Just a few months after our initial shower installation, we noticed the caulk had started turning a brownish-yellow color, and it extended all the way up the shower to the ceiling. We were incredibly disappointed and discouraged, especially after being so excited about our new shower. It was frustrating to see something that should have looked clean and fresh begin to deteriorate so quickly. Thankfully, Dave Ford came out to our home to address the issue. He took the time to carefully assess the problem and did a meticulous job correcting the caulk work. His attention to detail and professionalism truly made a difference. Thanks to his efforts, our shower now looks brand new again, and we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. We contracted with Atlas Home Improvement through Home Depot. Phase 1of the project was a tub and suround replacement. All went well and finished job was beautiful. When it came time for phase 2 (wall tile removal/replacement), no one would return my calls regarding start/completion dates. I contacted our salesman who informed me that phase 2 had not been contracted or funded, despite the fact we went through all details of selecting finishes, wainscoting, colors, etc, with him at the initial consultation. So, we spent over $16,000 for just a tub when we were led to believe that was the cost of the entire project. NEVER AGAIN! We would NEVER have agreed to spend that much on just the tub area. Work was beautiful, however price and sales tactics are unacceptable. read more

If you call them, they'll make all kind of excuses plus they'll transfer you to this horrible woman named Amber who has ZERO costumer service skills. Amber deserves to sit in front of a computer only, she is NOT FIT to interact with customers. If I could give zero stars I would. Atlas Home Improvement installed a shower that leaked, failed inspection, and has been unusable since installation. The Atlas sales person provided us multiple certificates of various "guarantees," including a guarantee that its installers go through a rigorous background check and are the "premier craftsman in the industry." We were told the tear out and shower installation would take two days. The installer representing Atlas arrived at the job with the wrong products and tried to convince us he could "make it work." The installer was anything but professional and/or a "premier craftsman." The installer colored in screw holes instead of putting screws where screws belonged, he left caulk all over the walls and shower door rails, and when he became frustrated with the project, he smoked marijuana in our driveway, and threw tools at his trailer. He was at our home until 11 pm on two of three days it took to complete the project. We later found out the installer was a convicted felon with a lengthy criminal history. Oh yeah, and he stole copper from our home during the installation. Atlas was mostly unresponsive to our complaints, but eventually a "quality control" representative from Atlas came to our home. After inspecting photos we had taken during installation and inspecting the shower itself, the Atlas quality control employee determined that the entire project had to be torn out and redone. He later sent me an email apologizing for our shower installation experience and confirmed that the entire project would have to be redone, and gave us a "redo" date. As the "redo" date approached, we had not heard anything from Atlas. After multiple attempts to communicate with them about the project redo, I was finally able to speak with the quality control person that been to our house. He claimed the new product had been damaged but they were still trying to get us on the schedule. After the disastrous experience we had already had, you would've thought that he would stay in communication and provide us with status updates on the shower installation redo. It appears Atlas' moto is "It's all about trust," as that phrase is depicted all over their website and sales material that we were provided. After a completely failed shower install, a breach of contract, multiple failed "guarantees", and a failure to communicate on their part, we decided that we no longer trusted this company. I asked that Atlas come and remove there product, we would be seeking a refund, and finding a reputable contractor to work with. Atlas then threatened us with their lawyers. At this time, it has been nearly six months since Atlas installed an unusable shower. It's still unusable as of the time of this review. We have been forced to seek legal counsel and Atlas has been unresponsive to our legal counsel. Working with Atlas has been the worst experience of my life as a homeowner. This company is the worst! Atlas represented that our bathroom shower project qualified for a Costco program rebate (10% shop card). It was expressly handwritten by them on the purchase order and was the reason we selected them. Nevertheless, the expected Costco-issued shop card was not provided at the end of the project. After 5 weeks of what felt like getting the run around to my concern, I communicated that I would have to pursue small claims if it were not resolved per the contract. The next day they offered about 1/3 the shop card value and said it was the best they could do, so I filed the small claims in December 2025 to which they refunded my credit card for the full amount of the missing shop card 4 days later, however without me receiving any notification so I didn't find out until reviewing my credit card statement a month later. When I did speak to them again I felt they were quite rude. We had originally discussed "Phase 2" to remodel the rest of the bathroom after the shower but I fortunately waited to see how the shower phase went before signing on so that will no longer happen. read more

Overall the entire project was mismanaged. Drywall work was initially done poorly, installed damaged and wrong vanity set, we had them remove it, bathroom took 9 months due to lack of experience. 10 people worked of it. We had another company do the basement restroom which was the same size and 1 person completed that in 30 days and that was the tougher job. In good conscience we can't recommend them for anything including shower replacements. read more

They installed a new shower almost 1 year ago. Had to call them back twice due to lack of shower pressure. The shower is not functional at all!! it has taken several months to get service to take a look . They came out twice and fixed it temporarily. But after 2 weeks stops working again, basically no shower pressure. We have been trying to get them to come back for the last 3 months. We are told to call their master plumber. The master plumber tells us to call their office and back and forth!! In the mean time we have not been able use our shower more than a dozen times in the last 10 months. I signed on with this company through Costco to get my tub and shower gutted and remodeled with these jokers. I chose this route because Costco is a reputable company and surely they'd choose a reputable vendor. By the way, Costco dropped them because of their "terrible customer service". Too bad I was in the middle of still having to deal with this company. I'll save the long drawn out story (gurgling drain, loose faucet, shoddy soffit, uneven walls) of having to constantly call them from the terrible install Feb 19, 2025, until it was finally done over in September 26, 2025. The reason I'm giving this review is I really want to praise Mike and Matt. Mike was the first worker to actually be honest about the install noting there was a lot wrong with it. This was in June, Atlas first came out in February. Because of him, Atlas FINALLY conceded and agreed to redo the whole thing. Matt is the redo guy, he did such a great job, and was transparent, honest and polite. He showed me each thing that was wrong and showed me how he fixed it. I'm happy with the redo, and I'm grateful for Matt and Mike, but I will never use this company again. read more

I had a new bathtub and new surround installed by Atlas and was very pleased. After installation I had a stroke and needed to use a seat in the tub along with the handheld shower to wash due to paralysis. Move forward to a year later: my granddaughters came to stay and they wanted to use the rain shower head! It didn't work and still doesn't work! I've called 6 times with no response! All I want is someone to come fix it, even if I have to pay a service charge. I am so disappointed in how they are handling this! Waited 6 months after initial deposit to have new shower installed. Now a month later I realize the top show head is not working.

I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. In May of 2023 they installed a shower in my bathroom, and I was not happy with it from the first day. Two years later I'm still not happy with it. The caulking was very poorly done, its a mess. The floor had to be taken out and put back in. They installed a seat that went all the way across the back of the shower and only left me 6 inches to get out of the shower, if could get into it at all. They had to remove that and put in a little triangular bench. You would think that the "expert" who was designing my shower would know that a bench the size they were putting in would not work, but he wanted to charge us for the more expensive one. Which we're not refunded for. After many tries of trying to get this shower the way I wanted it I gave up it wasn't worth the aggravation and the hassles. However, two years later, the faucet has fallen off the wall, I can't take a shower because, while I can hold the faucet up on the wall, it only turns on cold water. I'm going to a neighbors to shower only 2 years after getting my "beautiful" jacuzzi shower installed. They want to charge me over a hundred dollars to comse service my shower. The whole process was horrible! I would rate them a ZERO but that option isn't available! read more

I went through the Home depot web site for service quote to replace a tub and surround. Atlas contacted me for quote. They came out to give a bid on the job. I was told it would be 12-14 weeks due to material lead time. I asked way so long. I can go buy what I want at "Home Depot" today! The salesperson reply, "We DO NOT use Home Depot material! Why would Home Depot use a company for install that do not use their products!! Even so should nit take 12-14 weeks to get a tub and tub surround. Had a new tub, surround and fixtures installed in August. they did some unauthorized and undisclosed modification, had to get a plumber to fix a fabricator error, took 6 days instead of the 2 guaranteed, modified area around a window such that decorative cover could not be replaced, never gave an accurate schedule. Charged top dollar. In the end it works fine. I wrote a review about all this and the fact that there was no follow up. The owner responded, expressed concern about the issues. That was late August. So far no follow up, no calls, nothing. Would not recommend. read more

The shower they installed looks good, from a distance. At the time of installation I wasn't installing a glass door, so I guess they didn't think it was important to keep the wall angle at 90 degrees. The shelves were coming off after about 6 months, but they did re-adhere them when they came out. Tried twice to get the team to come out (the second time they left a card when we were 10 mins late getting back to the house for our appointment and after not calling us 30 mins in advance prior to our appointment time to confirm as requested). I had a sales guy from Atlas Home Improvement come to my house today to give me a quote to install Gutter Helmet. After the inspection the sales guy gave me a quote and was forcing me to sign the contract. He got pissed off and started to behave in a very unprofessional way and he was throwing stuff and kicked the door while he was heading out. Never had a situation with any company like this ever. We had a high pressure sale but agreed to the terms to get a few bucks off. They did half of the project 6 months after signing and finished it 4 months after that. There were several errors which gave us the impression that we were working with a novice crew. We asked to have the shower curtain raised after the install which they did after a few months. We didn't have the curtains on so we assumed it was high enough but it wasn't & to get them out again will cost us over $100. They give you little choice of vanities, lights and fixtures. Even flooring is very limited. They don't cover painting or cabinets. I think your better off picking out everything and hiring a contractor to install. read more

We had Atlas Home Improvement take out our bathtub and put in a walk-in shower. Firstly, the kid that did the work was 18! The shower shut off in a strange spot instead of up, down or on one side or the other. Also put in a screw for the part that keeps the doors separated and it rusted. A repairman came to fix a few things and he put in another screw that rusted even though we specifically asked him to put in a stainless steel screw so it wouldn't rust. You can't use bleach on the shower, just vinegar and water - 50/50. It doesn't work to remove mold as they stated. It's too hard to wipe down the shower when you're getting ready for work. I was sick and couldn't clean and ended up with quite a bit of mold. They couldn't help me by giving me the name of something to use. Krystal told me she would call me back after speaking with "the guys" to find out what I could use that wasn't bleach and never did. Before that, she said we probably need the caulk replaced and gave me a quote of $375!! to replace caulk!! When I questioned why it was so much, she said they had to charge me mileage. I guess they don't want business from the east side. I heard about them on WDVD radio and messaged the DJ who promoted them. She said they did a great job. For the amount of money they charged to begin with, I would NEVER recommend them to anyone! Not to mention they were supposed to contact me to do the other side of the bathroom with the vanity and toilet and never did, but keep sending me their business cards to give to someone else to drum up business for them. The original team was professional, but they missed a gap behind the gutter that they should have caught as part of the gutter tuneup included in the installation. Mistakes happen. What separates good service from bad is how the mistakes are addressed. The service manager, Kevin Fritz, came out, verified the problem, and spent several hours identifying the source of the leakage, correcting it, and testing the fix. Today was the first heavy rain since he came out, and there is zero leakage. read more

I was leery about this company after hiring them and then reading reviews. Unlike some of the reviews, I didn't find their sales process to be any more pushy than other home improvement companies. Specifically, I was sending the salesman away, awaiting the "I can only offer this price if you purchase right now" bit, but that never came. The price quoted was what he offered and honored. They did have several options, based on how I wanted to finance/pay for the work. The installation date took a while because they had to order everything for my job. When it came, they showed up on time and started to tear out my tub. On the second day, Kevin noted that the shower pan required them to move the drain, but that moving it would lead to too many twists and turns. He said that it wouldn't meet code, and that it was likely to overflow the shower pan on a regular basis. They offered to "fix" the issue by changing out to a tub. The quote for a tub was a lower price by several hundred dollars, and they honored that, even though they had already bought materials (including a glass door) for a walk-in shower. They had no idea what they'd find when they tore out my tub, and I commend them for pointing out the problem, telling me my options, and giving me a reasonable solution. The job took two days, plus an extra visit to install the door for the tub. The final result looks good and functions well. read more

We had our system installed March 2021 and it still looks great..!! Still not crazy about not being able to use bleach but we're getting by with the new non bleach cleaners; just still taking a little, getting use too. We've had to add waterproof edgeing tap from amazon to the edge of the shower doors. To keep the water from splashing on the floor. Other than that we're heading into our 4th year and the system still looks nice and new..Great job Atlas..!! read more

I just want to express the absolute unpleasant experience I had with this company. Atlas blew my phone up to try and get my business then I finally scheduled a consult and the sales rep, Chad was over the top rude and insulting about my home (bathroom) then assumed I couldn't afford how much my bathroom would cost. My 93 year old mother had her bathroom done. It is a 5x8 bathroom, very small. She got a new shower, no doors, a new toilet and a vanity with new countertop and sink. She hung up her old shower curtain. A new floor which measured 56 inches square, puts in a piece of vinyl flooring . The salesman Brian Helm quoted her $22,000 dollars. No cabinets, nothing new on the walls, old wallpaper 37 years old. A bathroom this size should cost about $8000 tops for what was done. Products look like they were bought from Home Depot. They put in a bar sink faucet which is too high on the sink and she cannot push the drain cap to hold water in the sink, complained but not taken care of yet. We are having to strip wallpaper, painting the walls and putting in cabinets, spending more money. This all should have been included in this outrageous price. Atlas Construction has no integrity whatsoever. They took advantage of an elderly woman. I do not recommend this company to anyone. Lose this number for this company!! read more

I had Atlas remodel my bathroom a few years ago. I spent $15,000 and the quality of the products they used was not worth the money I spent. Someone from Atlas was supposed to come over and change the handles on my glass shower doors and they never came. Our purchase and install of our gutter helmet system was great. The problem occured 2 years after when we needed to replace our roof. Only certified gutter helmet companies are authorized to remove and reinstall without voiding warranty. When scheduling the removal\reinstall I was quoted a price that was 40% of the install price, I asked for an explanation of the price I was told by the operations manager Ela Pichan that she did not need to provide a breakdown, that was the price, that I was a bully and Atlas did not want me as a customer. I asked to speak with someone higher, she said she the operations manager and there was no one higher than her in the company. Gutter helmet works well, although expect lots of icicles in the winter. I would advise anyone not to purchase from Atlas as based on my experience Atlas doesn't want to perform anything other then install. read more

Set up my appointment for a Saturday, got a confirmation call the Thursday beforehand - all great, no issue, although first warning should've been when they screwed up the appointment time. No worries though I can make it work. Saturday comes, no calls, appt. time comes and goes, as do many more hours with nothing. I figure something happened, although I'm still not happy, but hey ill get a reschedule call Sunday...maybe Monday...ok maybe an email since you have that. Nothing until today, middle of the work day. Maybe you figured I wasn't a REAL buyer and just wanted a quote, but even so, just call and give me the courtesy. I told them i would change fhe product i picked out they said it would take evan longer. I am not sure were they are getting there product from and concerned its coming from China. In 2020 Atlas offered a contest to remodel a veteran's bathroom in which I entered my disabled, Vietnam veteran and former Marine Corp League Commandant, father. Covid threw things off and the company very well could have scraped the project but in 2021 I found out my father won. I never really thought these things were real. Vietnam was the turning point on how America viewed war and its veterans. Media, with it being the first broadcast war, opened a can of worms that had never been unleashed. Men who were formally met with glory came back to opposition and disrespect. Today we honor and glorify our service men and women but for Vietnam veterans and others after it wasn't always that way. That is why the contest was so important to me. I truly wanted my dad to get the appreciation for his sacrifice that he didn't in his time and now, all these years later, is still suffering the aftermath of. Agent Orange plagued him as it did many others who fought. Today he is an amputee from its side effects. He has dialysis 3x a week. As the song says, "Oh I've been home 40 years or so but I'm still stepping off of the plane." Darian and those at Atlas helped give my father those flowers. They had a little procession with media, flowers and balloons coming down the street to surprise my dad. He loved it! I don't know the value of the remodel but for FREE, they gave my father a jet powered tub, toilet with accessibility bars, a new sink, vanity, lighting and floor; THE WHOLE SHEBANG In a time of profit and self these people took the time out to give back and we're forever grateful. Darian and his veteran father came out and met with my dad. Travis, Dave Ford, Kevin Martin, Andrew Robinson, Henry Brewer, Amber Clark and just everyone was so GREAT. Very personable, professional, polite and present. I absolute love their work and more than anything, their spirits. These are GOOD PEOPLE. GOOD AMERICAN PEOPLE AND AN AMERICAN BUSINESS! A gentlemen from Atlas called to setup an appointment and when I told him he would just be meeting with me and not with my husband he refused to schedule an appointment with me. He only would come out if my husband would also be available for the appointment. I find this to be very sexist. I explained to him I make the decisions on remodeling the home and that didn't seem to matter to him. He kept pushing a weekend appointment. I told him we have 3 small children, both my husband and I work full-time and that I could only meet with him. So his preference was to not schedule an appointment with me. I have never experienced this type of treatment when dealing with a multitude of businesses over the past 30+ years. They basically lost a $15k-$20k remodel because of this 1095's policy. read more

Please do your homework.Let the buyer beware. I have called several times and they will not return my call because the shower head in the tub is faulty. I had a tub, toilet and floor tile installed. The toilet was supposed to be free because we originally purchased their top of the line Jacuzzi Tub. They claim the install would require putting pipes on the outside of our home. Not acceptable and we were not told that would be a possibility. The tub is very slippery. We had to purchase a mat to keep from falling when we get in the tub. I was overcharged 5k for the tub. I asked for an itemized bill. I was told they do not provide one. No permits were received as promised. Worst experience I could ever have. I do not recommend Atlas under any circumstances. I like many others I was provided this company name by Home Depot. I too was told that all members in the household had to be present although I am the decision maker. The person who arranged my appointment had no idea what I was asking for which was installation of the 3 piece bathroom set (tub, wall, and shower door) I had seen at the Home Depot. I purchased the Gutter Helmet product from Atlas approximately 10 years ago. The contract stated that when it was time for my roof to be replaced Atlas would remove and then re-install the Gutter Helmets at no charge, to me (if the roof was purchased from Atlas). Last month I called to get a quote for a new roof. I was told that Atlas no longer provided that service. When I inquired about the guarantee for free removal and re-installation of the Gutter Helmets I was given one very expensive option. Have the new roofing contractor remove the Gutter Helmets and then Atlas would sell me new Gutter Helmets. Basically I would be throwing away the product that I spent thousands of dollars on and starting over. This was certainly not the solution that I was seeking. The fact that Atlas was not willing to work with me on a more reasonable solution was extremely disappointing. Did I say that the original project was very costly? My recommendation to anyone doing business with this company ... get every scenario for repair and replacement in writing. Do not leave anything for interpretation. read more
