Fantastic glass, terrible experience. My item finally arrived at the store with a huge scratch on it so I was forced to wait almost an entire month for a new piece of glass. I decided to just let it go when my new order finally arrived and Jeff was nice enough to take $7 off. I figured this was fair because they screwed up my first order. Well, it turned out that Jeff took too much cash from me because we both had forgotten about my $50 deposit (it had been so long ago...). When I went back to pick up my extra cash Jeff had also taken the $7 (initially discounted) out of the amount owed back to me. I said "wait, you took the $7 out? I was into it, like a discount for waiting so long." Jeff proceeded to laugh in my face and said "ha! $7 dollars?". I am very disappointed in how long it took and what a mess that place is. There is a lack of communication as well, Jeff sometimes straight up doesn't respond. Also, the guy they usually have working there doesn't acknowledge you when you walk in and he comes across as super rude. Long story short: I was told "2-3 working days" before putting my trust in Jeff and Atlas Glass. After waiting 15 working days, I weirdly had my $7 discount stollen back from me. If you are willing to put up with some nonsense and poor costumer service, then by all means give this place your hard earned money. read more

I bought a massive mirror - one piece, no seams, no frame - 7ft wide x 6.5ft high for my zoom dance classes. Working with Jeff and Atlas Glass was so easy. Jeff came to measure and calculate the maximum size mirror that would fit through my doors, up my stairs, and around the bends. Within a few days, he and his team installed the mirror. The price was significantly lower than any other local glass company and Jeff is a very lovely and kind person. It was so easy and pleasant to work with him. I DEFFFF suggest Atlas for mirrors! I called Atlas and spoke to Jeff who went out of his way to help me. He went even called up my contractor to get the exact dimensions. Like others, we had a fairly disastrous experience with Jeff, who we were introduced to through a decorator. He installed a shower door that was missing a variety of gaskets, so it leaked water everywhere when used. He repeatedly blew off appointments to fix this, blaming all sorts of creative excuses, such as weather, traffic, wrong parts, you name it. Sometimes he didn't even make an excuse. But after many months he finally did come and install the gaskets. The problem was that while he was doing that, he damaged the door hinges and caused it to strike the floor as it opened. Again with the endless excuses. He constantly committed to us to fix it - it isn't like he completely went to ground or refused to help - but he just never showed up. Finally we paid another vendor $200 to come and actually fix the thing properly. At the end of the day, we thought Jeff acted like a buffoon, which was really regrettable given how expensive the project was and how much competition there is out there for this sort of work. I've used this place twice - to copy/replace an old bathroom mirror glass and also to fix one of our car windows after someone broke in. I brought in the old mirror glass and Jeff made a new copy of it within a couple of hours. Excellent service. So a few days ago when someone broke in to my car - I thought I was call Atlas. Turns out they do fix car windows, and they did a great job! Again Jeff was great to work with. We only found the damage to our car late on a Thursday afternoon and even though the new glass for the window wouldn't arrive at Atlas for a few days, Jeff let us park our car in the store, where it was safe. I didn't want to leave the car in the street with a window missing! Then a few days later I got a call that it was done and I'm very happy with the work and the service. They take insurance and all is good as new. A big thanks to Jeff and the team at Atlas. Highly recommended. They even vacuumed up the broken glass that was all over the inside of the car from the old window which was a VERY nice touch, and highly appreciated. read more

We have had a horrible experience with Atlas Glass Co. We used them to make and install a glass shower door. They were weeks late in installing the shower door and never returned phone calls. When they finally installed the door it was horribly done. Another contractor told us we should get our money back. When we called to have them fix the problems they again never returned phone calls until we threatened to sue them. When they finally returned they made the problem worse. They left shards of metal on the floor, caulk stuck to the toilet and floor and a huge dent in the wooden floors OUTSIDE the bathroom, which they denied. They ripped up the finish on the shower and glued down a metal edge that actually makes the shower leak more. We now have to pay someone else to repair the damages. read more

Jeff from Atlas Glass was hired by a contractor I was working with on a project. It took Jeff 2 months+ to create the first set of 8 shelves, which were only delivered after I called him on repeat and he was paid in full. Upon delivery they dropped all 8 shelves onto the ground and shattered them all. Jeff promised to replace the shelves as it was his team who dropped them. After calling him on repeat for another 4+ weeks or so Jeff finally confirmed that he would bring the shelves. When these were delivered we were 1 glass shelf short and 3 of them were broken significantly and needed to be replaced. I now cannot reach Jeff via phone or email. He has not replaced the shelves that were broken/never arrived and never reimbursed me for them. Stay away from this company - he is an unprofessional, rude crook. read more

The manager (Century Management Services Inc) of my co-op hired Mr. Jeff Herman to fix/change the window in my bedroom. He came and said that the window is in terrible shape and he will see what he has available. I waited a few days for him to get back to me but he never did, so I emailed him. I heard back a few days after saying that he's looking. I emailed a few weeks after that but there was no response so I contacted the manager and he said that Mr. Herman is still looking. That was in April. Not sure what he is looking for since I have a standard cheap white window. I emailed him again but there is no response. read more

Don't ever do business with atlas glass. They botched the installation of two huge mirrors on my closet doors, so one just fell, 50 pounds of glass, which could have killed my wife or boys. Then when I complained to Jeff the manager, he hung up the phone, and proceeded to dodge all responsibility, blamed anyone and everyone else, then lied that he'd order new mirrors right away, only to reinstall the same old mirrors, chipped and damaged, over two months later. No he won't answer my emails or calls. Don't ever do business with Atlas Glass. read more
