I stopped going to this clinic because of the lack of care provided and the disrespect surrounding my injury. This was over 6 months ago, and now they charged my card $243 without warning or consent. No itemized statement or any communication about the charge was ever made despite there being strict laws about this type of practice. Highly recommend Atlas PT! Restored my back to full health (after several years of persistent lower back pain and limited mobility from a sports injury)! Brett and Angela are the best, super personable and knowledgeable, and I always look forward to seeing them. Since I tore a muscle in my lower back playing basketball four years ago, I was never able to fully recover and get back to my active lifestyle of working out and playing sports. I was always in some degree of discomfort and was constantly terrified of re-injuring my back. I would see some slow recovery and then just a slight mis-movement would undo all of my progress. I had worked with chiropractors and massage therapists for a few years and would have short-term benefits but would eventually end up re-injuring myself doing the slightest things. I had never worked with a physical therapist before because honestly I just didn't know what they would do besides have me do things I already know (do some stretches and lift some light weights). I ultimately went to Atlas because I was starting to lose hope and was thinking back surgery may be inevitable. I could not be MORE GRATEFUL for coming to Atlas! It has been life-changing, and that isn't an exaggeration. My back is PAIN-FREE for the first time in YEARS and my lower back mobility and strength is probably better than when I got injured. I have had a couple small setbacks over the last few months but my body recovered so much quicker and it has never gone back to where it was before. Today, I feel great and can't believe that I'm only going in every other week and typically show up without any pain. I'm fully on the path to recovery and have full confidence - for the first time in years - that I will get my life back and have a stronger, more flexible, back than before. I've been going here for over a year. First P/T on my back after surgery to fuse L3 and L4 and again after two achilles tendon surgeries. Brett and Angela are awesome to work with. Brett is the therapist and Angela his assistant who helps make sure you are doing the exercises correctly. They gave me home exercises and instructions and encouragement all along the way. Lukas and the team at Atlas Downtown got me through breaking my leg virtually in half. I saw them once every week for 4 months and then every other week for another 4 months. After weeks of dealing with a stiff, sore back from slipping on stairs, I finally decided to schedule a physical therapy appointment. Atlas was in-network with my insurance and was able to get me in within a couple days. After a full evaluation, Gabriel did some manual work on my back and did some dry needling where it was super stiff. He had me do some exercises after that. Gabriel sent me home with a home exercise program to work on between visits. I only needed a couple appointments to feel much better. When discharged, he gave me additional exercises to progress to, if needed. Great experience! read more

Somehow at the ripe age of 35, I've had a lot of issues and I've worked with a lot of acupuncturists and chiropractors over the years with varied results and satisfaction rates. I've been seeing Luke off and on since 2015 and I feel safe when I'm under Luke's care.. I know when I leave I will always be better than when I entered. I started seeing him due to chronic neck issues and continued to see Luke when I tweaked my shoulder. Both issues are on-going, but that's because I play hard and haven't gone to see Luke in quite some time. He was my primary choice when I eventually had hip reconstruction. He was patient with me after that surgery yet he pushed me when I didn't want to work any more which led to a better recovery than I could have had otherwise. Luke is friendly, thoughtful, and in most importantly in this role, he is competent. Just scheduled my first appointment in a while and felt that a review was in order to help others make a decision if they were on the fence while choosing a great PT. One of the best PT experiences I have ever had. It has taken me a while to get this review up here, but I just wanted to thank every staff member at Atlas for making my visits wonderful. I was always excited to go and see Brianna after I dislocated my arm. She helped so much with my speedy recovery. They would always send me home with exercises to work on, and even kept up with my small talk remembering all the details. It was all my fault, I waited until my knee tendonitis was so bad I could barely walk. At my age (63) you would think I should know better. But the team at Atlas did a remarkable job of putting me back together. After the third visit I felt substantial improvement. They gave me some new stretches to do on a daily basis, and made some minor modifications to my current exercise program that will prevent this from reoccurring. Of course it was completely up to me to do the stretches and exercises, Luke and Hanna can't do them for me. But by following their directions I am fully back on my feet and enjoying the summer. read more

My first PT experience was at Atlas! I tore my left ACL during a ski accident a few years ago and decided to get it replaced a year ago. Luke is the bomb and had me up and walking in a month! Also gives the best advice for what you can/cant do and what you should focus on. Unfortunately I had a year long string of bad luck and tore my right ACL in a bike accident and had replacement surgery and then had my meniscus touched up a few months later. My year long recovery has been at Atlas and they haven't let me down! Their times are always flexible and the people there are super fun and make the recovery process something to look forward to every week. This was my first PT experience, which was following a herniated disc at 4-5, followed by an internal infection in the area. I could barely walk when I first entered Atlas, and after starting at Atlas post infection, I am back in the gym doing light exercises and pain free, going 2 x per week. Karl and Matt were super helpful in not only helping managing the pain levels but showing me how to do exercises on my own when I was not at PT. The facility is super convenient to get to downtown and has a very friendly laid back environment. I highly recommend to anyone in the area. read more

I started working with Karl in May 2016 after a total knee replacement of my left knee April 11th. I led an active life prior to this surgery; cycling, yoga, swimming, and skiing. While some of these activities were becoming a bit painful prior to the surgery, my hope was that once I had a "new knee" I would be able to get back into all the things I love. I went to my therapy appointments with Karl and his assistant, Matt, starting with twice a week appointments. Not only were they able to help me recover the range of motion and strength that I wanted, but provided me with the accountability to get all I could in the 5 months post surgery: the time period when the most gain can be realized. It was due to the work I did at Atlas that I was back to road cycling in late June, getting out on the bike 2-3 times a week with longer and faster rides each time. I went from riding 12 miles a day to 25, 30, 40, and 50 + miles. Happy to have accomplished Deer Creek Canyon and High Grade rides at the end of September. Karl and Matt gave me encouragement, and pushed me (often when I didn't want it) to get the strength and stability back in my body. I can't think of any better team to have on your side if one is going to recover from knee replacement. Karl cared about what I trying to do, helped me get there, and all in a kind and compassionate manner. Oh, he can be tough when you need it! And, to make a recovery, I needed to be challenged. I had my sessions at the 17th St. location. Parking was always easy to find on the street, or I took Uber and was dropped right at the door. My appointments started on time, never a wait. I received personalized therapy and conditioning exercises that were customized for me. I can't thank Karl enough and would highly recommend him and his assistant, Matt, to all. read more
