I made a full recovery in no time at all. I was so happy with my experience that I joined their wellness club (and you should too, it's the best deal in town). Now I swing by every few weeks to get an adjustment or one of Fabi's superb massages. If you have knots, she'll knock 'em out. The couple that runs Atlas are fantastic. I received a massage at Atlas as a Christmas gift this past year and it was wonderful! Just what I needed to get through the whirlwind of the holiday season. Their receptionist is sweet and personable.. ask her for a cup of their tea. Delicious and helps you relax. Now don't think this is a "salon" massage place... it's a Chiropratic office. They are very knowledgable and ask you questions about your pain points and want to know about your history. Very professional. Finally a chiropractor who knows how to work with TMJ (many claim they know how but actually have no clue) and his massage therapists know how to do myofascial release which is also extremely difficult to find! Hands down the best. Dr Hamer actually listens, hears your concerns, remembers your pain, and Cares! I had an old shoulder injury that healed poorly, and I was in constant pain. Dr Hamer's attention to my specific needs, and the added Myofascial release made a huge difference in my body's ability to heal. I worked for years with other chiropractors and never saw much lasting improvement. It was the same old story: 15 minutes on a tens unit, 2 minute adjustment, never really listening to my progress or lack there of. Atlas couldn't be more different. Dr. Brown and his staff are awesome! Went in with lower back strain due to being too old and still lifting weights at the gym in the wrong way. After some stimulus and some massage I left feeling much better and with better range of motion. Dr. Brown has a great grasp on physical ailments and is able to diagnose and treat them efficiently.
