Clearly I love exploring new coffee shops! When I heard about Atmos I decided to head over on a weekday morning (parking!). Found a spot on a side street and made my way to this spot on the Detroit Shoreway. The vibe is modern eclectic. Plenty of places to sit including tables/chairs and booths . I opted for the honey espresso drink and a pistachio waffle. The drink was nice, there was espresso and a slight honey taste with some cinnamon; maybe it's better as a hot drink but I felt it fell a little flat. The pistachio waffle was a disappointment; a plain waffle with some crushed pistachios and syrup. It is a nice place to grab a cuppa and get work done but if im looking for a good creative coffee drink, not my first stop.

Great new addition to the Gordon Square neighborhood, specifically brightening up the corner with caffeine and pastry! We were greeted upon arrival, not just by the staff but the bright open space, it was so inviting. The menu is moderately priced with fresh brewed coffee and an offering of pastries and teas. Today we opted for the Americano and chai, both hot and made to order. It was nice to see people from the neighborhood walking to the cafe, sitting with friends and building community.

Atmos Coffee is a new coffee shop on Detroit Ave. right across from the Welleon Apartments. They opened in March 2026. I've visited twice now (well, 3 times but one of the times, they were closed due to a power outage). The first time I came, I noticed the owner sitting in one of the cubicles working on his laptop so he certainly cares about his business. AMBIANCE -- Nice design. Free WiFi. Lots of tables and chairs plus sofas. Big tables which is perfect for working on a laptop. A variety crowd of people (young and old). **A review that I read said there were lots of young people (teenagers) when the woman visited which I thought was interesting as whenever I've come, I've seen a good mix of different kinds of people. DRINKS -- They offer coffee and tea drinks plus they sell other drinks in a fridge that is situated right next to the front counter. On my visit in early April 2026, (I sat in, instead of takeout), I ordered an Oolong Tea which surprisingly came in a glass and not a tea mug but I was fine with that. The tea tasted as expected so no surprises there. Oolong Tea is an earthy flavoured tea so it isn't my favourite but I like to try different teas. During my second visit, I didn't buy a drink but I got a waffle (read below). FOOD -- They sell pastries and waffles. During my 2nd visit, I ordered their classic waffle which comes with a house made cinnamon honey syrup. The waffle was soft and tasty especially with the sweet cinnamon honey syrup. I also added some butter to my waffle. CUSTOMER SERVICE -- Good. I've been greeted upon walking in so it is a friendly environment. I've noticed employees walking around checking tables for empty plates and cups while customers were at their seats so that's nice. Atmos Coffee is a great location to hangout with friends, read with a book club, catch up on emails, or just relax. I'll certainly be back as I'm interested in trying their Pistachio Matcha. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 38/250 total reviews in 2026 - 879 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 22 April 2026

This is a modern, stylish, & sustainable new coffee shop located in Gordon square on Detroit!! It's across from pure fyxe!! It has a lot of bright, welcoming space to sit and chat, even a little "bar" area that I didn't photograph due to customers enjoying the area!! Huge cubbies for groups or large & small tables for 1-4 people!! Even a few lounging sofas/chairs!! They sell coffees, teas, food, & pastries!! They also have a free water station and other soda, water, etc products for sale! I decided on an iced pistachio latte and my boyfriend got the vanilla latte! The pistachio latte was yummy, refreshing and energizing on the sunny April day I visited!! The vanilla latte was also enjoyed in its entirety!! We also devoured their waffle... and this was delicious.... I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much but their syrup was phenomenal and the waffle was perfectly fluff!! The staff were friendly and helpful... clearing dirty dishes and asking if we needed anything! This is totally a cute little place I would love to come back and study at!!

Had to check out this new coffee shop in town! Aesthetics are great! However, first thing to notice was customer service was not too great. No greeting and everyone was very silent. Even handing me my order, not a good day or nothing. Place was as busy as can be which may take a toll but still experience is huge. Coffee was pretty good, not super flavorful with the flavors we got. The place was huge with lots of seating but still was a full house. We got food for eat in, and barely got a table, had to sneak between people to sit. Go early if you expect to study or hang out and eat in.

Came here on a Friday morning around 9:30 am. This place is a trendy spot taken straight from a magazine! There was no line to order. I got a tiramisu latte and a waffle. Service was very quick and all the workers were extremely friendly! My latte was fine, nothing special at all. It was iced, which I was surprised by. But my waffle was huge and soooooo good! Mmm!!! Every table was taken by a young person working from home. I felt out of place, like I was at a college student union or something. lol. But we ended up sharing a large table with one other person on a laptop and a pair of two girls as well. Parking was a bit challenging to find as it was street parking only. Overall, I probably wouldn't come back personally, just because the coffee was only okay, the parking was hard, I'd worry about not having somewhere to sit, and I felt like an outsider with the clientele there. However, I really loved my waffle and the kind workers. So I wouldn't be opposed to coming back either!

If you're coming here ona Saturday be prepared for quite a bit of people. I'm glad to see they're doing well. When I got there, there was a bit of a line but I was impressed at how fast they had it moving without seemingly to impact the quality of the drinks. I went for one of their signatures, a pistachio matcha ($7.50) and it is quite tasty. I wouldn't say I tasted too much pistachio throughout the matcha but the pistachio garnish gave it a nice additional texture. Inside there's are numerous places to sit with a variety of choices, from booths to smaller tables to longer shared ones. The music was a bit on the louder side in general. Overall I enjoyed my drink and would love to come back. I'm curious if it's as busy mid-week with people studying or working from here.

Visited Atmos on a Friday mid morning, the place was filled with so many young people I had almost wondered if we were near a school. It was honestly a little strange - but whatever. I ordered a tiramisu latte, which was described to have a "strong tiramisu" flavor m, which I thought was a funny description since tiramisu is a coffee flavored cake - so did the tiramisu latte taste like coffee? Ha ha - anyway I think it was $7.00+ and definitely NOT worth it. Service was quick Place was cute Atmosphere was weird with all the young copy-cat people Coffee average I got a croissant and it tasted like they may have purchased from Sam's Club, but my daughter got a waffle that she didn't finish so I tasted that and it was delicious. With the many, many coffee options in the area probably won't be back. But wish them luck in their endeavors!!!

This was my first time at Atmos. It was very nicely decorated and had comfortable seating. It had a mix of tables and booths. Atmos itself was spacious. We were there a little before noon. It was busy but not packed. I loved the cups used to serve our latte and Cortado. The everything bagel was good also. The area around Atmos is building up. Parking is slightly difficult. We had to park on the street. After ordering I was told the coffee with orange essence was as the way to go. I will get that on my next visit. It was refreshing to see Atmos does not charge extra for milk alternative. I wish other coffee shops would do the same.

Atmos is currently in their soft opening phase, but you'd never know because they have it completely dialed in. The menu is filled with plenty of classic coffee options as well as waffles (I did not see these, but I'm curious to try!) My drink was outstanding, refreshing and easily one of my favorites I've had in a while. As for the atmosphere... it's huge. Tons of seating, cozy cubbies, couches, barstools, and plenty of room to spread out. It feels like an ikea showroom (compliment.) It would be a lovely WFH spot or a perfect place for a book club or meeting friends. If this is just their soft opening, I can't wait to see what more is to come. As for me, I will likely begin posting on this account again! If there is anywhere you want me to try, new seasonal menus, and anything else- let me know! We're back baby!!!

Great new spot on Cleveland's near west side. A lot of space for groups, one-on-one's and solos. Well decorated. Chargers readily available and accessible. Great coffee with efficient service. Their pistachio waffle and specialty syrup is a hidden gem and worth the try. Highly recommend!

One of the best matchas I've had! I got the pistachio one and my friend got the blueberry pie one. Such great flavor and very smooth. Already dreaming of my next visit!

Super cute new coffee shop in the Detroit-Shoreway neighborhood. I love that they have booths, in a addition to tables and open seating. The decor is modern and the space is bigger than I expected. I got the tiramisu latte cold, it was a good drink but not overly flavorful. The waffles smelled delicious and I can't wait to go back and try them.

This one feels a little less cozy, maybe because it's on a busier street and has less seating, but the vibes are still great. Menus are exactly the same. I got a fabulous pistachio and cardamom bevvie, as well as my beloved ham toastie. The service was absolutely amazing and I struck up a great convo with the ladies who assisted me. Six Shooter is hands down my favorite coffee shop in Cleveland for both the coffee (grounds are delicious and reasonably priced) and the good vibes. Really awesome and welcoming neighborhood feel. I love supporting this business.

I decided on the "Olive it a Latte" latte - a graza olive oil infused milk steamed with citrus pistachio simple syrup and poured over an espresso!! I was slightly scared after I ordered because I wasn't 100% sure about the flavor - but it was pretty good! Not my favorite ever but it was such a fun flavored latte to try!! - plus the guy who made my latte made it a point to show me the latte art before putting my to go lid on and that made my day! they were so kind!! Plus my friend really enjoyed the "Collinwood" espresso blend I got her - so all in all we were both happy...and what else can you ask for? Ill have to make my way back over here for another fun latte flavor!
