After initially defecting blame and trying to tell me that this level of dust was expected, the manager finally went and checked their own pile at the business to discover it was also a bad batch. He then wanted me to use what I could of the stone ("even under your planters if you can"... exact words from the manager) to save them from having to haul it back. He committed to calling back in two days once he could work with the quarry to get the stone replaced. A week later (and no phone calls) I call back to get more excuses about the quarry and more changing stories about whos fault it is (never theirs). After more dragging their feet they finally came to pickup the bad stone, only to trespass into my backyard and take photos. refuse to refund the stone I buried because they don't like the bad review I left. Follow up: The business had their delivery driver illegally break into my back yard and take photos to try to "prove" the stone was ok, not even understanding I already purchased replacement stone from Lowes. These guys are old school RI shady, DONT USE THEM. Plenty of other way options without the terrible customer service or awful quality products.

I fully understood that I would be charged a 15% restocking fee. The salesperson told me when I purchased the tile that it was "in stock" and coming from their NY warehouse. When I tried to return it though, the store manager told to me it was a "Special Order" and the sale was final. How is something coming from your own warehouse a special order? Sound like B.S. to me! Buy your tile someplace else. The big box stores let you return single tiles, in opened cartons and with or without a sales receipt and there is no restocking fee, period!

I like Webb because it has a different setup than most plumbing suppliers. Instead of keeping their merchandise in the back of a warehouse, Webb keeps the commonly sold merchandise on shelves, where you can grab a cart or basket and pick out what you need - kind of like shopping at a supermarket. It's basically self-service, and once you get to know the store's layout, you can get in and out of there very quickly. The way I see it, it's easier and faster to just grab what you want, rather than describe it to a counterman, although all of the service counter employees at Webb are on the ball and know their stuff anyway. The store is very organized. If I don't know where to find a certain item on their vast array of shelves, I just ask someone. Larger items are kept in the warehouse, and most pipe is kept in the yard. In addition to plumbing supplies, they also have an extensive selection of parts and supplies for hot water, steam and forced hot air heating systems, as well as oil burners. While the supply section of the store caters mainly to trade professionals, they have a large plumbing fixture showroom that would be of interest to homeowners. They sell American Standard and Toto toilets, both of which are excellent brands. I always receive excellent service, both in person and over the phone. The supply countermen are very polite and professional, and even have a good sense of humor. Their inside salespeople have helped me track down hard-to-locate repair parts many times.
