Sadly Chiro appointments aren't covered for me right now, so I won't be enjoying the benefits of adjustments just yet, but in the meantime I have to review the incredible massage I received from Taylor (I hope I remembered his name correctly). I have the stiffest IT bands and my glutes have been constantly under fire ever since taking up so much cardio. He specifically focused on those areas and beyond just massaging them, he really stretched me out which I was very much in need of - I left feeling great. Of course I love massages, but for some reason I've never been a huge fan of professional ones - usually I just feel awkward having a stranger rub me, but mostly because I don't feel like they heal or soothe me (even when I request deep tissue). They provide many other things such as physical therapy , tens units, hot cold therapy, and much more. Started, due to chronic knee pain, diagnosed as reinjuring of an old Meniscus Tear injury and inflammation. Dr. Blankenship treated the knee with an Activator Adjusting Instrument, along with other chiropractic techniques and I can report absolutely no pain any longer. I went from feeling broke down to feeling good as new! The treatments were twice a week for a short period, then as improvement became evident, treatments tapered off to once a month. I also continue wellness care under Dr. Blankenship due to being treated for cancer and I choose chiropractic treatment as a companion to traditional treatment.
